Wow! Even Coast was a 10/10 experience! My friend and I enjoyed all of our drinks, appetizers and entrees. I don't remember our waiters name, but he was superb! We orders the shrimp cocktail, my favorite sauce was the jalapeño one. The cesar salad was one of the best Cesar salads I've ever had. I had the red fish and my friend had the shrimp paste. An incredible experience for our anniversary last night. The lump crab and mussels were incredible to start, extremely flavorful and unique combinations. For a main course, we split the bucatini which was kindly individually portioned for us. The drink menu has great variety, and I found the dirty vodka martini to be exceptional. Finally, the desserts (pistachio gelato and olive oil cake were our choices) were very fresh and delicious. Service was wonderful and we received a visit from several team members making sure we found the meal satisfactory and our waiter was both attentive and offered us great suggestions. What a cute, elegant place tucked away on Belt Line! Decor is great. Large bar. Great wine list. Food was really good! We had calamari, wedge salad, and a filet. Calamari was crispy and had some veggies - really enjoyable! The Wedge was really tasty and I love a good wedge! The steak was great! It had a char on it but was so juicy and tender - perfect combo! Visited this establishment last week and again this past Monday, experiencing both table and bar sides. The food is great, drinks are nice, and the HH is hands down the best I have encountered in a while. HH favorites are crab dip and chips. I heard both the cold and lightly dusted oysters were tasty and fresh. Camron on the barside is top notch no offense to the other staff, my only interaction was with him. My fiancé and I made a last minute decision to have dinner at Even Coast. We were able to get seats at the bar. The restaurant is large and very nicely decorated. Great lively vibe! We ordered the same drink - Sultry Passion. So flavorful more tart than sweet which I prefer. For an app, we got the jumbo shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were huge and delicious and the cocktail sauce and dill sauce really complimented the dish. For my entree, I ordered the fish and chips - not something I would typically ordered but a friend had recommended it. It was a huge piece that wasn't too breaded. It was tasty! My fiancé ordered the 10 oz hangar steak with French fries. It was perfectly cooked - medium. He already wants to go back and eat there. Even Coast is a great date night spot with fabulous food and drinks. We will definitely be adding this place to our lunch/dinner spot rotation! read more

We visited the other day and had another outstanding dinner. This time, my husband and I split the 8 oz filet that came with whipped mashed potatoes. It was so good and I loved the delicous char on the outside. Before that we enjoyed a dozen raw oysters for the table, cornmeal dusted oysters, the jumbo lump crab and the bucatini pasta with crab. All of the other items were as enjoyable as they were on our first visit. The service from Sarah was impeccable and I noted this time how quiet this restaurant is compared to others. This is still one of my favorites in the metroplex. Truly perfect food! read more

The menu offers just enough variety to please everyone and the cocktail menu is fresh and seasonally delicious! Mussels had just the right amount of heat. What a spot! Grateful to have been going on a quiet Sunday night, so it was not busy and we had no wait time. Our waiter was attentive and polite, always ensuring what we needed while also maintaining a positive attitude. The inside was beautiful and perfect for a nice date night or special occasions, or just to treat yourself to a nice meal! We ordered the Sultry Passion and Amore as our drinks, both were delicious and perfectly balanced, and ended up pairing well with our entrees. We ordered the buffalo milk burrata as our appetizer, which was DELICIOUS. The creamy and savory cheese was perfectly balanced with juicy grapefruit, orange, and pomegranate, and there was a nice crunch of pistachio to finish it off. As for entrees, we put in an order for the lamb chops as well as the 8oz hanger, both cooked medium rare. The hanger was paired with whipped Yukon golds and a wine butter sauce. WOW. Buttery, rich, and lush, perfectly balanced in terms of flavors, each bite melted in my mouth. As for the lamb chops, they were perfectly cooked with a flavorful char. The cabbage, spring onions, harissa and tzatziki only emphasized the delicious flavor of the meat to make a wonderful palette of Mediterranean flavor. We finished off with a slice of the orange olive oil cake that was refreshing and light. Everything was delicious and I will 100% be recommending Even Coast to friends and family. My only mild complaint is that my favorite dish (octopus) is over priced for the 4 tentacles you are served for $40. We went to check this place out yesterday and they seriously need to work on their portions. Fried calamari had maybe small 8-9 pieces at the most and for what they charged, I wanted to send it back. PEI mussels were great though and pretty much everything we got. But come on! You can charge like $20 and only give that little when PEI mussels were plentiful. And my pasta portion was tiny as well. I would've given 5-stars but the hostess reception was chilly. We walked in on a Saturday evening (I checked to see if reservations were available, and they were). The hostess told us they were unable to seat us. I then heard her tell the next group she'd add them to the waitlist. This upset me, so I placed a reservation for 20 min later. After 10 minutes, we went up and gave her our reservation and were sat. After that, we had an incredible experience. Our server was amazing and so was the food. We would be happy to return again, but I'll definitely make a reservation to avoid the unnecessary confrontations. Also, we saw a few empty tables around us the entire time we were there. read more

Attended Even Coast upon the recommendation of a work colleague prompted by the Monday burger crave. Little did I know this was not a burger joint at all, very classy spot that specializes in market fresh seafood dishes and is also a steakhouse. I still went with the burger and was not disappointed by any measure of the imagination. One of the juiciest burgers I've ever had with a special sauce that was the perfect complement to the melted cheese and seared meat. I recommend eating the fries with a fork, not conventional by any means, but they are matchstick so super thin and crispy, yet delicious. Even Coast offers great food and really great service. Perfectly cooked seafood. Knowledgeable wait staff shared their menu recommendations and they were spot on. Their food and staff deserve 5 stars. Our booth table in the bar was a good size for 4 people. I thought it was a good idea when I requested bar seating. Unfortunately, the bar is very loud. We couldn't hear each other across the table because of the noise. You know what happens when it's loud. Everyone talks louder and the volume just continues to rise. We had planned an after dinner drink, but we had to get out of there. We'll try Even Coast again, but will try the dining room next time. read more

Food was excellent! Smallish portions but that's great for sampling if you enjoy sharing meals. Service was attentive. The star of the show is the ambiance. It's a lovely restaurant. We had lump crab, scallops, and broccolini. We also got the almond cake for dessert. In hindsight, we should have also ordered a salad or appetizer just to round out the meal, but we didn't know the portion sizes until later. I ordered a delicious drink that was served in a whimsical red fish cup! A hoot. The critique that kept them from a 5 star was the way we felt rushed the entire time. There's good service and then there's "let's get them in and out quickly". For a place that I booked a reservation weeks out, I was surprised to find that at the hour marker we started noticing that our table was being "eyed" by the waitstaff and managers. A Friday evening dinner should be minimally an hour and half before any sort of nudging occurs. It's not fast food! I would return and would enthusiastically recommend it to friends, but I would warn them that it's not the kind of sit back and relax place. It's great to pop in, or choose to sit at the bar if you don't want to rush. read more

My wife and I have dined at Even Coast several times in the last couple of months. What a delight! The service is impeccable. Any of the wait staff will take care of you if you need something. No need to search for your assigned waiter. The last time we went at least six different staff looked after us. The food is really excellent. The Hokkaido Scallops and Texas Redfish are great from the seafood choices. Even the pasta dishes are noteworthy (a rarity in DFW). The oysters are a hit as well. They have a Happy Hour menu which features half price drinks from all of the cocktails on the cocktail menu. And the ambience is wonderful from the buzz at the bar to an outside patio as well as the main dining area and a quieter atrium. A great experience. read more
