HE was the reason that I am amending my review, and I'm sorry that his business may be negatively affected by the manager representing his company. I have been happy with my waxes, so I will return. As it turns out, covid staffing issues mixed with a generic nationwide ad created an issue with getting answers, which is all I wanted. I always feel that while mistakes are made, it's how they are handled that show a businesses true colors. I bought a couple of wax passes for my daughter and I. I had an ad in hand that stated a price, and then was charge $90 more. I noticed before leaving, and the receptionist said that the ads aren't always up to date. I made 12 phone calls over more than a month, was given the run around until I was finally told that they wouldn't honor the advertised price. Beware of the sneaky charges at this place! I realize that I should have noticed immediately, but they were running almost an hour behind on our appointment and I was on the phone rescheduling an appointment that I was about to be late to when the finally got around to ringing it up and letting me sign. $90 is a huge discrepancy!

From seamless appointment booking through text all the way to the service, I can't recommend Lady Lam enough. Christine is very talented at her craft, she thoroughly explains the process of her services and products and you can tell she puts extreme care in the work she does. In the past I tried a few salons to get my Brazilian wax but none of them felt comfortable. My first experience at Lady Lam was so comfortable, Christine made sure I was well situated, was gentle and also distracted me with her wonderful presence. She is a wonderful listener and her studio space is well appointed. I also have for a couple facials with her and they were so relaxing! The prices for all of her services are very reasonable for the service that lasts for a long while. You will need to book with her well in advance (month + recommended) because she is in high demand. In addition, Sepi at Blue Door was the only practitioner who spent time consulting with me, talking through what I wanted as far as design, color etc. She also gave me a lot of information to read before I booked an actual appointment. The day of the appointment, Sepi took as much time as needed to design my brows and settle on a color. She was thorough and precise and was not going to start the process until I was set on the design. The process itself was easy - my brows were numbed and Sepi got to work. It was easy and painless. Sepi also explained the process and what to expect before she started. Sepi did a great job preparing me for the healing process, which can be challenging. Sepi gave clear instructions along with the common FAQs. While healing, your brows will be darker than you are used to; there will also be itching and you'll be tempted to "help" your brows shed - don't do it!! These photos are after my touch up appointment. I am thrilled with my brows and plan to continue to see Sepi for touch ups as needed.

Wouldn't my facialist have said something by now (she hasn't). I've been seeing her every two weeks for 10 years. And I've had my brows waxed for 30+ years. It IS possible to do it correctly.......
