We got at least 5 quotes from electricians before selecting Evivie, and wow are we glad we did! Our criteria was that we required an electrician who insisted on going through the proper permitting process, and had all the appropriate licenses and insurance for doing this type of work. Ideally, we also wanted someone who specialized in charger installations. Finally, we wanted someone who demonstrated strong follow up and communication skills, took our questions seriously, and answered them appropriately, and had reasonable prices. We found all that and more. Although one of our quotes was a little bit cheaper, they didn't come close to the professionalism of this company. From the start, when we requested information, we were led through a very easy, but detailed estimation tool that included a satellite view of our house, which allowed us to specify exactly where our breaker box was, and where we wanted, the charger installed, leaving no questions about the estimate. We took some pictures of our electrical panel, and provided a few details about exactly what we wanted to do in their simple and well constructed web form. They followed up almost instantly. When the project looked good, they sent someone to the house to do some load calculations and prepare the permit paperwork for us. They offered to help us acquire a charger, and gave us some discount codes that we could use, as well as offering to sell us a charger at their cost. The project was overseen by a Master Electrician they have on staff. This is not a casual term, it is a level of training and certification that very few people have, and most companies don't have such an expert resource available to them. Our electrical panel was almost full, but their master electrician came up with a solution that saved us many thousands of dollars from having to extend or replace it. Once the permitting process was complete, they scheduled us within a few days, and completed the installation without a hitch. They offered to help set up the app and teach us how to use the equipment, but everything was so simple, it really wasn't necessary. Perhaps most satisfying was the level of communication that was maintained throughout the entire project. They have a project manager on staff that you speak with when you are getting quotes or chocking a contractor, and once you've selected them, he remains in contact with you to help you iron out all the details of your project. He alerted us Right on time when the electrician was coming to our house, and followed up quickly with instructions about completing the inspection and invoicing. We never had to pick up the phone to nag them about anything, they were always one step ahead of the game. Our job site was left clean and our charger is working perfectly.
