I called in the beginning of February about HUGE monsters in the roof of my house. Not sure what they were, but they were eating their way through my ceiling and about to enter with wanton abandon. I explained my plight and was told that I could have someone out as soon as the next day. The marvelous Matt showed up & explained everything. He was so kind and easygoing. Very pleasant to do business with. Turned out it was just squirrels. Yes I felt silly for exaggerating so much but Matt never made me feel like the scared crazy lady whose afraid of little animals. Any who! The job was done, but the crazy buggers came back. I called on a Friday and was told they would send someone out on Monday. Well Matt showed up in a few hours! Hows that for excellent customer service! So far so good. Squirrels all gone. And holes closed up. Almost wish they'd come back so I can talk to Matt again. We found this company through a local Google search, we had a bee problem in our garage. We called them after hours on a Thursday evening and left a message. We received a call back within the hour from Jason, he was so professional and friendly. We made an appointment for Saturday morning between 8-10 am. We received 2 calls that morning with the technician's arrival time. Sean was at our home at 9:30 am, he was courteous, professional and so nice. He explained everything to us, treated the garage where the infestation was and left. We felt so comfortable with this company from beginning to end. The problem was solved in one visit. We can not say enough good things about our experience with Exterminex and have already recommended them to several people. I found this company while searching through Yelp and chose them based on former positive reviews. I called on a Saturday and spoke to Jason, who took the time to explain everything on the phone. He accommodated my schedule which was a plus. We signed up for an annual contract for termite control. A technician named Sean came by and really took the time to answer all of our questions, and we definitely had a lot of questions! He was patient and informative, which is really rare to find these days. Overall, a great experience and would highly recommend this company. We plan to use them for our pest needs for years to come. I called a few weeks ago. My house had an issue with carpenter bees. The wood they were boring into wasn't structural so it wasn't a big deal but it was really annoying to have so many bees swarming around all over. They were able to come a few days after I called which was fine since that was the soonest I could do it. I don't remember the name of the extractor that came but he was very professional. They guarantee their work for 30 days so if the bees came back they would come by to spray again at no additional charge but it turned out no to necessary. The owners run this business out of their house on beach road in Massapequa. I had a small ant problem over The summer. They came Back twice to try and get rid of The ants. After two Months I still had problems with the ants. I asked them to come back and they wanted to Charge me over $200. I went to the store and purchased ant spray. This company is really good; when I called about a flea problem in my home I was reassured by Jason that everyting would be ok. He was concerned about our indoor family pet and offered suggestions on keeping him safe during the spraying. Although, it took 2 sprayings to combat the problem we are flea free and happy again. Awful customer service!!! We had a bimonthly contract with Exterminex and have used them for the past 2 years. We also used them to trap some racoons. In short, we've been loyal customers. Exterminix treated our house last week as per the contract for ants, but we saw many ants in the house the following week. We politely called Jason to see if they could come back and address the issue. As we have two small children, we're obsessed with cleanliness. Jason started yelling that we needed to pay him for a second visit, that he didn't need us as a customer and that he didn't need our money. I have never ever ever been treated this rudely by anyone I do business with, especially as a repeat customer. read more

Was in a big trouble because of lots of ants in the kitchen area. Hired Exterminex pest control we found on yelp based on good reviews and requested a quote. They responded back instantly and provided us a very reasonable quote for the service. Same day in the evening they showed up and eliminated all the ants at once from my kitchen by checking everywhere carefully. They even covered up a small hole made by ants through the tile. Excellent company -- they were polite, timely, and efficient. From the first call to Cindy in the office, to the very nice technician Bobby who came, all worked out well. Unusual for service companies, they actually came when they said they would (and kept me posted on that) and the friendly technician who arrived just did an efficient and no-nonsense job (sometimes companies like to make things seem more complicated, sometimes to add on fees, etc.) I was pleasantly surprised to discover -- just by finding them online and calling cold -- a friendly and efficient company; and they even came and took care of the problem on the same day that I called. read more

I decided to try this company because its local and was extremely disappointed. Every year I have an ant problem. Generally I call an exterminator and get my house sprayed once or twice and problem is solved. I've used Suburban and Knockout in the past and should have called them. I paid the initial 200.00 to have them come and I still had ants. I called them back and was told to wait 2 weeks. My husband had to insist they come back which they were not happy about. After a month I still had ants so I paid another 80.00. Today I call because again after 2 weeks I still have ants and was told I have to pay an additional 80.00. I have never heard of such a thing! Shouldn't they be able to take care of the problem instead asking for more money. I spoke with the manager Jason and he pretty much didn't care what I had to say and told me they are the number one company so my input didn't matter. I called them in to exterminate roaches. There initial charges were $200 for the roaches and another $200 for the crickets. The crickets died within days but I was still seeing roaches. I called the owner because I was very upset I still was seeing the roaches. The owner told me that was common since it takes months to kill roaches. I could not understand that because I was not infested but trusted what he said. Three weeks later I was still seeing roaches especially baby ones. They came back again and charged me $54.00 which they said was my monthly service charge. This was the second time I asked about putting bait and traps down and was told that does not work. I asked about bombing the house and was told that was not needed. Again, about three weeks later still seeing roaches. Of course I needed them to come again for my monthly service of $54.00. I decided to call another exterminator in and he looked at Exterminex's first bill and told me the amount of chemicals that wrote down on the bill that they used was not possible and that they over charged me. He could not understand why I still had the roaches. He charged me $75.00 sprayed the entire house and the roaches were gone within a few days. I called the owner to complain and he screamed at me on the phone that I did not know what I was talking about. The guy that actual came to do my service called me a bitch because I was upset I was still had the roaches. I asked the owner for my money back since he states that in his agreement if a customer is not satisfied he will refund their money. He just kept screaming at me on the phone and saying to me how unedcuated I was. He offered to come back but why would I want him to come back when his employee cursed at me, he screamed at me and the new exterminator already got rid of them.
