I originally checked out this location because I had been searching for optometry locations that carried Chanel frames, and for convenience due to how close it is to my home. I don't have an experience to share with having an eye test done because my current prescription is still valid, but the customer service I received from Tiffany (I believe is her name) was amazing. Although, none of the Chanel frames were a proper fit for me I was able to find another pair of frames that I fell in love with. Choosing and ordering my frames was super quick and easy. I had recently lost the screw to one of the legs in my glasses frame, and it was being held together by some staples. I only stopped by on a whim as I was doing some mall shopping Monday morning, and the optometry where I purchased my glasses was closed. I was greeted immediately, and I asked if they had spare screws for my glasses. I was then directed to a nice gentleman whom I explained my situation to, hoping they'd have a spare screw. Without hesitating he said of course, took my glasses and asked me to have a seat. 2 minutes later he returned with not only the screw I needed but had also tightened my glasses for me, they were like knew! I asked him how much I owed, he said it was free of charge. I really wanted to at least tip him but he insisted it wasn't necessary. I was so overwhelmed with satisfaction that I forgot to ask his name. Whoever you are thank you, I really appreciate what you did for me. read more

Thanks to my friend Elite Yelper Debbie Y. for recommending Dr. Kleinman to me. Within hours of me emailing his office my 3-page going on 3-month nightmare of 3 previous doctors not being able to diagnose me properly for glasses (having focus/blurry problems that is causing eye strain, headaches and general fatigue especially on the computer and while reading), Dr. Kleinman gave me a call last week. He was so nice and answered all my questions and said he definitely thought he could help. Since he wasn't in this weekend, he said he fully trusted his other doctors and recommended I see one of them and he would oversea my case next week. So I scheduled the first 10am appointment on Saturday and saw Dr. Dixon Wong (btw there are twin Dr. Wong's there, the other is Dennis I believe). Dr. Wong spent over an hour (like close to 2 I think) doing tons of tests. One of them was a color test where half the letters in the distance were red, the other half green, and through this test (and others) he determined I'm actually between two prescriptions, between -3.75 and -3.50. NO OTHER DR. I'VE SEEN DID THIS TEST and he mentioned many do not. So they have a computer there that determined my exact prescription and with Zeiss Customized Individual lenses, they can make that exact prescription (while most other places can only do stock lenses, meaning you only get prescriptions in .25 increments). The other problem Dr. Wong thinks I've been having is convergence, that my right eye looks out a little too much, so both my are not converging correctly. And this would make sense of why letters on the computer and while reading a book and even street signs at a distance are slightly blurry. Anyhow, Dr. Kleinman is going to review my case on Monday and determine what to do next. So while my problem isn't solved yet, I'm writing this review now because I feel I'm in good hands, and will update the progress. read more

Hadn't been here in like 3 years and finally went this past week and I'm glad I did. I always dread any type of appointment lol I always feel like I will be there foreverrr. But I was in and out within like 35 min which I think is not too bad. I even got some great glasses and my insurance covered them. Just had to pay the copayment and that was all. 5 Stars for Dr Dixon Wong!!! I was way overdue for new contacts calling around looking for an immediate appointment. Fortunatly they took walk-ins and I found myself in the office located in the Montebello Town Center next to Macys. The staff was friendly and helpful and I only had to wait about 40 minutes to see Dr Dixon Wong. He was super nice and made me feel comfortable right away. He really seemed to know his stuff and made me feel he was working hard to get my prescription perfect for how I live. I have a very difficult prescription having really poor vision and needing glasses my entire life having a doc who can appreciate that is really important to me. The shop is small and my ONLY complaint was that I felt the frame selection was a bit limited, especially for men. I am a bit peculiar in my taste so maybe someone else would be ok there as they had some nice styles, but I was looking for something "different" this time around as far as my frames go. But over all I was very happy just finding an awesome doctor like Dr Dixon. If you live in the area you should check out Dr Dixon, you wont regret it! read more

I've been coming here since before the new ownership came in and let me tell you, the new owner's have made a HUGE upgrade to this establishment and the staff is far more friendlier and EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE which to me is very important. This place did a sloppy job of filling in my brand new Ralph Lauren frames. I have a high prescription so i purchased the high index lenses. I received my glasses and the lenses are not even with each other; one lens is protruding obviously more outwards than the other. To make matters worse, my glasses came back lopsided . These were brand new frames i had purchased downstairs from LensCrafters so they hadn't been messed with. Also this place is overpriced on filling in lenses and frames. I only went here because they close at 9pm when most places are closed after work. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Had 4 appts today 2/22/21 Starting @ 4:30 ending @ 5:30. My 3 daughters arrived early and were all finished an hour early before their actual appt time. I show up to my appt at 5 and asked if my husband can be seen and take my daughters 5:30 appt since she was already seen. They said no that he needed an appointment. I said but can't he just take her appointment. The girl with the bangs and tattoos on her right arm said no because they had two others coming in at 5:30. I said but it makes no since. They would still be coming in even if my daughter was taking her original appt. She said no to my husband being seen. We walk away saying how it doesn't make sense but whatever. As we're walking away the two front staff start laughing. I think they were Very unprofessional for acting like that to patients who have been than longer than their employment there. The girl with the bangs was even rude to my daughter when she was trying to talk to her. Answering my daughter before she's even finished asking her question type of rude. Where's the other two professional ladies who used to work there! Btw Doctor was great! That's the only reason why I'm giving 4 stars. read more

Thank you Andrew, one of the Eye People owners, who reached out to us regarding our concerns. After speaking with him, we decided to return to Eye People for our annual exams. We were pleased with the level of caution we observed on this visit. They were prompt, clean and attentive. Employees and customers were wearing masks, hand sanitizer was visibly present and they made sure that we watched them as they wiped down the equipment before each use. When we returned to pick up our glasses, one of the employees even counted the number of customers to ensure that there were not too many people in the store at once. This was a huge difference from our initial experience. We would only like to see that chairs and tables were wiped between customers but otherwise, we felt that Andrew and the staff listened to our concerns and took them seriously enough to make the necessary changes. read more

I have been going to Dr. Kleinman for 3 years. I first started because his office is located across the street from my office building. I have a very hard to fit prescription - high index astigmatism. Dr. Kleinman ordered in multiple trial lenses from different manufacturers and in multiple options until I had just the right fit and was completely happy with the results. He is also very well informed about current information and new products available on the market. The great thing is that all of this has been managed in appointments on my lunch break that last 15-20 minutes tops. I have a co-worker that also uses Dr. Kleinman and she has also had nothing but positive things to say. read more
