Was about knocked off my feet by the food I got here. I'm probably not going to do justice to the place, but I'll try. First of all, it's a restaurant at a golf course, but do NOT be fooled into thinking hotdogs and burgers with a bag of chips. No no no, my friends, someone here knows how to cook. They also know how to hire and provide service because the place is usually quite busy with specials on some nights where you get a free bottle of wine with dinner for two. Pasta, seafood, they have a nice menu that's not distracting at all. The first time I ordered anything from the 11th Green was takeout Fish&Chips, and it was as good as any I've had anywhere for 40 years. It's been game on ever since and I've sent a dozen people here. Can't wait to have dinner there again! Super friendly and accommodating in a room that hums with satisfaction and conversation. Not fancy dress, think golf course attire, but I don't think they would throw you out for jeans. Do it!! read more

Great menu, excellent food on regular basis...true family business as the owner, his wife, son, and daughter are a mainstay. Must try the stuffies....to die for. Pros: beer is cheap, Sean the server was good. Cons: pretty much everything else. Drinks: lemon drop and mai tai were almost entirely fruit juice. Food: potato leek soup: lumpy and odd tasting. Chef should check out Julia Childs recipe; potatoes leeks broth or water salt and pepper. Not sure how you can mess up this soup. But they did. And it was cold. Beef risotto: beef not bad, cooked properly. Risotto was an enormous pile of very heavy gloop. Taste was ok, lots of mushrooms but the consistency turned me off. Stuffed cordon blue: the chicken was either very old or was reheated or something. It had the oddest consistency. We left a lot on the plates to go back to the kitchen. Atmosphere: they need a dehumidifier, the place smelled very musty. The kitchen should turn down the 80's rock, it was competing against Jeopardy. I don't like to post poor reviews, but we went here looking at 3.5 stars on yelp. Someone must be padding the reviews. This is probably a great place to get a beer after a round of golf, the course looks lovely. I, personally would skip dinner. read more

What a great experience we had last Friday night. We went into the 11th green around six with four adults and two children.The waitress informed us that they were very busy and It would be a half hour before we could order. She offered to get us drinks and place the children's order. It turns out, she claimed, she wasn't a waitress, just a bookkeeper, just the owner. Kate was a hoot! She offered us her and her husband's dinners since they were prepared and they weren't going to have time to eat. So we did, the muscles were amazing and so was the beef dish. We continued to have a very entertaining and delicious dinner. We were here a couple times before but will definitely make it more frequently. Thanks Kate for a memorable evening. read more

Discovered this gem last week when looking for fish & chips during Lent. Went back again today for another helping. Today they offered mini muffins (free) with the bread. The muffins tasted like Thanksgiving! I think this was the chef expressing himself, and not a regular part of their bread plate. The bread they do put out is flavorful, and could ruin your appetite as you won't be able to resist it. The fish was mild which I like. Chowder is not my thing, and my wife prefers Manhattan chowder, but she still liked their savory broth chowder with big potato chunks. Our teenage daughter thoroughly enjoyed the chowder. The restaurant is about what you would expect in a small town golf course operation. Nothing fancy, but adequate. The only potential issue we could see was the waitress appeared to be on her own. She really hustled so it wasn't a problem for us. Last week they were much busier, and the only delay was when it was time to get our check. Not bad for a one-woman waitress staff, but if they get super busy it could be an issue. It's possible they have other staff coming in later. I'm guessing it is a family run business with the hostess being the owner. She was friendly and warmly greeted us when we came in. read more

Come here if you are looking for a delicious meal AND friendly service! I stopped here for lunch today with my daughter and we both loved it. There were so many choices. We started with the coconut shrimp -soooo good! For lunch we both ordered the grilled portobello mushroom. Portobello mushroom, spinach, fire roasted red peppers and Gorgonzola on a baguette. The presentation was from Gourmet magazine. It is huge, at first I was thinking we should have split one. It comes with their yummy hand cut river fries and a real pickle. Added bonus - they bring malt vinegar to the table. Glad we each got our own sandwich, though, we finished everything! I don't live close by, but I will come back anytime I find myself in the area. I bet the dinners are fabulous. Service was top notch. Friendly greeting and our choice where we wanted to sit. Dining room was so clean! Waiter was the owner's son, his sister is the head chef. The man working the kitchen was also super friendly, came out and was helping people at the bar area. Love a family business, people who obviously love what they do. read more

My husband & I have loved this place for years. The food is fantastic, the prices are more than reasonable as are the portions. We have never been disappointed. This family run endeavor knows how to please!! Their banquet room, which seats up to 125 people was the site of our daughter's bridal shower today, and it was all done to perfection.
