I've gone here a few times, but I need to find a new spot after my most recent visit. The staff are all very friendly, but my most recent manicure has a ton of air holes and missing spots. Sides of my fingernails didn't get painted, so the nail shows through. If you're in a pinch, they're nice and the work isn't awful, but I've had better. read more

I don't even have the patience to write a detailed review! Basically, I came in for a manicure and gel polish. The polish wasn't near my cuticles and too much nail was left unpainted. Now I'm sitting here having them soak off the polish. If she would have done it the way I asked in the first place I wouldn't be wasting my time. After the first coat I asked if she could go closer to my cuticles the 2nd time. She said yes. So I turned away for a second. I wasn't paying attention. So when I turned back she was finished with the 2nd coat on just one hand. And they looked sloppy. Gel costs more than regular polish. The least they can do is be neat, and pay attention. So annoying! It takes so long to find a good nail salon when you relocate. And she cut my skin on my little finger. After a manicure, is this what my nails are supposed to look like? She didn't even carefully remove all of the polish. It doesn't even look like I got a manicure! *** UPDATE *** Holly fixed my nails. They are exactly what I wanted. My friends and I came here for the first time and DEFINITELY the last. First off they told us different prices over the phone vs when we sat in the chairs, that was a whole thing. They kept telling us different numbers and speaking over one another so I asked for the menu and the price on there was what they told us over the phone(they wanted to charge me 35$ for a fill when it's 20$ on the menu and the price they told us over the phone JUST A REGULAR FILL NO GELL NO DESIGN) Second, they were being rough with my friends nails. Cutting her twice and never once said anything apologetic and when she told her nail tech it hurts because you cut me the nail tech simply says "thats why I put (some liquid to stop the bleeding) on you"...it wasn't like we were being rude we were having conversations with everyone. Third and the biggest issue was that they didn't have the chrome color my friend in the picture wanted so instead they experimented on her nails that took us 2 hours of sitting there with her 4-year-old with us.....they had 3-4 ladies crowding over her trying to figure this out without communicating with us until my friend got upset and asked themwhat is the problem?.....HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I've been coming here on and off for a few years now. I can never really rely on one person there to do a consistent job every time. Last time i went i got a gel manicure and it lasted 3 weeks. I went last Tuesday and it's already peeling and it's gel! Must have been the 7 layers of gel polish she laid on thick :/ i really like this place but it's not worth the $. You think you'd get what you pay for... and they refused to do it over. After only a week and gel comes off? Sadly, I'll be finding a new place to go to. read more

This was our first time using Eva Nails. It was my daughter's birthday and we decided to go last minute, since we were in that shopping center. It was pretty busy since it was a Saturday, but they gladly said they'd get us taken care of as soon as possible. We only waited about 10 min. My daughter got a full set with gel, a gel pedicure, and I got a manicure and pedicure. The prices were reasonable. My nail specialist was Eva, the owner. She was so sweet and friendly! There was no feeling of being rushed, even though they were super busy. They took their time and did an amazing job. My nails looked great. My daughter said these were the best acrylics she's ever gotten. It's been a week and no chips or dullness. They still look great! This salon definitely stood out. We've tried a lot of places and this one went above and beyond, even offering everyone bottles of water if they were thirsty, as it was a warm day out. They did an overall amazing job. This place used to be called DC Nails and the customer service before was terrible. When I heard they changed owner/manager and she has over 20 years of experience running a nail salon boutique in Beverly Hills, I have to give them another try and let me tell you, this is easily my go-to spot now! It's a really pleasant surprise to come back this time because I didn't have any expectations whatsoever. The location is superb because it's sandwiched in a huge shopping center. My feet were really tired from walking/shopping all day and I didn't make an appointment but I was attended right away. The ladies who did my mani/pedi were very friendly and gave me plenty of time to pick colors (indecisive ppl will understand my struggle of picking between 50 shades of pink/red lol). They did a really nice job removing all my dead skins, gave me a little foot massage and cleanly painted my nails. My gel mani lasted longer than other places that I went to. I was very happy with their service and will def be back again! I gave them a really nice tips at the end but small business like this will really appreciate it if you don't include tips on your transaction and just tip them separately. The reason I decided to write this review was because they get bad reps from the previous nail salon (DC Nails) which I used to go to before and hated it, but under this new management, they deserve more than a 5 stars! Never going here again i got the worst service and i have never felt so disrespected before. The ladies we're making fun of my normal nails ( i have short nails because they don't grow out right and they break easily) and one of the workers sat next to me and got a manicure. She looked over and for some reason was looking at my shoes. She then said something to the technician in another language and she pointed and started laughing at my feet. My nail technician had cut my finger and after i saw that it was bleeding she then took a cotton ball WITH ACETONE ON IT and then squeezed it on top of my cut. She said, " all better, this will help". Then sometime i would move my fingers in accident and the lady would hit my hand and stop what she's doing until i stop moving. THEN here's the worst part. My sister comes in and comes up to me. She notices that i got gel and asked, " why did you get gel?" and i said " oh my nail technician convinced me to get gel. the color is baby blue." and my nail lady had the nerve to ask my sister " do YOU want to help paint her nails?" and they were closing the shop while i was getting my nails done. I felt completely rushed and these ladies for some reason were all in a hurry. I was half way into my nails being done. I went there at 5:45 and the didn't close until 7. I've been going to her for sometime now... she recently moved to a new salon, and this was my first time at Eva Nails. The salon was OK, a little too noisy if you are trying to relax from a long day. The work here is not exceptional, at all. The prices for services have been going up steadily over the last few months. They have a credit/debit card machine - but when asked they tell customers "it's not working". They point you to an ATM machine inside the establishment, that has a $3.50 fee to withdraw cash. A sign says they prefer cash because of high cc fees. But they insist on cash, so don't come into the salon without a roll of bills. read more

Well, been waiting patiently for my nail salon to open. I read that salons open today. I got up early to drive by and at 8 someone was in. I went in and asked to make appointment with Tina. The lady said not sure if she was in. I saw Tina's name in the book amd had no appointments made. The lady said to come back at 10 amd she would remember me. I got in at 9:45 and Tina was in bit working on someone. fine....my appointment was at 10 and I told reception that I had an appointment with her. She asked me to sit and wait. In the meantime, Tina finishes and walks outside to bring in a customer, sat her down and started working on her. Then I'm motioned to take a seat in a chair by someone else. I told her I had appointment with Tina. Apparently, they double booked and even though I was I first they took the other customer. I went ahead to have my nails done, but will it be returning. It's unfortunate but they really should have communicated better. Really upset and I was so excited to come back. Make sure they write your name down and get an appointment card. I recommend going elsewhere read more

Went here today with my mom and daughter... we had pedicures and I must say this was probably the laziest pedicures we have ever had anywhere. My daughter and I got a regular pedi and we treated my mom to the works. Mom had a great girl that did a nice job but my daughter and I basically just got a foot soak and polish. Super disappointed although the atmosphere is very nice and the workers were nice. They did give everyone bottled water. read more

Disappointed. I feel these women were told to get low end jobs out fast since new ownership. Two to three minute soak, per foot, did not want callus remove because didn't need it. So I got the fast version of of $20 pedicure. Pedicure took twenty minutes. Trimmed and cleaned up a bit, sloppy job. One coat of polish, and top coat. Done! Left a three dollar tip. Still waiting for them to finish my mom's feet- who paid for callus removal- it's been one hour and she is still in her seat. Hmmm. Not sure if I'll be back here anymore. Also have to use an ATM with a dollar fifty charge to pay with cash. Total cost $24.50. read more

I've been coming here for the past three years and I've never had many problems except once with a set they cut to much on one side of the nail... but I paid for a gel manicure and it lasted less than a week and they said I can come back to fix it.. I went and got a pedicure as well and they charged me to fix my nails! This was the worst experience I've had here they kept questioning me on who helped me the last time and that I should've came after three days... I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been here a couple of times or more out of necessity. The first time there the service was quick and the ladies were friendly. The 2nd time around I believe the owner did my pedicure and cut my nails too short and appeared to be in a hurry; it was painful. The third time around, the young lady was pleasant but barely spoke English and it was hard to communicate what I wanted, another lady had to translate. I wish I could give this nail salon 0 stars. This was by far the worst experience I've had at any salon. I honestly don't know why they're still in business. Not only did they CALL THE COPS ON ME for refusing to pay for their horrible work, but I also had to make a doctors visit because they drilled and filed off the skin from my fingertips. I came in to get a full set of acrylic nails with the dip polish and THE OWNER started to do my nails but she said she was hungry so she went to go eat and LEFT ME WITH AN UNTRAINED LADY WITH NO MANICURIST LICENSE. I told her I wanted long coffin nails and she cut my nails as short as my real nails and made them look almond shaped. I asked her to bring the owner back to take them off and they were both telling me that the nail shape looked fine. I WASN'T GOING TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT I DIDN'T ASK FOR, so I kindly asked her to remove them so she drilled off all the skin from my finger tips and I even told her I was in pain as my fingers started to bleed. Anyways, as I tried to leave the salon WITH NO NAILS, she made a scene and pushed me back as I headed towards the door. As she pushed me, she yelled at the other employees to lock the door, so basically all the customers were trapped inside. The commotion got so loud that other customers inside wanted to leave. I told her I was going to call the police but the owner already had an employee call the police first. The other employees kept pointing and talking about me while I was waiting for the police to arrive. When the police came, I showed them the drilled off skin on my fingers and they had kindly recommended me to never go to this salon again and to visit a doctor to get my wounds treated. DO NOT get your eyebrows done here. I just spent the last 5 months growing them out to get them done before the new year. I cried when I saw how the lady did them. I had beautiful, thick brows that only needed a clean up...she completely reshaped them after she said she wouldn't. She waxed too much on the inside and now one of my brows start way too far out.
