Let me just break it down to you like this: VERY inconsistent results--gave this place 3 chances too many. The ladies will speak in a different language, gossip, and laugh while they are threading. Maybe this is the reason why results are inconsistent... They will push you like there is no tomorrow to purchase membership. One of the women here left one of my eyebrows much shorter than the other. I went back to show her. She said - oh it's just a little shorter and refused to admit there was anything wrong. I called up management to ask for a refund. They said because I had a punch card and I hadn't paid for the service they couldn't refund me and then legitimately HUNG UP on me. Completely shocking customer service. Totally ridiculous. I wish I never bought multiple services, what a scam. read more

The worst customer service I've ever seen. Do not sign up for the membership with them, they are not reliable and they make it very difficult for you to cancel it. I tried to cancel my membership with one of the girl at the Westfield Mall location, and she said it was cancelled and didn't provide me with any receipt. For my surprise, they continued to charge me for the membership and when I called the manager she was terrible, not supportive and also did not want to cancel my membership. This is a SCAM read more

Love this place! $7 for upper lips threading and they do a good job! Don't let the low rating discourage you. I have been coming to this place over a year now. It was a kiosk and now they have their own shop place inside the Westfield mall with the same pricing. I don't come too often so I passed on the 3 months unlimited package, they recommend me a similar one with 5 upper lip threading for 35 bucks and one free service. It's like you get 8 for $35, cheapest I can find in the city and since all they need to do for upper lip threading is just to remove all hair I don't mind going for a cheap and quick service. read more

I have no eyebrows. Seriously, I'm going to have to draw them on. And I started with A LOT of eyebrow. Not dense, but covering a lot of area. Complaints about previous threading: it was done here! And chastising me for bare areas, as if I could will the hair to grow..My membership will be up before I will need to return, and I have over a month left. I went there last week and this woman used scissors to try and arch my brow and they are bluntly cut in the middle and look jacked up! I wanted to yell and demand my money back but instead vowed to never return. I should never have 'cheated' on my waxer 'Elsa' at 'pretty nails' . Prompt service. Listened to my concern regarding one eyebrow being shorter than the other. This eye brow looks great. Unfortunately she stripped the other eyebrow. Now I have eyebrows that are totally different and will have to be shaded in. Never go here. My guess it is too dark for them to actually see what they are doing. And the chairs aren't comfortable. I'm a visitor to San Francisco from New Zealand. I stopped into this salon on a whim as I hate doing my own brows. I usually get them waxed and tidy up with tweezers. I like that walk ins are welcome here and I was greeted warmly. I jumped online to look up the store while I waited and was a bit nervous after reading the bad reviews! There were three other happy customers in store though so I stayed. The beauty therapist who worked with me was nice. She did a good consultation and listened carefully to what I wanted. I told her it was my first time threading and she showed me how to hold my brow tight for her. She also was good about checking in with me and letting me see the results. I was pleased that she also asked before trimming my brow hairs. For me the treatment was painful, but any brow treatment is for me so I wasn't surprised. The price was reasonable ($14.95) considering the location. Witch Hazel was applied to my brows after the treatment when I agreed, I didn't experience a lot of redness and my skin feels good now at the end of the day. I was charged $85 for a 3 months unlimited eyebrows which was a total waste of money. When I went to there the lady was very rude, unprofessional and unskilled. She totally messed up my eyebrows and refused to fix it when I requested... she told me that "You are picking on me". There was hair left where they were not supposed to, but were removed from where they were supposed to be left untouched... I walked home with messy eyebrows and without even a single apology. My backpack, along with my laptop that was in it, was stolen from this location. The employees were extremely unhelpful, and did not even take a minute to help me out. In terms of service, they are mediocre. I tried to cancel my auto-membership, but they are still charging me for another three months even though I tried to stop my payment plan days in advance of my next payment cycle. Usually come to this place to get my eyebrows threaded, which they do an okay job at for some of the time. Some are more professional than others. However, yesterday was not so great of an experience, as on Thursday's they usually close at 8:30. I arrived there 8:12pm and the woman tells me they are closed. I have never had that experience before where they still had plenty of time to do one more person, and yet avoid service. This was very disappointing as this did not ever happen to me in the past, with any other stores. The place was cleaned up and she literally acted like there was so much to do, but I strongly believe she was too lazy to accept one last person even though it was clear there was not much going on. I strongly advise to stay away from this place. There are many other great ones surrounding SF area with more professional and wonderful service. Save your money and bring it elsewhere. read more

I was a frequent customer for 7 months, so I know every single technician, and they were usually nice to me. Finally I bought a 1 year membership card because they seemed nice. Unfortunately, I lost the 1 year membership card after 2 months of the purchase. So, I went to them and asked for a replacement card. The technician said, "There is no need for the membership card. Just bring your valid I.D. and tell us your phone number. That will be fine." So I got my eyebrows threaded, and gave them my I.D. and phone number. Unfortunately, without the membership card they could not find my account?! The machine or their database is broken. So, my usual technician told me I should pay cash since they can't find my 1 year membership card. I've known this technician for MONTHS, and she knows I paid for a 1 year membership. first time coming here and probably the last as well. the lady who threaded my brows cleaned them up, but didn't shape them the way i wanted (i asked for more arched eyebrows but she didn't do it). also, my eyebrows turned out noticeably uneven at the ends. she kept insisting they were even. this place is only good if you want to quick touch up, but not if you want a decent thread. read more

Honestly, if can post w/o a star I would. God damn it, I can't believe I actually got a 3 months membership here which is totally waste. I just go back and re-did my eyebrow after 2 weeks, just want to shape it better. I told the girl (Gita) I want it little thinner but not too thin and a slimmer archer is fine. I END UP WITH HALF OF MY BROW LEFT AND THEY'RE ASYMMETRICAL. Really? When I point it out to her, she is like "it is too thin for me to fix it." No shyt, it is too thin. And she add: "you shld go back to Nisha next time, she know ur brow better." I was totally WTF. You screw up my brows and didn't even apologize. Plus when I point it out and is like it is my fault that I go to her instead the other. Now I have to stuck with asymmetrical brows w/ hardly any hair left. Oh, and after she is done, she didn't even try to help me clean out the hair that is left all over my face. THIS IS HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE AND NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.
