I am updating my review of this company because I didn't like being cornered into doing a positive review at the time "the discount" was given. I would like to say that I this company has mastered the YELP business model. The way they execute business is quite simple: they oversell you on the phone and when you first meet them to move your stuff....for me, it was a $525 quote....which I knew at the time to be absurd based on the fact the same moving company had moved my possessions into storage. The same company - Excalibur - was now moving them out of storage and into a new apartment. Thus, if the bill was $350 originally, how in the hell could they be estimating $175 over that amount, especially when they have a concrete receipt of the time spent before, coming in at $350? The answer is simple. The company knows full well that they won't need $525 worth of moving time. This is what I call the YELP SET UP. Now, stuff is packed, the team moves efficiently, and they give you a heads up they're on their way to your new place. You look at your watch. Wow, they are making GREAT TIME. Your gratitude starts to grow inside you. Then, they move even more quickly unloading it. And before you know it, the job is complete and it's pay up time! You wait to see if they try and snake you, milking the clock. But surprise, surprise, they don't do any such thing! Instead, they give you a bill for $375....you are overflowing with gratitude and appreciation. They ask for a review right then and you don't think twice to oblige. Only later do you realize that they never intended to charge you $525....but that they have tons of experience moving, and the timing involved, and knew ALL ALONG that they would be closer to $375. But the genius of it is, and it is NOTHING LESS THAN GENIUS, if they quote you $375 and then charge you $375....you feel "meh" with gratitude....maybe your pleased but your are not ELATED, like when they've quoted you $525 and then charged you $375. This is what I call the moment of YELP PAY OFF. They aren't "buying reviews" perse, but it comes close. Something I really really REALLY do not like is how they expect you to write a review right then and there. To me, that is more unethical than before, when you could write one, you could not. That screams WE GAVE YOU A DISCOUNT NOW GIVE US OUR YELP BADGE. That's not the way an ethical yelper or yelpee should behave. And that is why I am changing my review. I am also changing my review because my $1200 TV got damaged in the move and I never heard from anyone as to why this happened, how this happened, and what they are going to do about it. I filled out a claim form and, frankly, let them off real easy.....I should have screamed for a new TV but I'm learning to pick my battles in life. Instead, I asked for $190, which is BEYOND FAIR for them destroying the bezel of my high end 55" TV. As for the backstory on the damage, all I can say is my TV was wrapped, personally by me in tons and tons of bubble and secure packaging, and put in storage....when it arrived, Zack and his guys brought it in WITH NO BOX and said nothing about it. Only a few days later did I discover the damaged corner, which showed it had clearly been dropped. This review is now 2 stars because no one ever gave me an answer as to how my TV got damaged (after reporting it)....no employee ever pointed the damage out to me on delivery....no employee offered an explanation as to why it arrived OUTSIDE OF THE BOX IT WAS WRAPPED IN.... I do not post speculation or accusations on yelp....I only grade businesses on facts.....the facts are that my TV was damaged in transit....i am working with their claims department over a $190 part....but deep down I am still upset about the lack of integrity shown by the employees....one of their guys damaged my TV and NONE OF THEM OR MANAGEMENT CAME TO ME TO DISCUSS WHAT HAPPENED and what they are doing about it. Don't think because you see 5 star reviews this shit couldn't happen to you. It can. If they come through on the $190 I will update my review from 2 to 3 stars. It's rare to find a product or service that completely surpasses your expectations, but Excalibur managed to do just that. I had never used a moving company before because -- despite owning a ton of crap -- I never felt like I had a sufficient amount of crap to warrant the hiring of movers. However, faced with my second major move in as many years, I was starting to feel a bit like Sisyphus; only instead of a big-ass rock, I was lugging the same pieces of poorly assembled flat-pack furniture up and down stairs over and over again. More out of exasperation than any perceived value, I reluctantly decided to hire movers. I had seen neighbors using Excalibur in the past and was impressed with how thorough they were in preparing and packing items. Watching them work was like watching someone play the best game of Tetris ever. Everything, wrapped in foam, cardboard, and tape, tucked neatly into perfect slots. Naturally, I figured they must have cost a fortune. (SPOILER ALERT: They were actually very reasonably priced) So, basing my decision off of precisely one past experience and their Yelp rating, I requested an estimate from their website. This revealed one of my favorite parts of the Excalibur experience. The website suggested I would get a response back within the next day or so; imagine my surprise when, 30 minutes later, I had not only an e-mailed quote in my inbox but also a missed call and voicemail with the same. I generally consider myself pretty proactive about getting things done, but Excalibur was out aggro-ing me in this department (and I loved it). Even though the estimate and eventual agreement signing was all done over the Web (because who really wants to talk to another human anymore??), Excalibur agents checked in with me via telephone and e-mail at every step of the way about costs, scheduling, planning. etc. It might have been borderline annoying had it been mandatory, but, because they were mostly courtesy calls (that could be ignored if desired), it was a very nice touch. On the day of the move, a squad of three movers (lead by the affable and capable Zack) showed up and quickly surveyed my place and things. I had given Excalibur a summary of items that would be moved, but cautioned them that the list was a bit fuzzy (due, in part, to me moving small items piecemeal, myself, in advance). I expected them to formulate a plan of action before jumping into the actual haulin'. Imagine my delighted surprise when one of the movers deftly grabbed and wrapped an entire dresser before delicately hoisting it and carrying it out to the truck. Like, maybe a full minute, maximum, had passed between "Hi, come on in," and [ sound of a person Jason Bourning an armoire ]. This was clearly some next level action I was looking at. For the next 45(!) minutes, I stood in the center of my place, mouth agape, as this trio wrapped, padded, packed, and stored my stuff. It's a weird feeling, because I've been doing this by myself for so long, but Zack & Co. were SO MUCH BETTER and faster than I could have ever been. Clearly, I made the right decision. The only bit of saltiness I have is directed toward myself for not having used Excalibur in the past. When I moved myself previously (using U-Haul or other truck rentals), I ultimately ended up spending three times as much time and money, all for the privilege of wrecking my back. Excalibur is definitely the better way to go. TL;DR: Excalibur -- Zack's squad specifically -- was wonderful and I will definitely be using them again in the future. read more

I can't recommend Excalibur moving company more. From start to finish, they were extremely responsive, communicative and professional. I asked for a quote and I received a personal phone call walking me through rates. They offered to do a free pre-move home check to give a realistic quote of what the move would cost. They accommodated my work schedule by sending someone at to come before work for the 5 minute walk through. The representative was very kind and efficient. I booked by putting down a $50 deposit. I told them I was concerned about the "double drive" time cost because I was moving over 20 miles away. The man I spoke with assured me that the workers would arrive between 7 and 9 am to make sure to be done and on the way before traffic started and that I would get a call that morning telling me when my workers would arrive. Sure enough, at 7:05 on moving day I received a call letting me know my workers would arrive at 730 and they did!! I had three workers - Maurice, Dimas and Moreno - help me move my two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with several pieces of furniture and over 20 boxes. They arrived and IMMEDIATELY got to work and were done packing up my apartment (including wrapping furniture and breaking down my bed) in UNDER TWO HOURS. They were extremely efficient and SO SO SO nice. They asked me questions if they were unsure about anything to make sure everything was done exactly as I wanted. They then arrived at my new home, a two floor home with 4 bedrooms, and again wasted zero time in getting all of my boxes and furniture into the new home and rebuilt. Again, they asked clarifying questions where necessary and DID NOT STOP for anything. They were HUSTLING the entire time. This was so appreciated because you are charged by the hour and they did not milk that at all. Also, they provided 8 wardrobe boxes and two tv boxes for free which was really nice not to have to pack up all my hanging clothes (which they rehung in the new house as well!) Finally, they took EXTRA care to make sure not to dirty up the house. They seran wrapped the floor, stairs and hallways so that they were never walking on my new carpet with their shoes, and no marks would be left by the dolly. In all, they completed my entire move (including rebuilding my furniture perfectly!!!) and including the drive time in 4 freaking hours, without damaging any walls or leaving any trace behind. I literally thought it would take no less than 6 hours minimum but they really worked extremely hard to get this done, and get it done well. Huge thank you to Mauricio, Dimas and Moreno for their hard work and Excalibur for making the process so seamless. Overall, I couldn't recommend this company more and the rates are extremely reasonable -- I didn't find a cheaper option for my move. read more

This moving company was recommended to me by two different clients of mine for being reliable, affordable and friendly, with over the top customer service. I can honestly say, they did not disappoint. My boyfriend and I had a sort of untraditional move and on very short notice. We found out in the middle of the month that we had been approved to take a large apartment in our existing building, where we both already lived SEPARATELY! We need to move two downstairs Apts into 1 upstairs apartment in 1 day. So needless to say, booking a company within a few days of finding out, became a goal immediately. The phone operators I talked to were friendly, detailed and explained all their rates. They worked with me to find the best deal for our situation and had me on their schedule in exactly one week. They called and confirmed, went over moving details again, gave me all of their "fine print" again and addressed whether I had any questions. (Rain was a possibility on the day of our move so, yeah, I was concerned and had questions) Then the day came and I was a nervous wreck. I hate moving. I hadn't had a ton of time to prepare the way you should for a move but the company sent three guys, even though I had opted for two. I spoke to the Nicolas first, who was polite and helpful. He went over all the paperwork with me and again, helped me find the best deal for my money. I opted then on site to use all three guys so we could get all the work done in the 3 hour minimum. Nicolas, Ulises and Tony were so amazing on my move. They went back and forth between mine and my bf's apartment. They focused and moved everything I (nervous wreckedly) micromanaged them to do without complaint, until I realized they had it all under control and I could focus on other stuff. I could not have imagined a smoother experience. At the end, it turned out all the large items and boxes I needed them to move were taken care of with time to spare and so they helped me get to work on the little things I planned on moving myself. They help me position furniture and the reposition furniture and never did anything but smile. No damage was done to anything and they handled everything carefully. This company really impressed me. The moving team of guys really impressed us. My Bf wasn't really convinced at the start of this moving saga that we needed movers at all but I know even he was made a believer by watching them work. (I'm sure his not aching back thanked them too.) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I will definitely be giving this company's name to anyone seeking a credible company for their moving needs! Updated to 5 Stars: Wow, within 30 minutes of posting my review, Nick (the estimator) gave me a call and profusely apologized for the misunderstanding. He then promptly offered to refund me for the time not honored by the movers! He even offered to send an estimator out to cover for the broken glass in the picture frame that was the only item damaged. It really isn't necessary, as the picture wasn't anything expensive, so I declined. Regardless, these guys clearly care about their reputation and they want to do right by their customers. I really appreciate the refund as it was a very big move. Aside from the lost time (and having to deal with all of the leftover packaging myself), I was pretty satisfied about how everything else turned out - I even tipped Omar and his crew pretty well after each day. I believe in treating people fairly, so I'm glad that I was treated fairly by Excalibur as well. Original Review: This 2 star rating is because I felt a little cheated out of the agreed upon conditions based upon the price. The movers themselves were pretty good and the only thing that broke was glass from a small frame. Nick came out to my house to do a quote and gave me a pretty competitive "not to exceed" price compared to another company. He actually beat it pretty good and even threw in packing materials and estimated how much time it would take, so I wound up going with Excalibur. On the day of my pack, they sent out 4 guys to pack everything - I mean absolutely everything in my house. Omar and his team worked pretty hard and by the end, Omar was concerned that they used more material than Nick originally estimated. The next day, Omar warned me that he might not spend the entire 9 hours for the move (including 2 hours drive time), but that it was alright because that made up for the extra materials that was used the day before. Like I wrote earlier, the move was pretty good and the guys were efficient. Omar and his team were great, but at the end of the move, they had at least an hour and a half left of extra work they could have done. Up to this point, they reassembled the furniture and moved them where we asked them to put it. Even though they had time left on the clock, Omar said we would have to pay extra for the guys to stay since they used the extra materials the day before... We refused the extra time, and they left. So basically, we had an agreed upon price, but the time was not fully honored due to extra packing materials. It doesn't seem quite fair to me. I used Excalibur for the second time when I moved from Irvine to Rancho Santa Margarita last month. They were my first choice, especially after the less than stellar experience I had when I moved from Huntington Beach to Irvine in 2016 with another company (because Excalibur was not available to do that move). I'll get the bad news out of the way; the movers tripped on my stairs at the new place while moving a piece of furniture, resulting in a hole in the wall. So why five stars? Because EVERYTHING ELSE about this second experience was nothing short of AMAZING. And I'm not easy to please. At all. The movers arrived on time, just like before, and got right to work. I never saw a crew work so fast, both to get everything out of my old one-bedroom upper level condo in Irvine, then getting everything set up in my new townhome in Rancho Santa Margarita. At the same time, everything was carefully packaged. I was especially concerned about my work equipment such as my double monitors and docking station, but those items arrived without a scratch. The rep who took my initial call was transparent as well; I knew exactly what to expect as far as pricing and timelines, and I did not feel as if anything was hidden from me. They were very patient as well when I asked for a couple changes in item placement at the new place, and made sure that my television and stand were set up with plenty of time to spare before my scheduled Internet installation later in the day. Only once everything was set up to my satisfaction did the movers finalize the job and leave. Now back to the hole in the wall. The movers showed me what happened immediately and I could tell that the crew felt really bad as they wouldn't stop apologizing. They explained what would happen next (that they would have me note the damage in the final report) and instructed me to call the office the following Monday. That second step turned out to be unnecessary as the office called me that Monday to ask how the move went, and when I explained what happened, I was immediately transferred to Veronica who handles claims. Veronica followed up as soon as she was able to and let me know that I would be contacted to schedule the repair, and I was. The repair was on my calendar for the following week (mostly due to my hectic work schedule), and the company that handled the repair was extremely professional as well. In short, if I find myself having to move again, Excalibur will once again be first on my list. read more

Excalibur is a fantastic moving company. I had to reschedule our moving date twice, but Bianca and Tyler were very gracious and accommodating our changes. The foreman for our job, Oscar R and his crew, Roberto, Bayvon, and Ernesto arrived during the window of time that was provided to us ahead of time. The crew called us to let us know they would be to the house in 45 minutes. When they arrived, they disassembled our furniture, wrapped all of it in blankets and then secured it in plastic wrapping and tape. Anything I asked or Oscar to take care of, he was happy to do it. The other guys were just as willing to help with anything we asked with great attitudes. They were very careful moving items out of the house and I only saw one bump against our fence when they were moving a patio chair. When they brought the furniture to the new house, we bought them pizza and they took a short lunch break and then got back to work unpacking everything quickly and carefully. They were careful not to bring any moving dollies or carts into the house as it has new flooring. They hand lifted everything from the outside into the house which was nice as I was concerned about threshold or floor damage. We had new paint, and it was a challenge for them getting some of the heavy items up the stair case, and there was only some minor scuffs to the walls which I was able to clean off. Not a big deal as this is just a part of moving. The only very minor gripe I had was that they left the empty rolls of tape and packing wrap tubes on the floors of the old house. It wasn't a huge thing, but would have been nice if they had picked those up before we left. Since there are so many things that can go wrong during a move, and this was the only complaint I had, that's almost near 100% perfect on the job they did. The entire job took 6 hours and did not break or damage a thing. We packed most everything ourselves into boxes beforehand, so this cut down a lot on the time. I couldn't be more pleased with hiring Excalibur to do our move. I found Excalibur on Angie's List, and read all of the positive reviews, got some quotes from some other companies, and decided on these guys which I am so glad I did. After talking to several moving companies and comparing rates, I ended up choosing Excalibur. Ricardo came by the same day I called them to inquire about a rate. He was very professional and polite. I asked him why would I choose their company over these other companies who's price rates were better. He went on to tell me that the reviews speak for itself and that he had been with the company for some time. I didn't particularly agree about the reviews after being told that some companies give you discounts for writing a five star review. But I went ahead and decided to use them, because 1, when I called they were very polite and listened to my needs, and 2, Ricardo again was very professional and represented the company well. He called me a couple days before the move to confirm that they would be here early in morning to get me moved. The morning of my move, Omar called me to let me know they were on their way. When they arrived, Omar introduced himself and we went over the paperwork and what was agreed on. Along with Omar, were Giovanni, Oscar and Adiel. They worked their butts off and worked fast yet very careful with my things. I had bought my own seran wrap and bubble wrap and they were fine with using that and didn't pressure me into having to use their supplies. They got everything packed and loaded on the truck. They followed me to my new home and I had lunch there waiting for them ( I had ordered food for them after seeing how hard they were working and again very fast). We got there and I practically had to tell them to please take a lunch break. After eating, it was back to getting my things off the truck and in the right rooms. Again they were very fast but yet gentle with my belongings. This team of 4 was so good, I couldn't have asked for a better crew!!! I am leasing for a year until I get my new home built, and you better believe I will be using Excalibur again and hopefully can request the same crew!!! Thanks Excalibur for making this move smooth and non stressful. I've already told my agent about you guys and told her to refer you to her clients who are buying and selling their homes!!! After shopping around for a moving company to help with my local move, I decided to take a friend's recommendation to hire Excalibur. Their cost was a little lower than other companies, and my friend had a good experience with them for her move. The 3 very capable guys (Roberto, Cris and Alex) arrived on-time and with the right-sized truck. They got started immediately and had all of the necessary equipment: dollies, blankets, plastic wrap, and even a big rolling bin/box that held all of my misc. items that can't be boxed, so we didn't have to waste time carrying things out one-by-one (surfboard, ironing board, golf clubs, etc). They also provided (loaned) me the use of plenty of wardrobe boxes to put my clothes in for the move. I was moving out of a 3rd floor condo so an elevator was involved, and I gotta tell you that these guys had the "choreography" of the elevator down to a science! They took great care of my fragile belongings- especially my beloved 65-inch flat screen which they boxed, wrapped and were VERY careful with. There was a $25 extra charge for boxing the TV, but well worth it for piece of mind. Everything else was well-blanketed, taped and wrapped. The move took only the minimum of 3 hours, and they were fair about pricing and the time truly involved in the move, and there were no hidden fees other than the $25 to secure my TV. These guys hustled and worked very hard, and very cautiously. I was moved in before I even realized it! I gave them each a $20 tip, because they deserved it! No scratches or damage on anything, and they did not lolligag around. Pure business with these guys; honest hard work was all I saw. I will definitely be a repeat customer for my next move. In case you are wondering, I personally boxed all of my belongings before the move, so everything was ready to go when they arrived; with the exception of them wrapping furniture and other fragile items. I would recommend that you pack everything you can yourself. It will save you a significant amount of money. Then all you have to do is stay out of their way! :-) read more

We recently had to move from our large home and due to unforeseen events, were not able to pack up our belongings ourselves. We needed to pack up the entire house and move the same day. I had never heard of Excalibur Movers, and found them online, so was a little wary. Speaking to Edgar on the phone, he gave me the rundown of what to expect, and a rough estimate of the costs. He said we would need eight men over a 12 hour period and I anticipated it would be very expensive. They arrived a few days later and worked like magic to get everything packed up correctly. Every piece of fine bone china, crystal goblet, artwork, the piano, was wrapped individually and snugly packed. Omar, the head man, gave me an estimate that was somewhat more than Edgar had estimated, as the house was larger than they expected. He said at the end of the day, he would reevaluate depending on how fast they were able to finish. Sure enough, at the end of the day, the job came in under the original estimate. That made us very happy of course. It took us several weeks to unpack, and not one thing was chipped or broken. It was a pleasure to work with Omar and his men even though moving is not exactly fun. We were all amazed watching the eight guys work hard, some carrying huge boxes on their backs as they walked up a long flight of stairs in the new place. Everyone was polite, and very professional; I cannot think of enough good things to say. From Edgar on the phone to Omar and all the workers sweating on a hot day, everybody was nice and conscientious and it made a difficult situation easier. I would definitely recommend them to the most particular kind of person, and plan to hire them in the future if we move again. One more thing, despite our trying to keep our dogs out of the way, sometimes they would plop themselves down right by the front door, and the men did not complain, they just worked around them. Update #2: Excalibur has now called me 2 times repeatedly asking to explain the situation with me. I've posted a screenshot of the email. They are now trying to say that it is the workers that are independently asking for reviews and nothing to do with the company. It is very shameful they are now blaming the workers. Completely unethical. Update: Excalibur called me and told me that they do not pay for reviews since that's against Yelp's policy but instead offer a referral bonus for reviews. Semantics. Offering a significant financial discount at the time of payment for a 5 star review is paying for reviews. This review is solely for the conduct of the Excalibur office and their unethical business practices. The actual movers themselves were top notch and excellent. I used Excalibur movers a few months ago and although the service was top notch, they had a paper print out they hand you after the move is completed (shown in my photos) that offers $35 off the move for each person that writes a Yelp review on the spot. In my original high Yelp review I included this. To my surprise, I then received over 10 phone calls from the movers who said that their boss is going to fire them unless I take out the line in my review about Excalibur offering a discount for writing a review. I didn't feel comfortable removing this but then one of the mover's showed up at my house with his wife and young child crying, saying that he would lose his job unless I took out the line about the discount offered. Because I emphasized with the mover, and could tell he was being truthful, I took out this part of my review. However, something has to be done because Excalibur, the back end office people, are not being ethical. I would bet my entire paycheck that if you asked any other Yelp reviewer if they received a discount for a positive, highly edited Yelp review, the would concur. Take your business elsewhere, where the reviews are legitimate and not rooted in monetary gain. read more

I had a choice between Excalibur and Prodigy (which my sister used when they moved to a house they bought in Porter Ranch) and I decided on Excalibur after reading the reviews in Yelp and because Excalibur was listed in the www.protectyourmove.gov Website. I called them up and asked for a survey and Nick dropped by the house and went thru all the stuff in all the rooms in the house that we have to move. 3 Rooms, beds, wooden closets, china cabinets, tables, refs, TVs etc. Nick quoted me a price and said that they will make 2 trips with the truck and I went with it. Our total house move was scheduled for November 8, 2013 and the guys came in early that morning, around 8AM. The moving crew was composed of 4 people: Shalob, Carlos, Dimas and Luis. These guys were good! One moment, my garage was full of our stuff - cartons, boxes, furniture etc. and then the next moment the garage was clear. The guys moved like clockwork and were careful as well. They will call my attention before moving an item that had previous scratches and they did not miss anything. By the end of the day, we were moved! All we had to do next was just to unpack our stuff in our new house. Some things to keep in mind: 1. Nick will ask you if you need help with packing. We packed everything and everything that was boxed was moved so we told Nick we will pack everything. But if you need help Nick can also add the packing service to your move. 2. We asked that they pack and move our ornate mirror in the living room (negotiated as part of the move price). 3. Do not put clothes in boxes. Excalibur has wardrobe boxes you can use to dump all of your clothes in (include the hangers with the clothes). Shalob and his crew: Carlos, Dimas and Luis are the best! Make sure you ask for them by name if you need help with moving. All of our stuff were moved, nothing broke and we didn't lose anything!! Thanks Guys! read more

Top 3 stressors in life: 1) death of a loved one 2) divorce 3) moving! Because of the amount of stress a move can cause, you want to choose your movers very carefully. I moved. Again. I must be one of their most loyal customers at this point. The thing that makes all of this moving possible, again and again, is knowing that I can count on Excalibur. I told Ricardo I wanted the move done in one day and I only gave them three days notice. That meant more men, but it was important to me to get it over with, rather than dragging it out. They got it done. We started at 8:30am and went until around 8pm. The team of 10 led by Oscar showed up with two huge trucks and got straight to work. A man was stationed in every room, packing up the house. We packed up in about five hours, headed to the new house, took a short break for lunch and started getting everything in order. Oscar remembered things about my last move that I had completely forgotten - such as the fact that two of our planters have no bottoms and needed to be completely replanted. Thank goodness he was so organized and on top of everything. They took a huge media screen off the wall for us perfectly! Not an easy thing to do. At the new house, I wanted all these shutters taken down and within minutes they were off and being nicely wrapped and stored. We have a few very heavy pieces. An outdoor marble table that must way a ton... A marble dinning table, a massive bed... but none of these items were a problem. They handled the move like a puzzle that they knew by heart. You can tell Excalibur treats their employees well. They are not overworked or exhausted. They are true professionals. They take care of your items, as if they were their own. I hope we do not need to move again for a long time, but if we do, I know Excalibur will be there to get me through it! read more

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY - they try to sound SO nice, especially the owner. however, they are a scam and they do not care at all. I never post reviews, but this one is worth it. I had to hire ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY for a ONE bed ONE bath and i had FIVE guys from Excalibur after only thinking i needed 3 tops, which is what they said. Then moving day they magically needed so many other people. This moving company was terrible. I was supposed to pay for 3 men to move my one bedroom and one bath. 600 square foot apartment. They were 6 hours late and the informed me that they needed to reschedule or more time to move or more men. I do not understand how a moving company could need 8-10 hours with more than three men to move a 600-square foot apartment that was already completely boxed up until they broke boxes and dumped everything out of my closets that they were supposed to help me carefully pack with the "included" storage bins and wardrobe boxes. They left my apartment completely trashed and disgusting and I took photos. I found other reviews of them now as well about the terrible service and scams. The foreman I had was the main problem. He continuously tried to get me to sign credit card documents that signed my right away to any charge back on my credit card. I refused to sign because they were not supposed to charge my credit card anything, it was only to hold my reservation. He also tried to get me to sign and initial documents stating that they did not take any items and I checked all parts of their van BEFORE they were even done and did not want me to check the van before signing. They all spoke in Spanish and thought that I did not, however, they were wrong. I understand fluent Spanish which is why I knew they were going to scam me after being very disrespectful. read more
