I've been coming to this Express Oil Change for about as long as I've been driving. I'm not going to say how long that has been but it's good amount of time. Lol. Back to the review. Over the years the mechanics have changed and I still always get great service. The guys and women are always very pleasant. Great. Here I bragged on Express Oil JUST LAST WEEK, and now I'm having to type out a nastygram. Brought my car in for an oil change to this location several days ago. This morning, I pulled out and noticed a big puddle of oil on the floor of the garage. Turns out, EOL did not put the oil filter on correctly, causing a huge leak. Good thing I noticed, or else my car's engine would have siezed up in another few days after all the oil leaked out. I guess I'll be calling them tomorrow. read more

I went in to have my brakes checked. I wasn't sure if there was a serious problem, but the gentlemen examined my vehicle free of charge. They didn't try to take advantage of me like some businesses. It's wonderful when a business doesn't prey on their customers. If you need your vehicle worked on, or think there might be a problem, I highly recommend these guys based on my experience. Michael and Ken (manager) gave me excellent service. They are competent at their jobs and pleasant to be around. I plan on coming back here. read more

I've been impressed by the professionalism of the people working there. They did their job fats but without rushing, kindly, and without "pressing" me on buying extra services. They checked anything needed to be checked and provided me of a good diagnostic for absolutely no extra cost. The mechanic that inverted the tires recognized a problem on the exhaust line that I knew it was there but I guarantee that only a professional could catch without a deep inspection. I took my older car in thinking it was time for an oil change. The technician, Lee, said that I was not due yet according to the mileage. I explained that it's my backup car and is not driven much and I was afraid that the oil may be old from sitting up. He explained to me that oil doesn't work this way and offered to check it for me. He showed me that my oil was still clean and fresh. His helpful attitude and honesty sold me on the place. I will be back there when it is time for the service! read more

This review is for experiences with the Oil change service. I used to love taking my car to Express until I found out they were topping me off with the wrong coolant and putting the wrong type of oil in my car. The people are very friendly but they weren't very careful when it came to making sure they used the proper type of products for my car. I didn't know any of this until my car started making a noise and I took it to VW. Express was the only other place I went to get my oil changes/check-ups. On an almost brighter side, when I called to ask about the oil type they told me to bring it so that they could take a look at it. They offered to put the correct oil in my car for a discount rate of $65 & I didn't think it was fair for me to have to pay them again for something they had done wrong. Instead of making a fuss, I paid it and decided I wouldn't go back again. read more

I had a half hour and needed to get my oil change so I went to express oil change. I have gone here in the past and come back because it is a no nonsense, in and out auto shop. It usually doesn't take me longer than 30 minutes long and hardly ever a wait. The mechanics aren't pushy and tell you exactly what needs to be done and aren't trying to up sell anything. I will be going back again in a few months. read more

This place was amazing. Not only were they speedy, happy and accommodating, but they gave me a full breakdown of everything that they checked, what was and wasn't working. They replaced my fuel filter as well my oil change in under twenty minutes! Then, to top it all off, Doug noticed I was eating my lunch in the car with nothing to drink and he gave me a water. The WORST! Asshole employees. Took my 1986 944 in and they made it worse and charged me 368. When I brought it to them...if they couldn't handle it they should have said "we can't handle it." I spent $368 to pick up my car in worse shape than it was when I brought it in. Tore open the driver side door and left it in the passenger seat. The windows didn't work. I drove my car 8 blocks in 97 degree weather to a specialist with no functioning windows. The were ASSHOLES when I asked them if they could make a window open. Took my car to a Porsche specialist (why did I not do that before? ...because they said they could handle it). Really. They suck mostly because they are not honest about what they can handle and also because they treated me like shite. read more

My first experience at this shop was great! It was Ladies Day (every Tuesday) so I received $5 off. I showed up right before closing time and they squeezed me in. They were very efficient and took great care of my car. I didn't even have to get out of the vegicle. They were also very nice and hospitable. They weren't pushy like some other places are. Have always had GREAT experiences at Express Oil but recently had to take my car down the hill to Tire Engineers for a flat. They lied to me and told me my sidewall was completely ruined, that the "integrity had been compromised" and I would need a completely new tire. The price they quoted me for the tire was also much higher than other places in town. I told them I was going to call around for better prices and would let them know if I needed them to order me a tire. I asked them to put the spare on, and had to specifically request they go get my wheel and tire and give it back to me when I was leaving, which they acted like was very weird that I would take it with me? Took the tire to Discount Tires, where they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the sidewalls, brought me out to the floor to show me under a light that there was no damage to the inside or outside of the tire and they patched it for free. I understand that sidewall damage can be somewhat subjective but am convinced Tire Engineers was just trying to take advantage of me. Will not return. read more

Awesome service by Johnathan early this morning. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and it didn't take long to check out our Honda before we hit the road to Memphis.
