    Delicious yak dumplings

Cannot say enough good things about this place! The yak dumplings were flavorful with a delicious accompanying sauce. The kendai lamb was incredibly tender and was served with the perfect rice-to-sauce ratio. Tasty mango lassi with just a bit of zing. Mustang aloo spicy and fun. Our server was cheerful, polite, and attentive. Fantastic unassuming hole-in-the-wall place with amazing food and service!

This place looks very unassuming from the outside, but stop in and try the food because it's amazing. My husband and I dined in for dinner and they had it very cutely decorated for Valentine's Day. The service was quick and efficient, even when the restaurant started getting busy. We started with a couple of beers, one from India and one from Nepal, and veg steam momo. Being a vegetarian, it's difficult to find steamed veggie dumplings anywhere, so I was so excited to try the momo. They were delicious with a very complex spice profile. My husband ordered the Tandoori chicken, which had a great presentation. He said it was good and the chicken was so tender that it fell off the bone. I got the veg thukpa, thinking I'd go a little lighter since I wasn't super hungry. The portion was very large though so I have leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. The soup was very good with a delicious broth. I'm already planning what I want to order next time we go back to Everest Momo House. I'm so glad we discovered this place!

A small unassuming strip mall restaurant. Don't let the exterior fool you. This is one of those places you come to for the food, not the ambiance. As the name indicates, they do offer a large variety of momos, which are filled dumplings. I enjoyed the chicken chili momos, which were spicy on the outside from the chili, but had a very delicate tasty chicken filling. Nicely done, I'd say. I also ordered the Shrimp with spinach, which was a bit on the bland side, but still very tasty. Actually all the dishes were received well by all of our guests. With one exception, the naan was overdone and basically crispy. But who knows, that may be a regional thing or a one of occurrence, after all we had a fairly big group with 10 of us. We also found out that besides goat, there is also yak on the menu, which was not listed on their web site. I will definitely be back as there are many more menu items I would love to try.

Fantastic spot for Nepali food! A blend of tibetan, Indian, south west chinese cuisine results in a fantastic Nepalese cuisine that is wholesome and delicious. The thali here is great and the service is pretty good.

Super friendly and polite customer service! Ordered the Chicken Chili Momo and the Veg Steamed Momo. The Chicken Chili Momo was delicious but not spicy enough. The Veg Steamed Momo was just okay, the veggie stuffing was missing some kick to it. My dad ordered the Shrimp Fried Rice and mom ordered the Chicken Chow-Mein and they both thought it was about average. I also ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the chicken was overcooked other wise the curry was good. The rice was a good portion and the garlic naan was soft and crispy. Overall, the Chicken Chili Momo was my favorite.

First time trying Nepalese cuisine, and it did not disappoint. Great food and excellent service!

Stopped in here for Fathers Day lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant dining room is very comforting and would probably seat about 30-50 people at full capacity. The restaurant offers Indian and Nepalese cuisine. We always try a variety so we can try many things. We decided to try the Mango Lassi drink (which is very much like a mango smoothie/yogurt drink). It was amazing. I will include photos of the food we tried however everything was amazing and cooked to perfection. The service was very good. The waitress was very polite and very helpful since we didn't know what some of the items were. We will definitely be back to try more.

New Nepalese spot at 38th & High School Rd. They offer several kinds of momos (filled dumplings), and lots of other classic and regional Indian dishes. We got the chicken chili momo, paneer steamed momo, goat curry, and garlic naan. All were delicious, and the goat curry was the best we've had in some time.

Our foodie group came to Everest Momo House to try some Nepalese/Indian food for dinner one night during the week. This is the true definition of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant located in a small strip mall that serves outstanding Indian food at a reasonable price. Everest Momo House is definitely a small space, so large groups would be difficult to accommodate, so I would recommend a small group of 10 people or less if you decide to come here for dinner. The menu is very diverse and has an interesting selection of Nepalese/Indian food to choose from. All of us choose a different item so that we could all share each other's dishes. I choose the chicken Jhol momo soup and the lamb Curry dish. Everest Momo House is known for the Momo dish which is Indian dumplings stuffed with cheese, rice, your choice of meat, and Indian spices. The food was absolutely amazing and outstanding as I mentioned before. The Momo is prepared to absolute perfection. The chicken Jhol momo soup was the best thing I have put in my mouth in quite a while. The texture of the Momo was just right and the soup itself was excellent with the right Indian spices and broth put together. The lamb Curry was the same with excellent preparation of the lamb and the curry spices combination. It was paired very well with the white rice. Our server was very soft spoken, so it was hard to hear her at times, but she was very efficient and on top of everything with our group. She gave us wonderful customer service and we enjoyed our dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their food and no one had any complaints. The egg lo mein was fantastic and the other variety of Momo that I tried were superb. The only thing I would complain about is the Paneer bread. It was very stiff and looked like pita bread. It tasted Ok, but it was not the traditional Paneer bread I am used to which is soft and easy to break apart to dip into your food. Other than that, everything else was simply marvelous! Since Everest Momo House is a small place with a small kitchen, you can expect a little bit of a wait with your food if you are with a group of people. However, it is worth the wait, so do not get discouraged. Everest Momo House is one of the best Indian hole-in-the-wall restaurants that I have been to in Indianapolis, and I highly recommend everyone come check out this place. It is one of a kind and highly superior!

Fast & friendly service, and excellent food. I will be back! Their "medium" spice is sporty, but still very good.

I was fortunate enough to make a last minute reservation on open table (yay!) and we had an excellent table on the patio overlooking the water! It had been a couple of years since my last visit, and was sad to see some of my usual favorites no longer on the menu (I'm looking at you chicken cordon bleu fingers!!!). The vibes were incredible! Unfortunately our cocktails and food were average and honestly lacked a lot of flavor, but I will keep returning for the patio! I will say, parking can also be a nightmare depending on the time of day. They do have a rather big lot, so you may just be driving around for a while. If you happen to park further out, I appreciate they have a golf cart shuttle to the main entrance!

The service was great, and our server did everything he could to make our experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, I was heartbroken to learn that a new chef has taken over, completely revamped the menu, and STOPPED SERVING THE BEST APPETIZER IN ALL OF INDIANA: the Chicken Cordon Bleu Fingers. I genuinely have no idea why they would make this decision. These have been on the menu for well over a decade, have a cult following, and are one of the main reasons many people visit Rick's in the first place. Thankfully, our server went above and beyond and found a way to make it happen since they still prepare them for banquets and special events. That alone should tell you how beloved they are. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn't fare as well. The risotto was a major disappointment. It was bland, overcooked, and lacked the rich flavor it used to have. The gumbo was also underwhelming, tasting overly tomato-heavy and missing the depth and seasoning you'd expect. Overall, the food quality has noticeably declined. Between the menu changes and the disappointing execution, it's no longer worth the drive or the price point for me. It's disappointing to see a restaurant I once loved move in this direction.

This place was interesting to me. I would say I'm a bit of…read morea seafood snob being from Maryland and just moving back to Indy after being there for the last 10 years, soooo... here we go. The lobster roll was soggy and honestly? Too much. I prefer a classic lobster roll - warm, lobster, bread that still has a little crunch to it (just the tiniest bit), butter - but not too much. This was soggy and the celery situation took away from the essence of a lobster roll for me. I've never liked the lobster salad rolls, and I did make sure there would be no mayo - but I think this was a bit much. Too much butter. Too many toppings. The flavor wasn't amazing. My dad really liked the perch. So much that he didn't let me try it. Lol but it looked good! The fried okra was solid. Kinda hard to mess that up, so no complaints there. Same thing with the fish tacos as the lobster roll. They're very busy. I like tasting my food - not piling the toppings on so things get lost. So, I scraped pretty much everything off. The fish was good! I got my mom the fried oysters. No complaints. Her meal came with two sides, so I got greens and Mac and cheese. I didnt try the Mac, but they said the greens were top tier. They had a nice flavor, but they're spicy - so avoid them if you can't deal with a lot of spice - probably red pepper. They threw in a crab cake for free and I thought that was really sweet of them. I didn't like the way it looked on the inside, so I only nibbled at it. Definitely not what this Maryland girl is used to... the winner is still Commisson Row on crab cakes in Indy so far. Anyway! Cute little tucked away spot, small parking lot, but spacious inside. Quite a few tables and chairs and fresh seafood in the cases. I'd go again and try some different things based on other reviews.
