I was hungry, me & my husband just landed in Ohio at midnite. My husband's best friend told us about this place & he drove us here. It is a food truck that park in front of alcohol store, next to gas station. There was only 1 lady that do everything..taking our order,a cashier & cook. She is a nice lady. I ordered Asada burrito & my husband ordered carnitas burrito. FYI it was big burrito & Only $5 each . Beside the burrito, she sell taco ($2 each; chicken, asada, carnitas, tounge,vegetarian) sandwich, platter ( I think $8-$12) and also vegetarian choice. I like my Asada burrito better than the pork one, I don't remember what is inside my burrito but I think there are rice, black beans, lettuce, Asada, probably guacamole & sour cream (not sure) also I add red & green salsa. I don't lie to you, you should try the ASADA BURRITO!!! A MUST The asada have a really good flavor & from the first bite, I can tell everything is blending so perfect. Yummy read more

DO NOT ORDER any dish with beef. I had the dish with fried plantains and beef. The plantains were OK, fried. The beef was mostly gristle and fat. This is what I would throw out after trimming a cut of beef. The dish was covered with lettuce and sour cream. So the mystery meat was hidden from view until I took it home to eat. The meat was all gristle. Could not chew it. I had to spit out my first bite and threw away the rest. Somehow my original review with 1-star was hidden, so I am giving this place 2-stars. I love this place! It's an taco truck right off Hudson in the 13-0 parking lot. I'm always craving this place after the gym for some reason. Unfortunately, I haven't tried anything else besides the chicken burrito. It's $5 and it comes with an green sauce and hot sauce. Actual I have had the quesadilla before and they were also good. But the chicken burrito is super thick and fills you up just right. The black beans are soft and cooked and seasoned well, the chicken has moisture with each bite and full of flavor, the rice is so good and fluffy and than the rest lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sour cream and cheese are very clean and fresh. I've gone here at least twice an week. Nothing satisfies me like there burritos, I maybe over exaggerating but I love their burritos more than chipotle or any other taco truck in the city. They have an picture menu which separates itself from the others and its Columbian food not Mexican so there's an difference and they would tell you. Not all Mexicans run taco trucks people. But def try this place out not just the burritos but other things in the menu. It fits my budget and I'm full and satisfy afterwards. read more

I got the papás rellanas which is supposed to be mashed potatoes with a beef filling and deep fried. I wanted to order a couple of other things but they were out. Mind you, it was only 2pm on a Tuesday. The man was nice but after getting my food, I opened the lid and seen two "deep fried" balls with a leathery cheese oozing out. I stayed there and ate it in my car. I opened one and seen a pink-ish meat inside that looked like canned salmon or a cheap canned chicken. And the potato wasn't mashed. It was chunks of dry potato with no seasoning smashed around this very bland and dry mystery meat mixture. And the batter on the outside was rubbery as well as the cheese. I took two bites and couldn't stomach it. It was BLAND and rubbery. I took it up to him and asked if this was microwaved. He said "yes, first pre-deepfried then later he microwaved it to heat it back up to order". Ummmm Why isn't my food fresh sir??? Then I asked him what the meat center was because they were advertising "beef papas rellanas". He told me it was chicken. It was a gray-ish pink chicken...And now my stomach hurts. The food smelled like it was sitting in an old fridge and smelled like old fryer grease. No shade but I don't trust the food. And it was disgusting and bland. The textures were off and the salsa roja was bitter and the salsa verde was decent but needed more flavor. It was my first AND last experience. If you own a truck, make the food fresh and delicious...especially with simple ingredients like beef and potato. Hope this helped somebody. read more

I went there at 2:30 on a Friday and ordered a steak burrito. I had heard great things about this place. After getting my burrito I start eating it. Every single peice was fat. So much so that I had. I stumbled upon this taco truck near the Ohio State University Campus on High Street. The bright yellow truck catches your eye and when you smell the aromas coming from the truck it draws you in. I tried Colombian-Mexican food for the first time with this truck and it was fantastic. My husband and I got some chicken and pork tacos, chicken and rice empanadas, Colombian tamales and corn griddle cakes with chicken. Alot of food and it was good and flavorful. The only downside is that they have a limited menu and one special is available each week. The prices were good and the people running the truck were nice. I felt the cooking was homemade.. the same thing you would get if you went their house for dinner. It was a great experience and if you want cheap good food check this truck out!! I have plenty of leftovers to last me the rest of the night. One other thing they had their health department green sticker certification on display so they recently had a good inspection. read more

This place is definitely worth a visit. The empanadas are unlike what I am used to and that is A-OK with me. They were fried but not terribly greasy. The location is in a rough neighborhood, but I do not remember feeling unsafe. If the girl can man the stand by herself all night, I am sure I can be man enough to order from her. I'm not a tongue taco connoisseur, but I liked what I got. They even had the papillae intact and are better than the tongues available down in my neck of the woods (a bit grassy for my taste). The al pastor was quite good, though I wasn't too impressed with the fried mashed plantains with mozzarella cheese inside; I prefer a nice crunchy exterior. The truck highlights the fact that they serve Colombian dishes (yes, the employees are Colombian) and I've really got to get back there and try one of the more substantial Colombian offerings. The Colombian hot dog sounds very intriguing I have to say. What made the visit even more interesting, aside from some eye candy (he ordered some tongue tacos too instead of a typical Americanized burrito: a good sign), was the fact that there was a Colombian comedy sketch show on the TV and, I kid you not, the guys were doing black face dressed up in womens' clothing a la the Chiquita banana girl. One of them was holding a toilet seat and talking loud, so maybe it would have been funny if you could ignore the racism. Keep in mind they close at 10 or 11 even on weekends, most likely because they have no tolerance for drunk, douchebag college kids. read more

Ordered the vegetarian burrito and vegetarian taco, they were good but I could have done without the taco. It says it comes with soy meat but I only saw rice and beans on it. The burrito was very good, I would get that again. They offer jarritos on the menu for $1.50 but when I ordered one they told me the drinks were inside the 14-0 liquor store. I eat here often. Well, I did eat here often. I ordered 15 dollars with of food, got a 5 back, so I took a one from the wallet and tipped them. Another guy and a couple ordered after me. Typical stand around, wait, while they cook to order. Then she comes up and says "burrito" and the guy who ordered after me sheepishly steps up, turns to us, and says "you didn't order burritos did you?" and I said no. Not that it is a strike, but come on. First come, first serve. It made everyone look around like what is up? So I finally get my order and I say "can I have more of the red sauce than green" Why? Because I was there not 2 days earlier and it was awesome. Truly hot. That woman had the nerve to open the box, look at what was in there, and say "you have enough." YOU HAVE ENOUGH. Yep. That was actually said to a paying customer who tipped preemptively, got shafted on service, and requested more salsa. I would have paid for it! Or, given back the green ones which I don't care for. Guess what? It was not enough. It is 3 little red salsas for an arepa, empanada, 2 tamales, 3 tacos? The green ones went unused. The food is still good, but I will be hard pressed to be back with that type of response and attitude. I hope someone tries to orders a lot of food and is willing to pay for it and she tells them they have enough. Unacceptable. read more

This is probably my favorite food truck in Columbus. Slammed a veggie arepa (kind of like a cheesy savory pancake) before a show last night. They have an awesome extensive menu of authentic (I think it is Colombian food) but also plenty of staples for the less adventurous. I have never eaten food from here that I did not love. Most I have ever spent here was maybe 10-12 bucks, which works out to too much food for one person most of the time, so go with a couple friends that like to share and you will get to try all sorts of great stuff. The lines can be kind of long here sometimes, but it is worth the wait (I somehow always seem to avoid this problem, but have seen it backed up on a couple occasions, but fortunately this is in the 14-0 parking lot so you can go in and grab some good beers and pet the beer cats after you've got your order in. read more

I recently moved to an area that's not too far from this truck, and I luckily have had a chance to try it. Unfortunately, I stopped by in the evening, and they seemed to be out of some items at that point. However, I was able to try their carnitas and arepas. Both were good, but I'd have say I've had better arepas elsewhere. As with most trucks, the food is incredibly affordable, and unlike some other trucks, there's usually parking spaces open in the lot where it's located. I'm not sure if this is always the case, but there seemed to only be one person in the truck when I was there. And when multiple people in line making orders, we did all have to wait for some time before the food was ready. Nevertheless, I imagine that I'll be making return trips in the future given the truck's close proximity to my house. read more

As Junior's has progressively gone down hill in the last year, I've warmed up to the charm of Exotic Latino Grill. While I still wish that they had a bigger assortment of veggies to put in their tacos, like grilled onion or zucchini, they're still quite good, even without dairy. I also dig their sweet plantains - I really can't get enough of those things. Still haven't tried the pineapple cheese empanada again but I would consider it. Regardless, I'm glad that I gave them another chance and I now have a new truck to satisfy my taco cravings. read more

Amazing! Driven past it everyday on my way to work and finally tried it. The burritos are unreal, I also tried the Perros Columbianos based on yelp reviews and it was unbelievable. Can't wait to go back and try some other stuff on the menu. One thing you can expect is, that they're menu is based on what they have available so sometimes they might not have menu items but thats a minor problem because I'm confident everything on the menu is good. This has to be hands down one of the best food trucks in this city. I work close therefore frequent here often and it never seems to let me down. The food is always consistent and fresh. I have actually visited Venezuela which allows me to rate it's authenticity and I find it to be spot on. Many restaurants try and mimic the deliciousness of the Latin empanada. This truck has clearly mastered the technique. The staff is also always quite pleasant, it's refreshing. The only complaint I have is that on occasion the food may take inexcusably too long. Otherwise I encourage them to continue to do what they're doing because it has me hooked. read more

We've been there twice now, both times got the cheese arepas with rice, beans, and salad on top; the cheese-and-pineapple empanadas; and plantains. All was delicious, fried without being too heavy, and with fresh toppings and salsa! We also added the shrimp tacos this time, which were yummy as could be - a good grill flavor. There's not much tastiness in our direct neighborhood, so we're thankful for this truck! It smells wonderful just walking up to it, too. read more
