I absolutely LOVE everbowl. I highly recommend it at every opportunity I get. I love the Chewy, Dream and the Colada bowl. The service is also great. Every time I go, I feel very welcome. This morning I was craving a Dream bowl and decided to make the drive 15 minutes out of my way. Google said they were open however, when I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying the hours had changed. This is definitely a first world problem and I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer. It just would've been nice to have gotten the correct information. On our way back, which took us thru San Marcos, I asked if we could stop by and try this place out. We were immediately greeted by like, a million employees all waiting for the order. We ordered: Dream Smoothie PB Spinach Acai Blueberries Cacao Bananas Chocolate Nut Milk Whatever Bowl (make your own) Graviola blended with Coconut water, Maca powder, and Flax seeds Topped with Blueberries Strawberries Kiwi Coconut flakes Cacao Nibs Granola Hemp Seeds So the deal is, you pick a bowl, or make your own and you get to choose as many toppings as you'd like.. for $8/24oz YOU CAN PICK AS MANY TOPPINGS AS YOU WANT...WHAAAAAT!?!?!?! These are the best acai bowls I've ever had. I guess considering that bowls are their namesake, they should be good at them. When you walk in, there are menu boards to prompt you. You can either order off an extensive pre-made bowl menu, or make your own. I decided to go with the standard everbowl, which the lady at the counter said was their most popular, and it was surprisingly unbasic. I had never had grapes or goji berries as a topping for my acai bowls before, but they were good. My boyfriend decided to be a little more adventurous and went with the pit-chia bowl, which I actually ended up liking better than mine. It came with lots of fruit toppings, as well as chia seeds and toasted coconut. They also offer a green bowl which the worker said was more bitter. I've never seen that offered anywhere else but I'll be back to try it soon. read more

I first heard about Everbowl when I spotted the Poway one but never had the chance to go there. It was a great discovery to find the San Marcos location. At first, I had my doubts. $8 for an acai bowl? $8! That's pretty expensive but then I had it and it was delicious. Their acai is a perfect consistency and very tasty. The portion size is good too unlike some other acai spots. They have the BEST granola! I don't understand why it tastes so good. I wonder where they get their granola from or if they make it themselves. I love that they put granola at the bottom and above the acai to separate the fruit on top. I've tried both the chewy squared and the one with peanut butter (forgot the name). Chewy squared is by far my favorite. The one with peanut butter was a bit overwhelming in terms of peanut butter but still very delicious. Definitely get peanut butter if you want to be more full. I own a nearby business. My team and I often visit this location and the bowls are always good (the staff never seems to happy). Recently they raised the price by $1.00 and I can understand that too. My reason for the 1 star is the bowls have now (for the second time) started gong down hill and the staff is unfriendly. I found ice chunks in my bowl, the nut butter was smeared thinly to appear as if there was nut butter, but it was not even a teaspoon. Sometimes when I am behind at work I will send clients to this Ever bowl location. This was a sad disappointment and I regrettably will no longer go there or recommend others. read more

I've been to a lot of everbowls and stores that sell açaí, but none of them can beat how everbowl tastes. Not only is the açaí and pitaya amazing, but you have unlimited toppings for only $9 (used to be $8 but the raised the prices, understandable). I do have to say that some places do not blend the base very well so you have huge chunks. Tonight I went to this location at 7:40p, 20 minutes prior to closing, and the staff had locked the doors and were cleaning with the music blasting. After pointing to my watch reflecting the fact that it's 20 minutes until the posted closing time, the young lady still shook her head and mouthed "we're closed" I totally understand the fact that you wanna get out early. But, when your sign says that you close at 8 o'clock, that does not mean that you close at 7:30p. In all of my jobs, including working at a restaurant, you do not lock the doors prior to your posted closing time. Hopefully the manager reviews this and relays that to the staff. All I want is an acai bowl to end my 12 hour work day. I guess now I have to show up more than 30 minutes before closing time to make sure that I can get something to eat here UPDATE at 7:47p - as I was writing this review, another customer was knocking on the door wondering why they are closed. For $8 you get to pick everything you want in your bowl and their ingredients are always fresh, no sugar added, and they offer a rewards program which is an added bonus! Have frequented the Poway location, first time at this location. Ordered a pitaya bowl with extra granola today - I noticed the lack of granola so, I kindly asked the employee for an extra side. Employee first told me that they "are not allowed to give out sides of granola anymore" I then asked if I could pay for a side and she said they "had no way to ring me up for it"... ok that's fine nothing to throw a fit about... then as we sat outside there's a trash can overflowing beside our table and what is on the ground?! What looks like a SIDE OF GRANOLA??? We aren't that upset about it - it gave us a good laugh - just an unusual situation for a place that prides themselves on "unlimited toppings". The girls that helped us were friendly though we did also notice some unprofessionalism while we sat outside... employees eating bowls behind the counter, another employee stretching and touching their shoes/hair and going back behind counter to ring people up and prepare smoothies and bowls.
