I have been a fan of Acupuncture ever since I was introduced to it by a colleague and it fixed my shoulder pain quickly. Laurel is one of the best practitioners I have come across. She is caring, pays a lot of attention to patient's problems, and works on those with her methodological approach that shows her strong fundamentals in the field. She is nice, easy to go along with and is always up for a knowledgeable discussion no matter how busy or stressful her own schedule is. Any health practitioner should have patient's health at top priority but I think in today's "fast" world, she is one of the few that can truly manage to make it top priority and be effective about it. The front desk staff, particularly Melissa is nice and always helpful. Never had any problems with scheduling, payments etc., and got accommodated several times despite their tight schedule. The office has overall great environment although it can get little noisy at times from neighboring offices (nothing a higher volume on the tranquil music can't fix). Highly recommend! read more

Nice facility and I highly recommend Angie. I am sure the other practitioners are just as good. I originally started going to Angie a few years back for pre and post shoulder surgery and know the treatment made a difference in my recovery. Most recently I started seeing Angie at Evoke post knee surgery and the treatments are helping my recovery. Recently I went to see Angie Pariseau here at Evoke Acupuncture. I had bells palsy at the time and having had it one time before, was aware that acupuncture, as well as acupuncture with electric stimulation, is a great treatment to help stimulate the nerves and prevent it from lingering longer. She also recommended tea to drink from the Chinese Herbalist. I believe in total I had 10-12 acupuncture sessions and need to schedule my next visit, although my bells palsy is gone now. Ms. Pariseau' s kind gentle nature was quite a relief from the anxiety and panic I was feeling inside. She has treated several patients before with Bells Palsy and is a pro. From the soothing music to the warm heat lamp, the faint mist of essential oils, to her light touch with needles, Ms. Pariseau created an inviting environment necessary to relaxation. Evoke acupuncture is a great place to go for acupuncture! I have been seeing Olivia and Angie there to help with issues I have had during my pregnancy such as nausea, getting back to sleep after I wake up to use the bathroom at night, and foot pain (pinched nerve). The weekly treatments I have received have been very helpful. They have several practitioners there who are very knowledgeable about and experienced with working with women who are pregnant. I've always been curious about acupuncture, but more nervous than curious! Upon walking into Evoke Acupuncture my nerves started to fade and I was welcomed with a smile and great sense of relaxation, like a little spa sanctuary tucked in the middle of professional offices. The music was soft and tranquil and I began to actually feel excited for my first treatment, instead of worried! Before we even began my session Angie went over my medical history, asked about my lifestyle and any pass injuries. She was incredibly genuine and truly cared about my concerns. I have been seeing Neda and Stephanie for the last several weeks as I go through Infertility. How amazing are these ladies! Words cannot even explain how I feel about them! I've been seeing Angie for a few months to help with post concussion symptoms. I am new to acupuncture and had been seeing someone else briefly before Angie. Started acupuncture earlier this year for sciatica, then for acid reflux. Angie, my practitioner, is kind and patient and caring, and very knowledgeable regarding herbal remedies as well as acupuncture. She is also a bit of a miracle worker - I had been dealing with blocked tear ducts for several months, treating it with steroid eyedrops, compresses, lid scrubs, all to very little improvement. Then I had one - one! - session where Angie treated my eyes, and 48 hours later the tear ducts had opened! Can't wait to tell my optometrist the good news so he can add referrals to his arsenal of treatments. I saw Neda for the first time when I had been going through fertility treatment. I felt it wasn't working and somebody suggested acupuncture. I started to see Neda regularly while continuing treatment with western medicine. I started to learn more about my body from her.  At some point my doctor wanted to move to a more aggressive approach. Neda suggested to take a break from it and try Chinese herbs instead. At first I wasn't sure about it; I felt like my clock is ticking and I couldn't take a break, but I am glad I did. The third month of taking the herbs I got pregnant. When I was ready to try to get pregnant a second time I went straight to Neda. And again after the third month of taking Chinese herbs and acupuncture I got pregnant. I saw Olivia for help with infertility last year. I was nervous about trying acupuncture and I was pretty skeptical. After the first session I felt significantly better about everything. Olivia is great at what she does. Her positive energy is contagious. After 2 miscarriages and hearing terrible statistics from fertility doctors, Olivia put things in perspective for me. She never doubted I would get pregnant. She helped me along by taking diligent notes about my cycle and offered great advice every step of the way. I see both Neda and Angie and they are both wonderful. I really appreciate their soothing and calming manner. Finding an acupuncturist or really anyone who works on your body is trial and error. Angie and Neda are the only acupuncturists that have made treatment completely relaxing and stress free. I'm so glad I was able to find two great practitioners in one location. Also, the setup of Evoke is really lovely. I like that it's not too big or cramped and the little touches of nature everywhere. The rooms are peaceful and feel very private and safe. This is the only office I've ever been to that doesn't use a disposable paper hygienic bed cover, they use a disposable cloth hygienic bed cover and it's so much nicer! I always look forward to coming back PS: Their cancellation policy is 100% strict. This isn't a negative reflection on the service or the practitioners, just something I'd want to know as a fellow Yelper. If you have a busy schedule and lots of last minute conflicts, be wary of cancelling because, regardless the reason, they will charge a fee. My appointment was @2pm and I called @9am needing to reschedule, they wouldn't budge and I was charged a $42.50 fee. Not only is she an extremely knowledgeable practitioner, but she also really cares, like a best friend. From the moment I met her, I felt this genuine care to help me get better. She asked me to talk about all my problems, unlike any doctor or therapist or practitioner I have ever spoken with. I felt comfortable speaking to her about everything. She has been working on me for only several weeks but I am already seeing drastic improvements. The space is very comfortable and inviting. There is always calming music, she closes the blinds during treatment and puts heating lamps on areas where I get cold. I get so comfortable, I fall asleep every time. I first starting seeing Angie over five years ago on the 9th day after I contracted Bell's Palsy. Bell's Palsy is a virus that mimics a stroke, but only affects one side of the face and throat. There was very little improvement during those 9 days. Angie began an aggressive treatment of acupuncture and herbs. By the 21st day most people could not tell I had Bell's Palsy. By two months, I could not tell I had had Bell's Palsy. I would highly recommend Angie for acupuncture. In the last five years, I see her regularly. She has dealt with managing the pain involved in knees with no cartilage and lower back with bulging discs. I get headaches and migraines as well as knots in my upper back, shoulders, neck, and the back of my head from stress. A friend of mine recommended acupuncture to help reduce the pain. I went on Yelp and found Evoke down the street from my house with really good reviews. The receptionist on the phone was super helpful and told me which practitioner specialize in my problem. She answered all of my questions and was able to get me in for an appointment quickly. I have had two sessions now with Angie and she is amazing! She is very knowledgable, caring, and very effective. Between the acupuncture and the cupping she has reduced my headaches, pain, and knots by about 80%. I'm guessing it would be 100% if I had time to go more often. Angie is extremely helpful any answering all of my questions both times we met and you can tell she really cares. The office setting is super clean and has a spa like relaxing feel to it.
