I am so sad I did not have the experience other reviewers had. My manicure was terrible. My nail polish look terrible because it was too thick in some parts and not in others and if I hadn't said something they would be crooked too. The top coat on some nails was so thick that it will never dry and has caused a weird looking wrinkly effect on my nails. I've never done this before but I actually tried to ask for my money back but the girl looked so surprised that I said forget it and left. I was fine to pay for the pedicure which came out ok I think and I would never take back the tip. Maybe they focus on gel and shellac and that is the problem. But for a normal pedicure and manicure this was the worst experience and not cheap. I was doing this as a treat for myself and now I'm out almost 50$. read more

I've come to this salon a few times and always had a great experience, but after today I won't be going back. I made an appointment to get my pedicure done after work. When I got there I can hear from the back room someone coughing at the top of their lungs and out of the four available ladies the one coughing is going to do my pedi. Great. Not only did she cough all over my feet and her hands she was using (she didn't have the decency to cough away or in to her arm). Halfway through the pedicure, she coughs so loud she spits her cough drop to the floor, looks at me- laughs it off and leaves it in the floor. It was disgusting. I went in for a relaxing time and instead left in a bad mood, grossed out and probably with her cold and cough. Super unsanitary and awful experience. They could've had any other lady do my pedicure and send her home. No need to get ur customers sick. read more

I got shellac nails at this place, after a week it started peeling. They charge $30 for shellac, too expensive what you get.

I was looking for a salon close to my house and I am so happy I found Exp salon. I got a shellac manicure and 3 days in it is still flawless as expected. The salon is clean and does not smell like acetone at all. The shellac manicure also included parafen wax. Total $25. I will be coming back here again! read more

Im not upset at my lady who I got them done from. I came into get a pumpkin/mustard fall color nail... found the perfect color then she told me it's too sheer and won't look that color (why have it out on display if it's not that color??) She offered to do a yellow coat under and we tried to match the color as best as we could (after hours because I waited 25 minutes after my appointment at 6) She was patient and took her time. Now the color is NOT her fault it's mine and I should have just went nude or black but I wanted a fall color. She was kind and offered if I didn't like the color tomorrow to come in and she would remove it for free(awesome!) BUT the only thing I'm upset is about how THICK and bulky and tacky they are... next time I'll ask her to go thin because I feel like a clown :( But thank you Sarah, your customer service was awesome sorry I didn't get to experience what everyone else has but it's my fault. read more

Friendly and good prices. They did a nice job on my gel manicure. I hadn't had my nails done in a couple of months- so I really needed them to get in there as far as the cuticles and they did a perfect job of it. Parrafin wax to moisturize in the end was a pleasant surprise. And I expect the manicure will last awhile as she did a nice job sealing up the tips between coats. A little too busy for the number of people working there. But great other than that. Also need to buy a buffer and file and bring it back with you each time but only a dollar if you forget. read more

I was talked into getting a pedicure by my friend (who was right, my toes needed some help) so we decided to make an appointment and meet there after work. When we called the lady who answered the phone was so friendly and sounded genuinely welcoming. I scheduled a pedicure for myself and a manicure for my friend. If you're reading this then you probably already know what to expect when getting your nails done. My nail tech's name was Ann and she was fantastic. Very friendly and was very detailed when she was doing my pedicure. We had a pleasant conversation while she worked and she even gave me some really delicious tea. Had a disappointing pedicure. The two most important parts of a pedi for me are that me feet are super scrubbed and soft, and the massage. The tech barely scrubbed at all, leaving the rough, dead skin visible and felt. The massage (which I paid extra for) was kind of a joke. Barely rubbing skin, as opposed to using ANY pressure at all, 5 minutes just gently touching my calves, and about 30 seconds per foot. Super disappointing. I also didn't appreciate the horrid fluorescent lights. The only positives were that the lotion smelled good, and the polish was well applied. I don't need to leave home for good smelling lotion, and I can paint my own nails. A pedi is supposed to be an experience. Won't be back. read more

I tried this place a few times, loved the hot wax, but the young gal they kept giving me couldn't even file short rounded nails evenly. I have been coming here for 2 years now and I will never go anywhere else. The service is amazing and the ladies are so sweet!! They do a great job at trimming cuticles and make sure the paint job is not thick. If you tell them how you want your nails they will do exactly that! You have over 1,000 colors to choose from (I counted)! I recommend calling for an appointment on the weekends because they can get busy. I was worried about getting a manicure and pedicure here, but I lucked out. This salon was close to my brothers house and it turned out to be great. They did a wonderful job on both my feet and my hands. I brought my own polish with me so I could have exactly my color and they liked it so much they wrote down the brand and color so they could order it. I also brought most of my own kit with me not knowing that was the law in Oregon, but they could have sold me what I needed if necessary. The salon was clean, quiet, and had free wifi. If you get shellac manicure they offer paraffin treatment for your hands, which is interesting because I've never had this experience at any nail salon.
