I had a great experience with Express Garage Door Service. Our garage door was extremely loud when opening and closing, so I called to get a quote. I initially thought I might need to replace the entire door and motor, but Adam took the time to walk me through all the components that contribute to the noise. He explained that instead of replacing everything, upgrading the opener and properly calibrating and lubricating the existing parts would significantly improve the situation. I really appreciated that he wasn't pushy at all - he was honest, transparent, and willing to work with me to find a price that made sense. We agreed on a fair price, and he got to work right away. The job was completed quickly and efficiently. He removed the old equipment, cleaned everything up, and took the time to explain what he had done and show the improvement. Leandro came, was very courteous, inspected and explained the issue, and helped fix it while providing several options and was very upfront about the cost. I am a sucker for a good attitude and positive vibes. Ben has that in spades. He was the first to respond to one of my Yelp inquiries for garage door service. Super responsive and fast, Ben was very communicative and prompt on time. I panicked when my garage door opener would NOT open!! Garage is only accessible from outside so I really needed help fast. I called several businesses before getting a LIVE person here at Express Garage Door Service. Ben (owner) answered on the first ring and sent me a tech within 45 minutes! We'd been living in our new house for about a year and garage door stopped working. I checked on Yelp for reputable companies. Express Garage Door service responded almost immediately and Leroy was at my location within an hour. Truly an express service. Leroy had a wonderful demeanor and struck me as trustworthy and kind. He quickly figured out the issue. He replaced the opener which hadn't been changed by previous owner in over 30 years, and explained that although the door itself was in good shape, there had been virtually no maintenance and the springs were shot. Too much energy was being used to lift the door. He replaced the springs and oiled the mechanisms. Then he showed us how to download the remote app. All in all, A+ service. Huge shoutout to Ben and his team for fixing my garage door. They came out on very short notice and got the job done rather quickly. Someone pulled on my garage door a little too hard and bent the tracks. Ben came out and fixed the track and changed the torsion tube, springs, pulleys and even hooked me up with some heavy duty rollers. All parts were heavy duty and made in USA and were guaranteed for at least 10 years. I hope my door never breaks again but will definitely call Ben to come out and fix it. He showed me the broken part inside the motor and explained that, due to the motor's condition, the garage door couldn't open all the way. I called them and they said that there is no waraty on labor and only 1 month waranty on parts, but in the invoce they put 1 year waranty. Asked me to try to move the sensors around to fix it. I spent 2 hours before I alligned them. Again after a few days I had same problem, and when I reach this business I get the same response. Basically they want to extarct money from me again to visit and fix the work which they did within the last 2 months. I asked him to check the motor first to see if it was repairable. He said he would do his best to fix it but since it was over 20 years old, it might need to be replaced. He also told me that if he couldn't fix it, he wouldn't charge me. He showed me the broken part inside the motor and explained that, due to the motor's condition, the garage door couldn't open all the way. However, he was able to repair it enough to get it moving again but just won't open all the way. So I decided to have him install a brand new motor. He replaced everything, including the track, rail, and motor unit, and completed the job quickly. The price was very reasonable and he was communicative throughout the entire process!
