We were greeting by a nice lady and offered us a drink while we shopped. I got sparkling water and my buddy got a coffee. They only sell 2 watch brands here: Tudor and Rolex. We quickly looked at the Tudor area but the sales staff was busy so we headed over to the Rolex area. We were helped immediately from a sales staff member and we were shown a couple watches. We asked what they had in stock and they only had a few lady pieces and had 1 DateJust in stock which is what I was looking for but it was the Bright Blue and I really want the Mint Green. Do I just get it or get what I want? I decided to get and wait for exactly what I want. It was so hard to pass up but don't just settle. We made our way to the Tudor area and I looked at the Black Bay Chrono which was impressive. After trying this on and feeling the watch, I have quickly added to my list of a future watch to purchase. I love the fact the staff is nice and answered all of our questions. They were not trying us to convince us to make a purchase. Even when I was waffling on the DateJust, the sales person agreed, get what you want and don't settle. I'll stop buy to check on their stock. And when I want to buy the Tudor, I'll come visit to make a purchase.

Sam and his team at European Jewelry are miracle workers! My parents have been using them for many years, and I learned why when I bought my now-fiancee an engagement ring. The ring, which I purchased at the Field Museum, is very unique and rare, boasting a special design cast for the Field Museum's engagement collection, with markings all around the band and a setting built into the ring. It has special meaning to my fiancee and to me. It needed resizing and a specifically sized stone for the non-removable setting. Another jeweler said he had to cut the beautiful design and actually criticized me for choosing such a difficult-to-adjust ring! You can bet I never will use his services. My folks sent me to Sam, and not only did he resize (up a whole size!) the ring without cutting or hurting the ring's structure or design, but he also found the perfect diamond. Given my concern about conflict stones, as I have done work with refugees from Sierra Leone, I wanted only a Canadian diamond. Sam and his team found not only a Canadian diamond, but also one in the exact size I needed! He even gave me a deal that fit my budget. Within two days, the cubic zirconium in the ring was replaced by a gorgeous diamond. The only anxiety came from having everything done so quickly -- I still had lots of time before the proposal on our anniversary! I can assure you that European Jewelry will live on as our family jeweler. They're pleasant, friendly and will work with you to get you what you need within a reasonable budget and timeframe. My fiancee says her ring is the most beautiful in the world and absolutely loves the diamond. I agree! read more

It doesn't get much better than walking into European Jewelry. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and is always good for a couple of laughs. They do an excellent job of creating an atmosphere that is both lighthearted and comfortable (which is important for most guys who are nervous to walk into a jewelry store). Whether you are a expert or don't know a thing about jewelry, the staff will do an excellent job of taking care of your needs and educating you on your purchase to help you feel comfortable and make the right decision. I was introduced to European Jewelry almost 10 years ago and have purchased many items throughout the years. They've done everything for me from watches and chains to earrings, necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry. I feel like a part of their family whenever I walk into the doors because the staff remembers me and greets me so kindly. Nancy has the biggest heart in the world and Sam and Sammie are the most knowledgeable people I have met when it comes to all kinds of jewelry. When I was ready to propose to my girlfriend there was no doubt in my mind that I had to go to European Jewelry. Phil is one of the best guys to work with for rings and him and Sam were able to listen to what I was looking for and make it a reality. My husband purchased my engagement ring from European Jewelry in Mount Prospect in 2010. We have since moved out of state and had not been back to the jewelry store since them. Recently, I noticed that one of the small diamonds was missing out of the side of my ring and since we were back in town visiting, I stopped into the store to see if the guarantee that my husband was told (it was not in writing on the receipt) was still valid. Another jeweler wanted to charge us $100.00 for the replacement diamond. Sam recognized my ring right away and even remembered my husband's name! "No problem he said the ring will be ready tomorrow (we were leaving to return home in two days) and there is no charge...it is under our guarantee." I cannot tell you how happy I am with Sam and the service I received. A woman, Nancy, even took the time to upgrade our appraisal for the ring and clean my other jewelry too! What an experience I had at European Jewelry. The customer service I received was above and beyond my expectations. I had zero knowledge of diamonds and settings going into this process. So after 15 years of marriage and three kids later I figured I should get my rings sized! I had 3 gold rings and I really felt the need to update and maybe get them all put into one. The process was explained to me about getting a wax setting made so I could see how my new ring would look. When it came, it was exactly what I had told them I wanted. I just picked up the final ring and all I have to say is WOW! It looks amazing and they did such a great job! Sam and Nancy are great! They help you along the way and keep you up to date on the process. I recommend them to everyone I know! I am speechless as to how wonderful my ring looks and makes me feel. I went to Sam at European Jewelers on a recommendation from my father to take a look at engagement rings. I live in San Jose, CA and was home for X-mas. I found a setting that I loved but the diamond was just pretty nice. It was in my budget so I was going to move forward. Sam could tell I wasn't thrilled with the diamond so he offered to find a better one in back. I was running out of time (needed to catch a flight back home) and my father trusted him so I agreed. I had a ring resized by European Jewelry and they did a perfect job - they were quick, the sizing was accurate and I could hardly take my eyes off the ring after I had it back - it looked brand new and all shiny!!! I hadn't taken the ring off my finger for 9 years, although occasionally it would slip off and give me hard time finding it. Sam took less then 10 minutes to measure my size, resize it and polish it. And now with the weather colder, the ring is a bit looser than as it was during the summer, but still fits snugly on my finger without falling. So if you bought a larger ring or lost weight or even decided to change the finger on which to wear it :), I recommend EJ. My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from Sam and was overly impressed to say the least. Sam was immensely helpful helping him customize the ring from the band to the diamond to the halo. He even stayed after closing for him to pick up the ring once it was finished. Following our purchase, I had gone in to have my ring resized on my lunch. While there I was offered lunch, toffee, water, had some wonderful conversation and my ring polished free of charge. FANTASTIC Service! I never wear rings so my boyfriend had to guess my ring size when he proposed. It ended up being one size too small. I was so excited and wanted to wear it all weekend and was fearful it would take days to fix. What I love most about Di Moda is there ability to custom order things, you can come in with something that they don't even carry or an idea out of your mind and the staff and jeweler will work together to make it your one of a mind masterpiece. I've had pieces custom designed here and I will only treasure them (pun intended) for the rest of my life. I cannot wait to go back here around the holidays, my birthday or when my husband is feeling extra generous. A must go to jewelry store in the suburbs that beats many city places out of the water!

George would not give the watch back until someone drove there to bring him the $5. my son had a credit card and venmo and George would not take it....i would rather pay 10x at a different jeweler....amazing...will never step foot in that place again...do not shop here!
