I am very impressed with Lush & Co Spa! I had the pleasure of having Tina do my nails. She was AMAZING! She listened to exactly what I wanted, didn't try to push me into anything more expensive and did a fantastic job on my nails!!! She also did my eyebrows! Which is HUGE, because I wont let anyone touch my eyebrows. I am very very picky! But she did an amazing job at that as well! I also had two complementary margaritas while I was there (which was a big plus, especially after a long day at work) and they were delicious!! I will definitely be going back to Lush & Co Spa. Only 4 stars because the pedicure was lacking some elbow grease for the massage. But Leo did fantastic on my nails and introduced me to Dip powder which looks fantastic and is way less damage to your nails than shellac or acrylic. I really enjoyed my experience. The drink I got was awesome, the show on TV was a science program which was odd, everything looked nice. I liked my technician, but unfortunately the next day my toe was hurting and red on one side. I was advised by the office to soak my foot in hot water with epsom salt. Now on the 2nd day, I found that it was swelling with pus. So I am soaking it again and am too nervous to return, even though it was my favorite nail salon so far. read more

Not the service I expected for the price. After signing in I sat for an hour waiting for service. During my express mani/shilac pedi, the water overflowed. Tommy and Tony made little effort to clean up the the water. Tony did not place a towel over my lap to protect my clothing while doing my manicure and dripped water/filings all over my lap as he leaned on my leg (rude and lazy) while seated and working on my nails. Once Tony finished my manicure he walked through the water that was on the floor and walked on my shoes, with no apologies. I might add that I expressed my concerns to Tony regarding my nails having gone through some trauma at my previous nail salon; and asked that he be careful when filing my nails. This was not well received. Tony continued while laughing and talking to my pedicture tech (Tommy) and thinned my nails even more. Regarding my shelic pedicure, Tommy was not thorough in removing the deadskin from my feet, nor completing the massage. The shilac is also clumpy, not smooth and hardly shiny. After all of this, I spoked to the manage (female) who listened to my complaints, but made no apologies nor adjustments for the poor service. They also tried to charge me $25 for a 13 express manicure. When I brought this to the receptionists attention at check-out, she stated that it was my responsibility to remind the staff of my chosen service. Funny how I recall doing this several times. My advice to everyone...make it know several times, exactly what you want done and DO look at the price sheet prior to begining your services, so that you know what you are getting and how much you will be charged. It seems that they will add-on if you seem not to be aware. Also, note that the safety of their clients is not a priority. I could easily have slipped and fell in the water that was not cleaned up. Dont come here. They will only do what they wamt, if they think its worth it. This is my second time here, the first they refused to wax to my eyebrows. And this time they refused to do two fake nails for my french manicure saying it would look ugly and show through (my other 8 nails were very long and i wanted the 2 short to match), they then proceeded to chop off all my nails. Im getting married tomorrow and very upset at this point. After they saw how short they made them they told me i should get all fake nails. Why would i want to pay for 10 fake nails when you just told me 2 would be ugly and show through? So upset. Leaving here in tears, nails undone for my wedding tomorrow and not knowing wth to do now. read more

Place is nice and great concept but poor service. Called and made an appointment. When I showed up they kept yelling at me be with you in a moment then I was told to sit. Finally a lady came to take me to a chair with a little bit of cold water in it. I tried plugging my charger in but chair wasn't working so they plugged it into the lady next to me chair, odd. After waiting about 15 mins they finally came to me. I asked for hot water she said because they were so busy the water isn't getting hot any longer. I had to soak my feet in room temp water. Pedi lady was rude and grunted the whole time, mind you my feet are not in bad shape so I'm not sure what she was so irritated about. Mani guy giving me colored powder set was very demanding and even told me pedi lady to be still! I got no foot massage due to that. My mani came out thick and nails are so uneven. Also, I kept telling him I wanted a bit of a point and he kept telling me no that that's not good for me?! I ended up with squared nails and I hate them squared. I had to come home and re shape them myself! Only thing good was the bar and the guy at the bar was the only one there that made it enjoyable. The lady at the front I'm assuming the manager runs around lost the whole time. They need to get their staff trained a little better and not overbook. I will not return. I came in yesterday and was highly disappointed. I went to get a full set of shellac for the first time. My friend and I noticed as soon as we came into the attitude of the manager at the front desk was a little preposterous. We started to ask questions about the samples of colors and the difference between acrylic color powder and shellac. She didn't seem to care much about anything we had to ask or say. As we're looking at the samples a mother and her young daughter come in and suddenly catch all of the attention from the manager. We were then neglected as we're trying to tell the manager exactly what we would like to do with our nails. We were told to go sit down.. we weren't given any menus or offered any drinks. Soon the woman came in assisted us and begin doing my nails. Not once my nails are already on she asked me what color I would like, I show her the yellow nail I had decided on and she told me they didn't carry it. So I begin to look for another color and I decide and then of course they don't carry that either. So at this point I'm like I might as well have got color powder acrylic nails so I could have at least got a color I wanted. It would have been nice to know ahead of time what colors you do have and you do not carry. Before I left I stopped at the desk to speak with the manager to inform her about the situation and let her know it would have been much easier had I known what colors they had and didn't have. All she told me would be yeah well that would be a lot of work for us and I explained to her I understand that but it would be helpful for your customers in situations like this. All she kept telling me was thank you thank you thank you and I left. And I will not be back. read more

As a frequent Yelper.. I look for reviews before I make my decision. So I was encouraged to stop by lush co. Since I had been shopping around for a new nail tech. I booked an appointment for myself and boyfriend for a midweek date night experience. I was super excited upon arrival. As I was led to the back of the building for my pedicure and full set I realized that they would be doing both at the same time, which is completely fine. My boyfriend wanted a man's Mani and Pedi as shown on the menu. Which I requested when I booked our appointment the day before. Mid in our appointment, the front desk staff member came by to ask if he still wanted his mani, he responded "yes". Well, sadly no one ever showed up. Tony who was doing my full set (I requested the best tech available) I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years so I know how it goes. Well, he cut me 2x because he was going wayyyy too fast. I made small convo since that's what we do.. right, well I got nothing. Nonetheless, I can't even describe how my pedi went since I don't even remember having it done. We were done in less than 45 min. So much for relaxation. The bill was so outrageous, we do not mind paying.. But it was definitely not worth it. I will be returning to my long time nail tech. I should preface and say I do agree with the comments about the luxury, the ambience, etc. The wait time was fast. The receptionist was friendly and we were impressed at the fast service. I came with my sister because our normal nail salon was busy, so the speediness was impressive. The drinks were nice, however, our sodas were flat. And honestly, I came in wanting a pedicure, I wasn't really interested in the drinks. If that is what you're interested in, then perhaps the salon would be a good fit. I didn't experience luxurious service. About five minutes into the $25 pedicure, Tony cut my cuticle with his scissors, didn't say anything about it until I addressed it and then let it bleed, dabbed it and put my foot in the water. At this point I was skeptical about continuing the pedicure due to hygiene and in fairness, I should have stopped it. I have been getting pedicures for over 20 years and have never been nicked/cut or had someone not address it. A few minutes later, Kim nicked my sister's ankle, muttered something to Tony in Viatnamese and then proceeded to put a liquid bandage on it without asking my sister. Again, worried a little about hygiene, so we decided to give a negative review and not come back again. We shared our experience with the receptionist and felt there was a lack of professionalism and informed her that we would not be going back again. I've read a lot of positive review about Lush, so it probably just depends on who you get, but for such a luxurious facility, if you're offering a fast pedicure service, the staff needs to be trained to execute said pedicure efficiently and without distress to the patrons. read more

Love this salon! I'm a sucker for above and beyond experiences. It used to be so boring going to the salon but Lush gives you a completely different experience. It gives off the look and feel of a luxury lounge and not a salon. The staff is very professional and run their business as if they are serving celebrities or VIP guests and not just average customers. They get you in quickly and are very meticulous about your needs and how to meet them. It's never a long wait...but even if it was, the bar and TVs and lounge area would make the wait worthwhile. The complimentary bar is a huge asset and drawing factor! The drinks are delicious and you can enjoy two free ones while you get your nails done. I've been about 3 times and I can't see myself going back to a "regular" salon. Their herbal pedicures are amazing! They look beautiful, smell delightful and come with a hot stone massage that feels great! Lush brings you the professionalism of a doctors office, the service and attention of a luxury restaurant, the sleek look and feel of a high class lounge and exceptional beauty services. Seems like from all the reviews I'm the only one that had a super negative experience. I visited the salon on Thursday and from first sight, it's great. Very luxurious, wonderful atmosphere, and the full bar is great. However, I got the worst pedicure that I've ever gotten in my entire life. My toenails were cut way too short and uneven, my polish looks like a 5 year old painted my toes, and the bottom of my feet have been peeling for the past 3 days. I spoke with the manager about how unhappy I was upon leaving, however she did nothing to improve my experience. Private massage suites, TV, bar, professional bartender.... Everything is sparkling clean. The owners ( a group of US educated friends) make sure that services are top notched and I can tell that they put a lot of effort into every nooks and crannies of this place. Don't get me wrong this place is beautiful and elegant. I've been to this salon twice. The first time, the woman who did my eyebrows looked at me like she was disgusted with my face. Even said "we have facials for skin like that." What the he'll is that supposed to mean? I get trying to promote different services, but there are other ways to bring it up. Then the chick who did my nails talked non stop about the drama going on in her life. Again, whatever not a big deal. It's not like I expect them not to talk to me. I just don't need to hear who back stabbed you and who you don't trust. The second time I went in was this past Thursday. The lady who did my nails seemed nice at first and she was, to me. She started talking to me, we'll complaining to me, about the couple sitting 2 tables over from me. Explaining how much she hates when people come in here and ask to fix this and that and do nothing but complain and don't tip. Then she has the guts so say especially black people. She keeps telling me that they are the worst tippers and sometimes don't even tip. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Maybe she thought because I'm white that she was going to get a fist bump or something. I was completely taken aback by this. It was to the point I was afraid to tell her what I didn't like about my nails. No way I'm going back there. Both times I felt uncomfortable. Great upscale environment. They have a full bar and all of their drinks are complimentary. I had 2 Mimosas ;-) My nail and pedi service was great even though my pedicure tech skipped my paraffin. She didn't charge me for it. Service is pricey but I expected that due to the quality of the facility. Don't think they pulled the tools she used out of a sterilizer but I did see that they do have the machines for it so next time I'll just ensure it. I got the ultimate lush & co pedi ($55). The fresh fruit was awesome and smelled heavenly. Did a terrific job on my nails & toes. They have a vast menu selection and a huge range of polishes, shellac, etc. (Shellac is an extra $18) The ladies were very friendly & funny. They do speak Vietnamese in front of you which I've always considered a bit rude and unprofessional but overall its definitely a fun atmosphere. They also entered me into a vacation & prize giveaway that they're currently having. I will return in 2 weeks on my next "Maintenance Monday" ! read more

I went in for my second time today at Lush and my experience was awful!! I got a new set of the dip powder on my natural nails and Vanessa was my manicurist. She cut me twice on my right hand. I checked my nails before I left her station and everything was fine minus the cuts, but when I got to my car I saw they were a lumpy mess! I went back in asking for someone to redo them bc I wasn't paying $45 for my nails to look worse than when I came in. What's really bad is before I left the first time the manager looked at my nails and asked who did them and sent me on my way. She already knew they were messed up judging by her face before I even walked out the door and said nothing. When I came back in she went and tried to make herself look busy behind the bar. Then when Vanessa came to get me she blamed the mess up on me saying they weren't dry. She had to redo them 3 times bc she couldn't figure out what was wrong, while she was cutting up my cuticles even worse. She had multiple techs come over and look to see what she was doing wrong, 2 of the guys that work there looked at them and while standing over me laughed at her like it was hilarious. She finally figured out what she was doing wrong when someone told her she wasn't putting the seal on before the top coat then laughed about it. After she put the 4th try of top coat on me she sat and started getting HER nails done in front of me by her coworker that sat next to her! I could not believe how unprofessional this place was. At the end no one came up to me to make sure I was happy or offered anything. I walked out of that salon completely disgusted and will never go back!! I called to speak to the manager when I got home and told her what happened and all she did was take my name and number and said "I'll get back to you". This place is horrible!
