This place is a scam. Both my daughter and I had laser packages completed and we still have all our hair. When I called we were told it's temporary hair removal. That's not what the website says. I have had laser hair removal done previously elsewhere and all my hair is gone. When I told them that they said you must have had electrolysis we don't do electrolysis. I was also told a manager would follow up with me. That hasn't happened either. Don't waste your money go elsewhere. I am now out over $600 and tons of wasted time! read more

i've been coming here to get my lashes done since October 2021 & andrea leaves my lashes looking amazing every time. BUT the other people are very rude. yesterday i got my 2 week fill & my right eye was stuck together. she got it unstuck but when I got home my eye was BURNING it began to swell shut & this morning both of my eyes were like that. This has never happened before & I believe it was an allergic reaction to a new glue they started using. I couldn't even drive to work so i ubered. I then was sent home from work because I couldn't open my eyes. I came straight to Eye Candy to get them removed since i was having an allergic reaction to the new glue that NOBODY told me they switched to. The ladies were lazy and didn't want to help me even though they're clients weren't coming in for another 45min. They kept telling me that this happened to me because i've been getting my lashes done for a while & need a break & how I should know when I need a break. Obviously they did not want the blame. FINALLY someone was able to help me out... SHE USED THE WRONG SOLUTION which was super strong and my eyes were burning so bad. She just kept telling me to stop tearing up but I couldn't help it!! They stopped halfway through until someone else was willing to help & finally got them off. read more

Two stars for the great price. Minus 3 for the lack of knowledge and personality on the part of the nurse that injected me. I asked her a question about Juveau (Botox's competitor and has been on the market since 2019) and she had no clue what I was talking about. If this is your life's work how do you not know about a very popular product used to treat wrinkles? I also asked her if the Botox was viscous since it looked like she was having a hard time drawing it up. She had no clue what the word meant. THICKNESS. How do you graduate nursing school and know nothing about viscosity?! That is a normal term she should know. Made me nervous that she seemed so uneducated. Pair that with her complete lack of any kind of personality and SLOW penetration of the needle causing more pain than necessary I was extremely unimpressed. She also asked me to open my eyes and look up then proceeded to rub the alcohol under my eye. The fumes BURNED! Then when checking out I was asked to leave a tip. You NEVER should be asked to tip an RN or Doctor on a medical procedure. This isn't a facial. Is it not industry standard to tip on injectables. Not to mention they took me 20 minutes late without it so much as an acknowledgement of the time. I'm new to the area and in search of a quality medspa and saw their ad and gave it a shot. Initially I asked for a soft cat eye look, but upon examining my eye shape Tyler suggested going with the European set to avoid droopiness on the tail end. I'm 100% happy that I went with his advice. My mom purchased me a Groupon for a micro blading here and I was so so nervous to go through with it after reading the previous mixed reviews. I have spent countless hours researching microbladings and had pretty strong opinions about what I wanted and what I for sure did not want and a laundry list of fears. Sylvia and I butted heads a few times at the appointment about what would be best for me. She's the professional but I'm very particular. I knew I did not want microshading or combo despite my oily skin, and I for sure wanted them to follow my natural shape, no matter how "sad" it made me look. (She should really stop telling customers that I'm the 3rd one that I know of) It took her 3 hours but she ended up doing a great job. My eyebrows look awesome. A little darker than I wanted and slightly uneven, but I am sure they will eventually lighten and the shape is flawless. Thanks eye candy ! They tried but they don't listen and I'm not sure if it's due to language barrier or lack of professionalism. It was either to little lashes or overkill where I looked like a drag queen or Halloween costume. Also she pinched my eyes with appliqués applied so I was uncomfortable during both sessions. I should have known better not to go back after not getting it right the 2nd time. I asked about colors for Lashes and they asked what did I want ? And I asked what do you have , only one color! So why even ask me what I wanted??? And I asked them what they recommend and said all of the lash styles would look good. In my opinion, as a lash specialist, you should help customer decide and make suggestions as I told them I'm New to the "lash thing" and anyway I was not happy. Also They are too$$ for their lack of professionalism and technique. For $10 more I can go to an expert. My lashes fell off quickly which was actually a positive as after a week they look better but a waste of $$$. Also reviews on here are From Previous owner / management so very misleading. I'm very disappointed. I originally had done my full set here at this location. Then decided to do a fill since the first time were so great and lasted my 2-3 weeks Since I was never in their system "according to them" when I called I asked for her name I told the receptionist she was wonderful and I loved her and want to see her again. I was told she would be at Buena Park location. I live 7-10 minutes to the Newport location, Buena Park was a 30 minute drive which I decided to do just to see her. I get there for my appointment and it was a different person but I was already there so I decided to proceed. She seemed professional and knowledgeable. That was on a Sunday, the following day I noticed many fell off, I was okay hopefully that's it. On Tuesday, more fell off and I noticed my lashes had a gap. I mean I just paid to do a fill and not even two days my lashes are way off. I called and was given until Thursday to come in which I had to make some changes around my work schedule. However it is my fault that I was unable to make it. I called and got rescheduled for Sunday (a week from original Fill day) for a "Fix". However I was never told what I was told until I came in. I check in and the technician asked are you here Fix or Fill? I said it's a Fix I got them done a week ago and look at my lashes they are way off and have gaps. She said since I waited more than 3 days from original day she had to charge a fill. I'm sorry but I'm a busy person like many make time to come in for 2 hours of your time to get beautiful. Many have work/kids etc I don't understand how they expect you to come in 3 days right away. I was so upset at that point. It's the principle and nor did I want the lady I was disagreeing with touch my eyes and do work on me. I asked her do you understand my point? I just paid for a fill last week and I have to pay again?? She did not try to correct it or was she nice about it. My first experience was great with Sophie (now that I know her name) she was great and professional so if you decide to give this place a try look for her! I'm beyond upset. read more

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. First off, they try to upsell you for the length of the eyelashes. I have been to so many different eyelash extension place is in never have I been nickeled and diamond over the length of eyelashes. They told me it would only take an hour for a full set which should've been the first red flag. Within three days of getting my eyelashes done (even after not getting them wet for 48 hours) almost half of the lashes fell off. I texted them two days ago showing them a picture and telling them about my experience and didn't even get a text back. I will never go here again. read more
