I've had a Tesla Model 3 for four years and, because I don't drive often, have been charging with a regular 110v outlet. Not a big deal to me as I usually replenish the battery used the day prior, overnight. But the wife just recently joined the Tesla family and picked up a Model Y before Thanksgiving. She drives about 30 miles a day, 4 days a week. And she doesnt have my patience!!! Thanks to our community's FB page, EV Pros had several recommendations there so I decided to check them out and go with them! My initial conversation with Jennifer was great, she let me know what she needed from me and gave me the options that may occur depending on what our main panel/sub-panel would allow. We were able to schedule an appointment within that same week and we were lucky to have Brandon do the install. Brandon arrived on time, was incredibly polite and showed me the work he'd be doing from the sub-panel. I believe it only took him a couple of hours before his work was complete! I came out to the garage and saw a newly installed Nema 15-40! Brandon made sure to clean up after himself and even brought out a minivac to pick up any residue from the drywall. Again, the service he provided was nothing short of outstanding! I've read a lot of recommendations and reviews on NextDoor and Yelp. Despite knowing that EV Pros has a higher price point, I still decided to go with them for their quality work. I like the fact that they are forthcoming about their pricings. My brother in law had used them in the past so they are highly recommended. My NEMA outlet was installed a day before my charger came. When I went to install my charger, I realized that the outlet was upside down since the charger's cable was very short. I don't have much wiggle room to turn the cable up to plug it in. Without much expectation since it was a 4th of July weekend, I reached out to EV Pros asking if they would come out to help me flip the outlet around. Russell, who installed the outlet initially, responded and came out on Sunday morning to turn the outlet around for me. It was a very nice gesture for him to do so and I'm very grateful for it. Day of, the crew was right on time, got straight to work, and went the extra mile to make sure the installation was as clean as possible (and routed the most aesthetically, even if it was harder for them). I was also impressed that they could so easily rearrange circuits and make room in my 100a breaker box to get a 40 amp breaker with 32 amp charging. We recently had our Tesla charger installed by EV Pros. They were very professional. Upon meeting our installer, he introduced himself and handed us a business card in the event we needed to contact them for anything at anytime. He proceeded to evaluate the site of installation including any possible obstacles (and there were a few for our installation due to AC units and solar panels previously installed) and managed to find a way through. Pricing was arranged in advance with pictures sent and there was no upsell during installation and no additional charges required during installation. Kwan was very professional throughout the service and even offered multiple tips from placement of wires to charging of EVs. He also brought his own trash can and cleaned up after the installation was done. There was not a single piece of trash or scrap wiring left behind!
