It's good, the ladies are nice, but honestly I just need a basic cut and for $14 it's too much in my opinion I have gotten the same cut for $8-12 so if I'm in a pinch and desperately need a cut I'll come here other wise I'll go to my other spots, the places I go too are with in a few miles from here so I don't mind the drive. I just can't justify $14 when like I said the same exact cut I can get between $8-12. They don't do anything extra special that the other barber shops don't do. I've gone to too many barbershops where they completely mess up my hair or don't do it correctly. I found this place when I used to live down the street. As I've moved from city to city I always come back. Every once in a while I used to try a local spot closer to where I lived and was always dissapointed. I have, since, stopped doing that and always come here! My two Peruvian angels Eva and Lucy will give you a great haircut at a great price. I figure they must be angels to make my big ol' diablo melon look good. I've been coming here for several years and always walk out happy. This ain't no fancy salon with hundred dollar shampoos nor gimmicky barber shop that caters to the wanna be rockabilly crowd. And they don't sell a bunch of ripoff overpriced hair products. The clientele is mostly men although I have seen many younger girls get a chop here it's mostly a straightforward barber shop. So if you need a tint or an hombre look elsewhere. It's walk-ins only and you might wait 20-40 min on a busy weekend morning. No appointment needed. They have a TV to watch sports (weekends) or gameshows (weekdays) to keep you entertained while you wait. The prices are great ($11) too! They are pretty quick but still do a great job. Been coming to this barber shop for 6 years. I will not however, be coming here again. There was a person on the phone waiting to get his hair cut . . . . 10 minutes later the person he was on the phone with showed up. So the person that had originally been waiting went up to get his haircut and I was next . . or so I thought. As soon as I sat down, Eva (the owner), said that the guy who had just gotten there was next. I waited 30 damn minutes for some random ass person who had not been there for more than 5 minutes to cut ahead of me. I then grabbed my stuff and left. Some complete bullshit. I am like most men. I care about how my hair looks and I am picky about how my haircut looks. I moved to Anaheim from Huntington Beach and wanted to take my chances by going and searching for a local barber. I have a great barber in Huntington Beach and the drive really isn't far given the fact that I know that the job will get done exactly how I like it.....but I took a risk. A risk that I will never regret. I ended up looking on Yelp to check reviews on local barbershops to see which one was going to be tested. I saw shops with big screens, shops with flashy lights, and shops with cool looking people standing around everywhere. Not impressed. What so ever. I wanted a good haircut. Not a good place to watch the game. So I came across this simple looking barbershop that had a "real" look to it. It had one of those "we don't need anything to show who we are, our cuts speak for themselves" look to it. The name of this barbershop was Eva's. Eva's Barbershop. The first-time in here of course I was skeptical. I have never seen her cut hair and I have been let down in the past by others that claim that they are good at fades. Well...Eva was not good. She was not even close to good. SHE WAS EXCELLENT and she did a phenomenal job. I was impressed and she just gained a client for life. Since the first-time here I have been back a few times. Always impressed. Whether it's Monday or Friday, mid day or almost closing time, line or no line, she always does the job right, takes whatever time it takes to make you look good and she does it with pride. Her prices are not high. They are actually lower than most shops around. You pay for a great haircut here....not for a haircut and the shop's cable bill like those other shops with 20 flat screens that end up going out of business in a year.
