I wouldn't trust them to tell me the time of day! Previously brought my '02 Accord for an oil change, 15 minutes in, I get a text stating that I have "a large amount " of oil underneath the car, which to be fair, I was leaking oil but any sane mechanic would realize it's BEEN leaking.. I was told they'd clean ALL the oil from the under carriage and I would need to return in about a week in order to pinpoint the leak. Upon inspecting my car later that day, I found 70% of the oil previously there before, still under the car. They did not do the work they were paid to do. Was also asked what kind of car I have in order to get a price quote for a TIRE PATCH!! $25!! Went to Tire Zone in Covina where they looked at me funny when I told them this. These guys did more than just save my car but they saved my life. Late afternoon I noticed a huge nail severely pierced into my tire. All other places I contacted wouldn't take me in because most places around the area were getting ready to close. That included this location too. The nail piercing was very bad, there was no telling when my tire might pop and I drive long commutes. I wasn't sure if I might make it home safely that night. Despite also being near closing hours too these guys generously took me in and made sure to get the job done in helping me replace a new tire and even went the distance to help me check my other tires. Definitely do come here at reasonable hours though or call ahead of time, but yeah these guys really helped me out in a pinch and get back home safely. I'm very grateful. Went in for the advertised $19.95 oil change. Don't bother. It's a scam. They wanted to charge me $60 for the $20 special because my 2018 was too new. I asked how old to qualify. They said only old cars. I asked, you mean like 2000s? They said yes. I came back with my 2002 car. They wanted still wanted $60. I came back with my own oil and filter. My second time trying this place, my steering wheel was slightly off center so I came in for alignment. When I came back the wheels looked crooked like they were about to fall off!!! The car was undriveable so we went back to see if they can fix it. We were told that the truck was aligned to manufacturer specs and we were overreacting. We tried to reason with them to fix the alignment as it was completely worse and we were told unless we were going to spend more money we had to leave. We got the truck properly aligned at Neil's across the street with NO additional parts or repairs... we have started a BAR investigation. I hate car/tech/mech stuff. So I get really stressed out about getting ripped off, more car issues, etc. So YESSSS I'm so grateful that this place exists and I found it! Contacted this place after scouting out quotes for A1 service light of Acura came on. Terry got in touch with me right away and no fuss etc. I showed up 3 weeks later (lol- I had a bad schedule) and still welcomed me open arms. David took care of me and he was zippy and cool. It honestly felt like a cool uncle was hooking me up with car work. Note: there isn't a solid waiting area with cookies, coffee, or bottled water- but who cares?! For the kind of friendly, personal, and super affordable service you're getting- I'd rather they focus on that delivery than all the unnecessary up charges in other places. Came in at 4:30 pm Monday afternoon , for a simple patch on a tire , normally when I get a tire patched it takes 10-20 minutes ( trust me I have had lots of flats because low profile tires) As I write this review I still am waiting for my tire to be patched oh and by the way there's no other customers. At a $35 price to patch a tire , I believe the service should be speedier , I don't mind the charge , the wait is unnecessary. Hate to have give a bad review but time is money. Slowest freaking service ever , at 5:15 got into an argument with one very sassy Asian male , because I've complained how long this has taken ... Had a flat and needed it replaced quickly. Was in and out in about an hour, decently priced too!

I have been here for over 2 hours for 2 tires. First I was told they had some in stock for 120 a piece and then they only had ones at 140. There was only 1 other customer when I arrived. The gentleman left my car to work on another vehicle and a fourth vehicle came and went and yet I'm still here. Going to have to pay a pretty penny for terrible service and extremely long wait. $290and 2.5 hours later I am finally leaving. Hope it wasn't a race/ethnicity thing but it didn't feel welcoming and didn't feel prioritized. Only reason I ended up here is I hit a pothole and this was nearest tire shop. read more

I unfortunately came to this place because of the high rated reviews. Had came by for an oil change and inspection on brakes and rotors since the regular mechanic that I go to wasn't available at the time and wanted to get my car serviced for the Labor Day weekend. The more I talk to Matt, the more untrustworthy he sounded. $45 for 5k synthetic oil which is fine. He had quoted $29.99 on yelp but I get it if that is their price now. The quote for replacement brakes is $139 and resurfacing rotors would be $20. The mechanic did an inspection on the brakes and said it was fine. The biggest red flag is when replacing the oil, they found that my oil pan was losing it's treading and they mentioned I would have to replace it. The cost would be $80 and the labor would $139. I told them I will just do the oil change for now then come back to get it fixed later. 10 min later, the mechanic says that since the tread is wearing off, the want to put in a bigger bolt and would have to drill a bigger hole for this bolt to fit. I refused and said that I will just leave it as is for now and will have it fixed next time. Matt started to get frustrated and said I must sign a waiver. What I didn't understand was when they bolted it up with the original, it seemed to be fine and wasn't leaking, which they argued that it is not completely tightened. I spoke to my original mechanic today and he said there's a possibility that it may be stripped. Now I have to bring it to his shop to get it checked out. The whole oil change took 1 hr and 30 min. Another thing is that after I refused to use an oversized bolt and wanted to just complete the oil change, they wanted to kick me off from viewing distance of what they're doing. Then the mechanic removed the bolt for some reason. All they needed to do was bring the car down and put in the new oil. At this point, I lost all trust in them since they wouldn't allow me to see what they're doing to my car. After they bolt it up the 2nd time, I wanted to check to make sure nothing shady was going on. They weren't willing to let me take that 2nd look to make sure they bolted it properly. Finally irritable Matt had the car lifted and bolted it with the wrench to show that it's tightened. I don't understand how this place has so many 5 star reviews. As I read these reviews, I did not get the superb treatment that was mentioned at all. In my opinion, they look like fake reviews. There were two customers at the time I was there and from their interactions with Matt, they also ran into new issues. Overheard one customer suddenly have two nails in his tire. prior to my visit here, i had torn a side chunk off the passenger front wheel while parking awkwardly on the curb one morning. i didn't think much of it until i continued driving around the city for a few days and eventually noticed a bubble forming at the site. can't say it looked good, but i managed to find and make my way here. after the shop informed me that the bubble was a driving safety hazard, it was about an hour before i drove out with a new front pair of tires (at a price point of my choosing) and an alignment to fix the drift. while car repair bills are rarely pleasant, it could've been worse, as they say. read more

Don't come here. They said they will ask for your permission before they change your filters and yet they didn't. I just changed my cabin air filter two weeks ago and they changed it without letting me know and charged me for it. And when I ask, the guy gave me super nasty attitude and said it's a "rule" they you have to change it every 7000-10000miles. I told him I just changed it two weeks ago and he said it's impossible. Headed in to get a an oil change. Took about 2 hours. People left because of the wait I did not mind but have had service faster. I let them be since it is 2 men. I took off three stars because the man UPSELLS hard. I told him I did not want a filter and he came back to show me it was dirty to have me change my mind (-1) Then the tire still remained low with the sensor on and I told the man but he said to drive it and it'll turn off (-2) Last is the UPSELL again for car maintenance. But the reason for this bad review was that my last experience as far as customer service was very poor. I called in regards to a quote, gave all the information needed in regards to the work I needed done but was still told they would have to call me back to give me quote. I understood and let a day go by, didn't hear back. Called again, call was declined but received a text asking how they can help me. I reiterated what I already told them with all the info needed for the quote. Never heard back and it's been 4 days. Keep in mind every other shop I called, I was given a quote on the initial phone call. i came here to patch up my tire that had a nail in it and was scammed by the owner. he said i needed a new tire (mind you my car is brand new, leased in oct so the tires are in pristine condition) and that the tire couldn't be patched up due to the location of the nail. he proceeded to run me a quote for a new tire that's $410. that didn't seem right to me so i called my cousin & he referred me to his friends shop that was able to patch it up fairly quickly with no issues. this place charged me $35 for pumping some air in the tire & so called "inspection fee". i wouldn't recommend anyone coming here to patch their tire. read more

I got a flat tire during my work break and needed a new one. Anyway, when I went to a car shop nearby, they let me know that my tires were all the the wrong size. Last place to replace a tire was EZ tire stop. I just wish they would've checked on the side of my door for which size tire I needed and let me know that they weren't correct sizes. Instead they just placed the wrong sized tire on my car and sent me on my way. I called them and they denied having put the wrong tire size. According to the invoice, they had placed the correct one. Yet that was the last place I'd gone to. It really could've only been their mistake. I wish they would've owned up to it. He did mention that the warranty was already expired so either way it didn't matter. The warranty had indeed expired, but it doesn't mean they didn't make a mistake. I had gone to this place for about a year and I was hoping it would be my new regular spot. However, I don't know too much about cars, so I was trusting them. I'm sure it was an honest mistake, but I can't take such risks in the future. It pains me to give negative reviews, but they kind of messed up and didn't own up to it. Been here a couple of times. First visit had an alignment, took about an hour and was fairly priced. Second, hand my tires re balanced and an oil change. Took a little longer than the estimated time, but they were busy so it was understandable. They are open 7 days a week, I believe, so you can come in any day of the week. 10/13/19 Came here because the low tire pressure light lit up on the dash of my daughter's car. I took the car yesterday to get air filled, the tire had only 10 lbs of air. I saw a nail in the tire. Ez Tire Stop said there was no leak they removed the nail had no air leak. They said they put the tire in water there's no leak. I was going to pay the fee of $25 they told me no charge. Wow that was not expected, these guys are really honest. If the tire ever develops a leak I will certainly come back to this shop. read more

Last week I drove into Alhambra for work. When I reached my first destination my tire pressure monitor came on. I had a few more stops and at the last stop I noticed my rear passenger tire was getting low. I went to the gas station to add air to the tire. While I was doing that I could hear the air coming from the top of the tire. I knew I had a nail or screw in the tire. I jumped on Yelp and looked for the closest tire shop. EZ Tire Stop it was... When I drove in, I was greeted by David. Very friendly and welcoming young man. He ask what I stopped in for and I explained. No problem David said, we need about 30 to 45 minutes to complete the patch. He said they patch from the inside of the tire not from the top. Sounds good to me! 40 minutes later the tire was back full of air and no leak! I enjoyed the customer service provided, it made a long day not so long. I was back on the road driving home to San Diego. I have intentionally waited a week to write this review. I wanted to make sure no further leaking. The tire is perfect and holding air. read more

I had a nail in one of my tires. I was in the neighborhood so I stopped by. One of the two office guys quoted me $35. It was high but I agreed to it anyway. He told me about 30 minutes. 40 minutes into it it was still not worked on. If they're this unreliable on a simple tire patch, I can't imagine how they are with other services. I was there for 1:15 hours for a simple tire patch. When I asked why it was taking so long, the other office guy accused me giving him attitude. He started the aggression. I was just asking and he provoked me with accusation. One of the guys in the office waited inside the office for me to drive off then opened the door to shout fuck off as I was driving away. They're two mainland chinese hoodlums. Classless mainlanders. I'm marking off EZ tire store for any future services. Liars, rude, and expensive. I hope they and their business rot. read more

Everyone here was nice, so I feel bad leaving this review, but, man, you do not want to go through what I did... I asked the shop to swap two worn, low profile front tires (245/35R20) for new ones of the same size and model. I gave them the PSI and torque rating I wanted, as well. After *90 minutes* of struggling, they told me they couldn't figure out how to mount the tire and I would have to wait until tomorrow for another employee who knows how to mount low profile tires (and *leave my car there overnight* because they could not put the original tire back on either). The next day, they text me in the morning to say they managed to mount the tires (thankfully, as I was worried I'd have to tow my car to another shop). When I arrived, I discovered they overtorqued the wheel bolts, the wheels were smeared with grease and soap, and long bristles from a brush were stubbornly stuck in between the rim and the tire in several places. On the bright side, they got the tire pressure right! For this major inconvenience, they offered to drop the tire disposal fee. Also, it was a super hot day, so they kept my car in their garage (i.e. out of the sun) until I could come by, which I appreciated, as well. For these two gestures, I gave an extra star. Needless to say, when it comes time to replace my rear tires, which are a tighter fit and even lower profile, I'll be visiting one of the other three shops I've used in Central LA and Alhambra, none of which have ever had an issue mounting these exact tires. read more

EZ Tire AR Center is an autoshop that offers diagnostic and repair on major car brands such as Audi, MB, Honda, Toyota, BMW etc. I came early Saturday (7/27/19) morning to have a wheel alignment service. I was greeted by Patrick and Matt. I filled up the paper work and my car got serviced first. Patrick, mechanic, completed the computerized wheel alignment in 60 mins and he test drive my car around the block before handing it to me. I was very, very satisfied with the service and staff (Patrick and Matt) were very amiable, honest and professional. Prices were fair and competitive. Total cost was $49 bucks instead of $69 because of Yelp% purchase. Cash or CC is accepted. Definitely I will repeat business with them again.
