A friend and I were excited to try an Exhale class for the first time. Unfortunately, we picked a class during rush hour. Exhale has a policy where you can enter a class up to 10 minutes late. We were 5ish minutes late into the class and assisted by a front desk helper to get mats and equipment set up in the packed full class. The instructor that day was unwelcoming and brashly commented to the front desk personnel regarding the placement of our mats being inconvenient for her. After being extremely stressed with the traffic situation, having some trouble finding the studio, and feeling bad about being late we decided to leave immediately after being met with that attitude in class. HOWEVER, though I haven't be able to go back to try a class as of yet, I am still giving this studio 4 stars purely based on the customer service of the Spa Director and other front desk staff. I have never before experienced a business that worked so hard to rectify the situation to make sure our next experience with Exhale would be a great one. My friend and I were both met with incredible, individualized customer service and have moved from the attitude of "never going back" to actually excited to give a class another shot as well as the spa. Suggestion to the studio: Because I have not yet been able to experience how the classes are structured, this may not be a helpful tip, but something to consider. If the instructor knows the class is fairly full and going to start on mats (especially during a rush hour class) it may be beneficial to go ahead and lay down the amount of mats for those that are enrolled before the class starts so that there are no spacing issues when the class begins and a lot less stress for all. read more

Luxury Spa.NO! Luxury spa prices. Yes. The gym and workout classes are all next to it. I sat in the if you could call it Zen room. People from gym came in to get the ice water out of the container as I sat in my robe. There were nuts tea bags with no hot water. Steam room and warm marble seats are shared with gym and class people coed. Sauna in women's dressing room share with gym and class women. While getting a facial l could hear weights dropping in gym. This is my regular massage place and they are consistently good. My complaint is along the lines of others here which relates to the spa sharing space with the gym and the noise associated with that. Also, Exhale: can you please put a water receptacle in the gym somewhere so that while I am sitting in the "relaxation room" in a robe, gym goers aren't constantly walking by to get to the infused water, which I assume is intended for the spa? Also maybe consider putting a curtain or some type of enclosure around the relaxation room for privacy? That would improve the ambiance a lot. read more

Had my first Exhale Spa experience compliments of my husband for my birthday a couple weeks back. He purchased me a "Fusion Massage" and "Power Facial". The massage was quite possibly the BEST massage I have ever had with just the perfect amount of pressure! I also like that you are able to choose an aromatherapy oil to enhance your experience. Additionally you don't hear any background noise due to spacious rooms and a good mixture of music genres. I cannot wait to come back and try one of their massages or body therapies. I have been wanting to try cupping and they seem to be one of the few places in Atlanta to offer it. My facial was equally awesome, and I particularly liked how my aesthetician was very informative about what she was doing along with what products she was using based on my skin type. It felt extremely customized to my skin are needs. When I left my skin had a fantastic glow to it, and to my delight I even received a compliment from a stranger later that evening! I took my wife to Exhale Spa in the Loews hotel in Atlanta as part of her birthday. We had a good time, the couples fusion massage was very relaxing. The massage room was very nice as well, dim lighting, fragrant and relaxing with soft music. The message tables were very comfortable and heated. And the therapists were very professional and nice. The locker room was well appointed with a steam room and showers as well as toiletries. After our session I stepped in the steam room for a bit and it was very relaxing with eucalyptus scented steam. I jumped into a cool shower and felt like a brand new man. The only shortcomings that kept me from giving a higher rating were the towels, robes and slippers. And the noise in the lobby, locker room and halls. The slippers are for the same ones for the fitness center that is right next to the spa. They are hard plastic and not comfortable. The robes are thin and made from the same material as long underwear. And the towels are the same scratchy towels the hotel uses in there rooms. The noise is two fold. First is the fitness center. The Loews hotel has an fitness center that is second to none. It has all the machines a person could need and classes for yoga and such. But it shares the 7th floor with the spa and all the instructors and loud music and machine noise is quite jarring for someone trying to relax. The second bit of the noise is the music selection in the Spa lobby and locker room. The music is basically top 40 and includes rap and rock, neither are relaxing. Overall I dont know that I would go here again, the cost is about the same as other places that arent noisy, have more comfortable amenities, and the same level of service. read more

This was my first time back in more than a year. I couldn't justify the price but GILT recently had a promotion so I went back. Had a ton of bad experiences while there (last Saturday, Dec 17). I booked a 60 minute facial and massage. This spa is really better suited for guests staying at the hotel where the spa is located. Parking is a huge pain and the $16 charge is even worse! The services I had were good. Nothing exceptional that would justify the price but the spa itself is pretty. What is super annoying is how small the changing rooms are and if a barre class is starting or ending while you are in the changing area, watch out! It's crazy girls running around trying to either get in or out. I mean like 30 people packed in a small area. Not so relaxing for those who aren't taking a class! When I went to check out, I showed the GILT receipt to explain I had already paid. The woman that was checking me out took 15-20 minutes to let me leave. First she was not happy that I was using a GILT promotion and would not let me leave until she finally figured it out. Such a waste of my time and took away that spa experience. She made me feel bad for using a promotion and made me never want to come back. Beware for those using the same GiLT promotion!! read more

What an awesome gym that is so fancy and nice!! Staff here are super friendly and efficient. The 3 classes I have been to here have been excellent and the instructors really care about each person in the class. If it is your first class they really take special care of you to ensure you had a great experience. One of the best parts about this gym is the locker room. They are so incredible and have the nicest showers and changing area you could ask for. They also have robes and sandals for your convenience and you are even allowed to use the dry steam room and saunas as part of your experience. These are located in a spa so super fancy and incredibly relaxing. I have gone here through Classpass and its one of the nicest gyms I have been to. Let me start out by saying that everyone was extremely friendly. I booked a 60 minute deep tissue massage, but it felt more like someone just rubbing oil on me. There were some spots on my back that got worked but it was a pretty weak massage (especially considering it was supposed to be deep tissue). I also was not a fan of the unisex waiting room and the nearby gym. Luckily, I used a gift card and not my own money. The remaining balance of my gift card will be used on apparel or a yoga class. They had a fabulous gym, mostly cardio equipment, Then I took a core class, tough!, then it was on to a pedicure. It was pretty good. BIG FAN of this place! I did the Week of Tansformation - AMAZING! Great facilities, and mostly a GREAT staff. Let's see - the classes are AMAZING. They are intense and the instructors are THE VERY BEST. Personal attention, good music - you get it all at Exhale. The facilities are wonderful. Most of the time, everything is clean and spotless. The men's showers do have a bit of a mildew smell that needs looking after. The Yoga Studio and Core Fusion Studio are just beautiful. The sound is perfect, the rooms are clean, and the entire space is very conducive to sinking into a wonderful, rejuvenating gym experience. Also, the open gym has everything you need to get in a full workout. Avoid it at lunch, though, as the midtown attorneys have found this hidden gem. At times, the gym is a bit crowded. $130/month is STEEP, too, but there are a towel service, clean facilities, and a staff that is generally very pleasant and happy and quick to help. I have been a member at Exhale for over a year now and this is by a mile the best gym facility I've ever been to. The staff are top notch, genuinely friendly and professional. The yoga and barre instructors are better than any studio I've tried in town. The class schedule offers classes all times of day. The spa services are excellent, with the exception that they recommended a facial cleanser that really inflamed my face. But I have sensitive skin so who knows. Highly recommend!! read more

Best barre class I've ever taken!! I'm so grateful that the instructor I had was top quality and knew exactly what she was doing! I am constantly traveling and this is by far my favorite barre class I've tried. I felt like I had gotten such an incredible total body workout by the end. The teacher was totally engaged the whole time and unlike other barre classes I've taken her counting wasn't off and she gave really good hands on adjustments. The best front desk staff. So helpful and nice when they checked me in for my massage. Chris Pop was my therapist and he created such a peaceful environment. He could tell that what I was talking about was making me tense and encouraged me to just breath (exactly what I needed). Chris also found some tense spots that he was able to really work on. this is seriously an awesome gym. i really love the barre/carido class. i take these classes through class pass and i sort of expected that the employees may treat you differently bc i'm not a monthly member but that's not the case at all. FYI park in the parking deck on p7 and take the elevator to the lobby and then get on the guest elevators. i called as i was pulling into the deck and once they gave me this info it was easy to find. there locker rooms are crazy nice and the instructor kicked my ass! love it! if i was a morning person i would totally hit a class before work because they have all the amenities for you to be able to get ready. read more

There was an issue with ClassPass and the woman at the front desk told me I wasn't signed up for any classes (when I had the confirmation email in front of me). The two women at the front desk were rude and not willing to help. I asked for their supervisor and the director came out (I unfortunately forget her name) - but she was so kind and willing to help. She handled it very well and made the experience end on a positive note. I am rating this a 5 purely because of her and the facilities. Be ready to be 'WOW'ed! I could see myself here EVERYDAY! I went into the beginners yoga class and I was impressed. Shana tought the class and was more than I expected. She came around and made adjustments to put me in proper form. I really liked the special attention. The class was the perfect size to get the attention too. I loved being able to look out the windows. It was in the evening and the sun was setting which was quite pretty. After the class, my friend and I sat in the Hammom. That was spectacular. I enjoyed the class so much that the following day I went to my regular (lame) gym and did a class. And I was motivated by EXHALE. Thank you! What a beautiful facility and very friendly staff. I received a gift certificate and received an email that instructed me to schedule an appointment and simply enter my exhale gift certificate number at checkout. Instead, I was required to set up an account. In order to set up an account, I was required to provide my credit card data. Upon check out there was no place to input my gift certificate number. So I called Exhale Midtown and was told that I would not be charged until check out. I explained (again) that I had a gift certificate. She suggested I should print out the gift certificate and we would work it out when I arrived to the spa. It's been an hour and I've already received a mass automatic email from owner CEO Annbeth Eschbach welcoming me to the Exhale family and second with an invitation to become a member. I am still doing the week of transformation ($30 week pass) and I am so impressed with this gym. If you're an avid barre workout fan, you will love it. I was commuting out of the city up to Roswell to do Bar Method and then up Peachtree to do Pure Barre for the past year almost without knowing that Exhale Core Fusion Barre class was less than a mile from where I live. To the individual below who mentioned FlyBarre, I tried one of their classes and if you a true barre fan, FlyBarre is a more like Core Fusion Cardio. I couldn't handle FlyBarre just due to the chopping and changing (there wasn't any flow to the class like Pure Barre, Core Fusion Barre or Bar Method, as in warm-up, arms, thighs, glutes abs etc) it was all over the place and oh my goodness, the whole room is a mirror. The membership price, while it is more expensive than neighboring gyms in the area, you get what you pay for you and I look forward to joining. read more
