FYI - I had to write this post immediately before my eyebrows were done. When I said had to, I mean my yelp review was checked and read over before I could post it. It honestly felt weird and I felt a bit fake because I was doing what I needed to do to get a discount. (To be honest) in all retrospect, this is a place where you can get a nice quick fix. I was in Oakland for work a couple of weeks ago and was in need for a quick eyebrow touch up. During one of my days in town, I strolled into San Francisco for a bit looking for a decent eyebrow threading spot. I went to Eyebrow Plus because of the reviews. Glad I did. My time there was quick but they made sure to get my eyebrows to look how I wanted. To be honest, compared to what I pay in NYC it is a little pricier but hey if you need a last minute place it's all good (also a few dollars never hurt anybody). No complaints otherwise. The manager is terrible, loud spoken, has no understanding of how to run a business. After providing terrible service, I was politely talking to her and asking about the services they provide and prices, and she started yelling at me and telling me that I was "irritating her". Ugh, I wish I didn't have another 11 sessions that I already paid for. The women who work here are good but the owners seem to always understaff them. Waits are often 30-45 minutes. They used to be like 10-15. I went twice today, each time waited 30-40 minutes before I had to abandon the wait because I still wasn't next and needed to be somewhere. Guess I'll continue to come here until I use up what I already paid for and then find another spot. read more

Closed during COVID-19 but why did you charge me the quarterly membership fee when I cannot use your services? I've emailed and called for a month now. I've left my number starting with 1-888 that's on my invoice. the automated system said the lines are busy and someone will call back. I left my number but no one ever called back. No one ever replied to any of my emails, texts, or phone messages. I've been a customer for nearly 10 years. I'm starting think you are running an illegitimate business or scam. WORST place ever! I highly recommend NOT going here. Pavirta mentioned my eyebrows look bad. Well, lady you made them look bad. Is it that hard to shape the brows if you do this at a professional level? Instead she blames the person before messed up my brow. Strange, that I had eyebrows coming here and now I have one brow that has hardly any hair because she trimmed way too much and shaped the other incorrectly. Ugh. I hate this place. My usual eyebrow place closed so I hadn't had my brows threaded in a little over a month. I was shopping at the Westfield Mall when my husband wanted to go inside the Fossil store. While I was waiting outside, Nisha asked if I wanted to get threaded. I thought about it and asked how much for brows & lip. She said $22. I said that was expensive so she said she can do it for $20 (my old place charged $17). Since it had been over a month, I decided to do. Nisha was very friendly and did a great job. She informed me they offer a 3-mo membership at $65 for unlimited brow & lip threading at any of their locations. Luckily they have 2 locations closer to where I live. She referred a few estheticians upon my request and said that she even travels to one of the locations. Since it was a really good price, I decided to get the membership. Hopefully the people at the other locations do a good job like Nisha. read more

I come here every week or twice a week. Today, I came and this new lady did my Eyebrows, her name is Dipika, haven't seen her before, as she cleans up my eyebrows, she gotten deep with the thread trying to take out the little hair but as she goes deep, I felt the most painful thread pushed on my upper left brow. After it was done, she handed me a mirror and I noticed right away that my upper left brow had a mark of redness and almost bleed. After, I asked for who is the manager to report the incident, and they said there is NO manager. And I asked the 2nd time Isitale then claimed that she is the Manager for that location and San Bruno location. I was telling her how painful this was to me. I've never experienced it with the other ladies. As I asked for the manager again and her name she keep saying "OH MY GOSH" few times. Totally not how you should handled a customer! And if she was the manager, you would have known better. She apologized but it wasn't sincere that she makes gestures that doesn't please you that your apologetic, also she said it happens. So, it just happened that I almost got a scar.( I will come back and have you check this if I get scar). She even told me, if I want to go to Hospital, and get stitches done. So, I walked in without any pain and scars and what I will get after is pain and scar? This is absolutely ridiculous. I agree with the other reviews. I have tried calling eyebrow plus for months since covid started and they do not return my calls. I paid for the yearly membership fee last year and did not get a refund due to covid. I think they should be reported to the BBB. Do people want to join in reporting? read more

I do not recommend them unless you just need a quick cleanup. I have been getting threading done on my face for a few years now and I have to say that I have had better professionals. This location is great because it is right in the mall on 3rd floor at a kiosk. I usually walk-in and the typical wait time is 10-20 minutes. A bit too pricey for me but I am sure they charge more because of their location and not the quality. Non-member: Chin + upper lip + eyebrows = $32 Poor Quality: I have been there at least 10 times now and every single time I return with an "okay" reaction and never a "good" reaction. They don't have enough lighting at the kiosk so they think they remove all the hair, but when you stay outside is when you realize you have a lot of leftover hair. They really need to increase the lighting so that they can see better. Some of the professionals are better than the others. read more

For such low reviews, this place seems to always have a long wait. With saying that, there is no more than 2 ladies on duty every time I have stopped by (Thursdays and Friday). First of all, I never write reviews and I'm writing this because I'm mad as hell! I'm a frequent customer for about 10 months now since my past eyebrows place closed down. I had never had a terrible service at Eyebrow Plus till today! My eyes get very watery after I get my eyebrows done so I'm not able to see 100% how they turn out. Once I got home later on in the day, I noticed that there was a huge chunk of one of my eyebrow missing! I have had smaller problems at this place concerning slight different shapes in each eyebrow but this is just very unprofessional and done poorly! Since I don't wear makeup in my eyebrows, I'll have to deal with one eyebrow looking like there's half of it missing. They lost my business! read more

This review is for the new(ish) storefront, not the kiosk. I have the three month membership for threading and have been happy enough with their services that I recently renewed for a second three month period. I had one pretty terrible experience about three months ago with a new beautician who over-threaded my right eyebrow. I'll give credit to one of the other beauticians, who wouldn't let the first woman touch my eyebrows again and finished the job. Good news is that I haven't seen the offending beautician since then, and I've been to the salon probably six times in the last three months. Anita does a great job, but I think she's only there some weekdays. Regardless of who helps you, make sure to clearly communicate what you want (shaping vs. clean up), and you will likely be happy with the results - and the membership price, which can't be beat if you require as much eyebrow maintenance as I do! read more

Ive had really great experiences here, but after my visit today I was not happy with my service. A girls eyebrows aren't something to play with, like real talk. I came in emphasizing and repeating how l ONLY wanted a cleaning and leave them thick because l really liked my shape. Anita gave my eyebrows a whole new shape, more than a cleaning at this point,and had left them uneven and she just kept trying to justify that SHE wanted to give them a different shape. I really wish I had checked on yelp before I stopped here. I got my brows done and was talked into getting my upper lip done too. I have to say she did a good job with the shape of my eyebrows (luckily she didn't take off too much like the other girls here) but it was more painful than usual, which should have been a red flag on my part. Now, I've never had my upper lip done so I can't say for sure that it was more painful than it should be but today, one day later, the skin is even more irritated and pimply looking; my brows too, but not as much. Maybe it comes down to proper training and it would be lesson learned OK move on except that I went for the membership too, so now I have to go see if I can get my money back since I'm bound to have worse luck with another lady if I go back. Eyebrows Plus is located inside Westfield Mall in San Francisco. My friend and I went to get our eyebrows threaded, we went in and was able to get a seat very fast. The lady that did our eyebrows is called Sharmila. I like how we were able to get in quickly and they finished the job very quickly as well with amazing results. read more

Do not buy a membership here! You may think that you are getting a great deal and you probably are, until the owner decides to offer you an even better deal (4 months for the price of 3), and then closes the store a week later. That is what happened to me in Sacramento. I have called and emailed several times, and have not received any reply. This establishment definitely stole my money and I will never, ever do business with them again. Fortunately, I am moving back to SF where there are many other threading businesses that are professional and I will be happy to support. read more

When I arrived at 7:20pm (they close at 8:30pm), there was no line and two staff. One of them was working on someone, the other one available. The available staff told me that she couldn't take me because she gets off work at 7:30pm. Trimming eyebrow for me typically takes 5 min for me. She literally spent the next 10 min getting ready to get off work and stepped out at 7:30pm sharp. I ended up waiting for the other staff and only got helped 25 min later. I understand that not everyone strives for good work ethic. But as a customer, I would give a high rating to those who do and a low rating to those who do not. read more

I've been going here for years and the service is great every time. The only downside is that sometimes this location gets busy and the wait times can be upwards of 20-30 minutes. I go here because it is cheap, so this is definitely a no-frills sort of establishment (it used to be one stalls in the middle of the mall! In reality though, what else do you need from an eyebrow salon? This place is definitely cheaper than benefit and my end result here is arguably better than at benefit. After your skin gets used to threading, the redness goes down. I leave now with minimal redness in the area, which is something I could never say after getting a wax! read more
