Outstanding work performed on the rims of my 2008 Infiniti G37, repaired by Miguel at EXPRESS WINDSHIELD REPAIR. All four edges were significantly damaged, with deep scrapes around the rims. I knew that Miguel would have his work cut out for him. I was more than amazed when he completed the job. The finish on the rims were perfectly smooth. There were no bumps or feathers, just as smooth as glass. I could not believe it; my rims looked brand new! I am so please with the outcome. The pricing was more than reasonable for the amount of repair required. In and out on the same day. How's that for service? I rely heavily on referrals and the testimony of others. He just happened to be about 10 minutes from our house on another Windsheild repair. He came over and fixed our windshield. It only took about 30 mins. This was on a Saturday around 4:30! I was driving up from LA to SF to deliver one of the my recent unicorn eTron deals to my brother on Saturday night. Just as I was leaving from Cupertino to SF, a nice rock came bouncing on 280 just before the CA 92 exit. I heard the impact and then saw the starburst chip in the center of the new windshield. Reading some posts on an enthusiasts forum where some had a similar experience in May- the glass then had to be ordered from Europe. Quoted $1400 parts and then install/computer calibration. Total ~ $2500. I had to wait until Monday since all the service and parts were closed. I messaged AudiGirl on Sunday and she booked an appt on Monday with their glass specialist, Miguel, that Audi Fremont uses. In 30 minutes, he was able to improve the starburst 90% into a small dot. Due to the rain, a huge stone chip smacked my windshield on 101 and left a a significant star-shaped crack. Fearing it would only expand and cause the windshield to be unsalvagable, I found Miguel on Yelp and he was able to fit me in the next morning. I was impressed by Manuel's responsiveness, friendly demeanor, and his professional skills. The crack looks much better than before, knowing that repairs can only reduce the eye sore and help prevent the crack from spreading. Know the limitations or windshield repairs and you'll be happy! I if you want perfection, you'll need to get the windshield replace. Miguel's skills are as close as you'll get to perfection. I will refer my friends and family to Miguel. read more

I got a chip in my windshield while driving behind a gravel truck months ago and just got it repaired by Miguel today. I called Father and Sons Auto Glass Repair and, unbeknownst to me, they contracted my job to Miguel. I was not informed of this by either party; I was not asked to sign consent for any repairs. Upon arrival, he asked that we move my vehicle in to the shade to allow the window to cool before starting the repair. However, even before the engine was turned off from moving the vehicle, he went to work. His direct negligence caused a rock chip (smaller than the size of a dime) to crack the entire windshield. When it happened, his response was 'my bad'. He has refused to accept any responsibility paying for damages caused; I assume because he has been hiding under the umbrella of the other company. I have filed a case with the Bureau of Automotive repair. Update: my instance is not the .1%. Miguel fully admitted that he should have let the windshield cool down before attempting any repairs. read more

I can't believe there are still kind, ethical people out there who will do the right thing no matter what! I noticed a very small crack in my 2020 Subaru windshield so called and scheduled an appointment with Miguel. He was very accommodating and met me on a Saturday morning to do the repair. It turned out my windshield had already been repaired at some point (bought it used) and didn't need any additional work. That was great news! It's just so refreshing to meet an honest, hard working, and ethical person these days. Believe me, as a woman, that is not my typical experience with getting repairs done . Express W is mostly mobile and quite busy with dealerships. When suggested we meet at residence I got nervous. Made arrangements for my son to meet me there. My son ran late - never arrived. Saved me parking in the street. After a few minutes I felt at ease. He explained how he repairs windshields and the ones he can't. I realized I made the right choice not doing this myself. He has the equipment to fill the cracks. The process took him about 20 minutes from arriving to driving away. He was polite, and professional explaining my options should the repair fail. Also suggested I contact insurance because chips and cracks are often covered. In the end I would refer Express Windshield R to my family and friends. Edgar called me the next day telling me he wasn't pleased with the result and whether it was ok to leave it for another day. Told him no problem. Next day, he said the OEM paint doesn't seem to match, which entailed him going back to the paint manufacturer to work out a more suitable color, so he asked if it was ok to leave an additional day, to which I said ok. Third time was a charm and result was perfect. So what made this a uniquely positive experience was the fact that Edgar seems to want to take pride in a providing his clients a perfect product; and is willing to do what it takes to make it right. He did that and then some, and will leave it at that. Suffice it to say, I'd go to him again for any of my other cars' needs.

After doing extensive research on MPP suspension upgrades, I reached out to TDW Auto and sent a summary of my desired scope of work, my budget, and a request for feedback on whether I had the correct approach in addressing my concerns. From Will's first response, we had seamless back-and-forth conversations over E-mail and text to clarify the current setup of my car, highlight my major concerns, address these concerns with the proper MPP upgrades, and align on my budget, must-haves, and nice-to-haves. There was never once an upsell; only cautionary words of unnecessary upgrades for my use case, which is really just the daily work commute in a lowered setup for personal aesthetic purposes. My original request included MPP front upper control arms and rear traction arms with my Unplugged Performance lowering springs, along with swapping out the front lowering control arms and rear camber arms. However, Will explained that the FUCAs and traction arms served no improved performance for commuting, and that the existing springs were more of a budget-friendly fit that compromised on long-term performance due to its reliance on Tesla stock dampers. Instead, he recommended swapping out the springs for MPP coilovers, and replacing the toe arms in conjunction with the camber arms to improve upon long-term lowered car hardware wear-and-tear. I followed up with Will after our virtual exchanges to get his opinions in person. He took me out for a test ride with me in the passenger seat, immediately identifying that my dampers were squeaking noticeably and that hard cornering at highway speeds felt bumpier than it should. Additionally, he patiently answered all my technical questions over the hour I was there, and adjusted the quotation when I made the final decisions on the suspension refresh. Will was completely transparent about pricing: he categorized the costs by the "front" and "rear," clearly highlighting the number of hours required to replace the front control arms, coilovers, and rear camber and toe arms. Alignment was included in the coilover work as well as solid front lower control arm pressing.
