Update necessary... Since I started going to this salon, Monica has been my go-to gal for my much-loved pedicures. Recently she took a vacation so I was forced to go out of my usual comfort zone and work with someone else. Having heard great things about him, I decided to work with Jason. I don't know how to put my experience into words--other than, GO TRY IT YOURSELF! Jason was patient, meticulous, and took his time to ensure that I received the UTMOST quality in the service provided. Not sure about all their services, but at least for a spa pedicure, it was utterly fantastic! Cindy took her time with me, made sure my spa chair was working properly by helping with my settings, and was concerned throughout my pedicure that I was getting the service that I requested and wanted. She did such a beautiful job and I never felt rushed whatsoever, even though I arrived 'after' closing time. All the staff were friendly and genuinely concerned on pleasing their customers. Avoid this place at all costs. Took two hours for a basic manicure and pedicure. They would do one step then leave me sitting while they did something on another customer. I had to ask the manicurist to redo two nails because she globbed on the polish and it bubbled-at the end they charged me $58 before tips for a basic mani pedi for "extra work". They didn't mention any extra charges at the time and their basic charge is suppose to $28. The whole time the owner is openly complaining to the entire salon that people are complaining about how long it was taking. Unreal. read more

:( I went in here with my husband to get a pedicure. The work was really good, I loved how she shaped and painted my toes, and she did really cute little flower things, BUT... I ended up with itchy dry cracked bumps all around the inbetweens of my toes! :( So embarrassing!!! My husband got some kind of rash thing on his ankle too. This is no coincidence! I have never had any kind of foot issue and I got the bumps within 24 hours of having my pedi done. I also noticed that while she was using the clippers she kept putting them back in the box in between uses. So even if she were to disinfect them after, if they go back into that little spot in her box they will still pick up whatever was on them from whoever's feet they were clipping. And I watched a lady finish a pedicure, ring out the client and then leave the foot bath alone, without cleaning it. I just figured she would clean it eventually, and stopped paying attention, but now I really wonder if they clean them at all. I am really grossed out, and they need to be careful! This is a disaster or law suit waiting to happen. read more

Seriously this place is HORrible!!!! I came in for a gel manicure and literally my nails started chipping the next day! It has now been 6 days after my GEL manicure and my nails look like shit!!! I always get gel manicures and they last for 3 weeks or even more!!!! I don't even know why the heck I came to this place! Another thing, it is filthy in here! Seriously I was sooo grossed out when they were filing my nails and cutting my cuticles. It's so obvious they never clean their shit! Everything is old and dusty! Their towels are used and dirty and I wanted to throw upppp! I have no idea how this place is still open?? People can easy get infections with this kind of filth! Also, the owner DIdi or whatever her name is, is super annoying! She's very pushy and and a crook! She doesn't take NO for an answer! Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced in the US. Didi the owner is always yelling at someone or complaining of some employer or customer. The invironment is always tense and negative. They can do your nails in 15-20 minutes and force you, literally force you pay them good tip, but your nails only last about 2-3 days as they never do a quality work here. DIDI the biggest LIAR and The WORST BOSS ever. The salon itself is extremely dirty with old chairs and tools. When I noticed the tools were not sanitized I asked her to not use any of the tools on my fingers. She shouted at us in front of the entire salon over something that was completely her fault. I will never go back not even for a free manicure/pedicure. She never even attempted to make right by her mistake. And don't get me started about the wait. What's the point of making an appointment only to sit there, waiting, for 40 mins. I don't have that kind of time, that's the reason I made an appointment in the first place. A relaxing nail trip turned into a stress event. I went here today to take advantage of the special priced mani/pedi Monday through Wednesday. I regretted my decision as soon as I was gruffly escorted into the salon. Not only were the chairs broken, but the water was cold, and the nail technicians dumped and reused water for hands into the feet basin with no regard for germs or aesthetics. What is worse, the male technician smelled like an ash-tray, and the female technician was so inconvenienced to do my pedicure. I have been going here only because it is really close to my house but it's not a great place. You go there to relax and get your nails done but the environment is not the best and leave the same or worse. I got tricked into getting a gel pedi and didn't know there was an extra charge. The way the lady asked me was as if it was a choice, but I should have known better. Of course when she offered to do sea salt on my feet, she mentions there is an additional $5 charge but nothing about the additional $15 for gel pedi. Anyways then they transferred me to DD to do my mani, which she did it super fast and even changed the color of my hand color because the original color had ran out and she didn't have another bottle. She did a really quick job and then transferred me to another person to do the hand massage. That was the third person who worked on me that day. Not relaxing at all. Hopefully I can find something that's better even if I have to pay a little more. Also one last thing the owner is a liar. One time she was doing my nails and got a phone call which from the sound of it, the person on the other line was a customer who wanted to come in to redo their nails because they Weren't happy. DD (the owner) says I'm not at the store and im very far from tujunga. I was like wow lady do you realize u could have been the person on the other line. Horrible customer service. I needed a basic mani-pedi and this salon was the nearest/most convenient to me. When I stepped in, it took a few moments to be acknowledged. Awkward. Then the boss/owner Didi welcomed me and told me to pick my color. A few minutes later, I was waved down to a spa chair. (It was a massage chair that was not working) The woman who did my pedicure was pretty rough on my feet. She would shove them in the water and then clean them with this unnecessary pressure. I felt like she was mad at me. The pedicure itself was okay. They offer Essie and OPI products, but I did notice that they water then down, right in front if you!! my manicure lady was nice and did an awesome job. Also, a customer complained that her pedicure water was dirty, with particles in it and Didi stated that it was from the customers dirty feet. Wtf. All in all, I will not be returning, mainly because of the weird vibe, lack of ambience (no music/magazines/TV) 3 stars for having nice color options but that's pretty much it. read more

There is no 'spa' in the pedicure chairs. Yes the chairs are spa chairs but they don't turn them on! My first experience was this past Sunday and I was shocked when the water level was only filled to 1/2 then the antiseptic was poured in and when I asked about the spa I was told, no. Then I tried to turn on the massage part of the chair and again I was told, no. the technicians were nice and did a good job and I hope their experience there gets them out of there and into a decent salon. My feet were stained blue-green when I left and I needed alcohol to remove it. Definitely not a good experience. Very inexpensive and now I know why. read more

Ive been coming here for over 5 years and the service is amazing. The staff is always kind and funny. We always have fun here getting manicures pedicures tans and massages. They always do exactly what you want and have great deals. It is so worth it! Its a great exterior too compares to other salons that are dirty. This place is very clean. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. So I went in yesterday to get a fill on my acrylics....I think the ladies name was Gigi who did my nails. At the time she started doing my nails there was no other customer waiting. She immediately started rushing my nails and even started hurting them with the spinning tool. She barely took a few seconds on each nail. Didn't push back the cuticles back nor cut them.... when she went on to paint them she did Not add a top coat and immediately went to move on to the next customer who had only been waiting a few minutes. I asked her if she could add a top coat and she looked at me in a nasty face. After she went back I told her if next time she could please do a better job and not rush and not to mention the fact that she slapped on the top coat, rushing once again, and there was polish all over my cuticles. I told her about that and she started getting upset and while "fixing" the situation, she messed up the polish on my thumb finger, which she didn't fix. Things started escalating and I did unfortunately cause a scene but I did not like my service there AT ALL and I couldn't even complain about it without her giving dirty looks or giving attitude (bad idea to give a Latina attitude) lol anyways, she said if I wanted my cuticles pushed back and cut (like they always do for me at other places) she said it would be considered a "manicure" too and would be an extra $10..... she NEVER asked me if I wanted the "manicure" option.... I told her to shut up and sit down and stop talking to me and do her job right on the next chick. Gigi if you're reading this, F@ck you.... your 18 years of experience seems like amateur work. I needed to get my nails done and it was a busy Friday night, everywhere I would call wasn't able to do my nails. Decided to try it out, how bad could it be? I came here and there was only one customer, explained why.. Every single employee besides one did not speak English one bit. The lady that was doing my full set had major attitude problems and would not listen to one thing I would ask. I told her to file my nails before putting on the acrylics and she would just continue. But then when it came to her asking me if she should cut my cuticles for an extra $10, she would not stop asking me. Seriously seemed like she just learned how to do nails because she didn't know where anything was or how to simply cut the nail. Afterwards, a normal person who actually knew english came to finish my nails and she understood that my nails were horrible, she fixed it. But after I left I then realized how horribly bumpy it was and she didn't buff it down equally. I ended up redoing my nails a day later. read more

Came here because my regular place had closed at 7 and they were open till 8pm. When I arrived I was asked to sit down at a certain nail table and then rudely moved to another even though all of the tables were empty. Any who I was getting a gel manicure done and the lady helping me (I think it was the owner) kept getting up every five secs and doing random things. Then she kept talking to another coworker and the coworker would come up and whisper things in her ear and they would laugh. I found this very unprofessional but i just ignored it. The place grossed me out. Didn't seem very sanitary. She used an old stained plastic bowl to dip my fingers in hot water. The lotion she used for my manicure wasnt warm and it was probably the worst hand massage ever. The lady kept pointing out my hair & pressuring me to get a wax so I got one.. But when I went inside the room someone else was laying down on the bed getting waxed and she had me sit on a chair.. She waxed my brow and lip while I was sitting upright in the chair. I should of been laying down. She missed spots and didn't even bother to go over it twice. One and done. She left wax on my skin and a small piece of waxing paper on my upper lip. I Felt very rushed at the end and didn't feel taken care of properly. I will never come here again. Such a waste of money. Overpriced for the services you receive. Honestly I love this salon. I try to pay them a visit at least once every two weeks. Judging on personal experience the workers are always kind and they always do a clean job. I've never walked out disappointed or unhappy with their service. Even when I damage my nail polish on the way out (almost always) they kindly agree to fix it with patience, and no problem. The environment has a very vibrate, fun, and lively feel to it, and finding parking has never been a problem for me. They also have plush automatic massage chairs that are always an amazing sight after a long day! Even with a packed house they make sure to never keep you waiting. I also love how they have an wide variety of colors to choose from. It's also always fun asking the workers for their opinions on designs and colors because they're always ready to help, and interact with their customers. All in all I rate this salon a five out of five because of the service, work, prices, and the fact that I'm always happy with mani and pedi (: read more
