I met one of my sorority sisters for dinner, someone I hadn't seen in quite a while and we chose Ezov for our long-overdue catch-up. One of the first things you notice when you walk in is the eye symbol displayed throughout the restaurant. According to the staff, it's meant to bring positive energy, and honestly, the vibe starts working immediately. As first-time Ezov diners, we were completely captivated by the décor. From the beautiful oversized colorful lanterns to the vibrant graffiti art (which also extends to the exterior of the building) and sleek modern furnishings. The space felt both stylish and inviting. We instantly slipped into relaxation mode. Ezov's menu features Mediterranean-inspired dishes designed for sharing, so we selected three items: the Whipped Bulgarian Feta, Lamb + Beef Manti, and Grilled Branzino. Let me start by saying I don't recall ever having whipped Bulgarian feta before, and it was a delightful surprise. Smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor, the combination of honey and hazelnuts elevated the dish even further. The Lamb + Beef Manti was the standout of the evening and easily my favorite dish. It was an incredible explosion of flavors and textures...a thin, crispy flatbread layered with rich tomato ragu, tangy yogurt sauce, and chili oil. Every bite was absolutely delicious. If I could have ordered a second round, I probably would have. The Grilled Branzino, served with peas, kale, and peppers, was also enjoyable. To be fair, the kale was a bit coarse for my taste, but my friend happily took care of most of it. James, our server, was fantastic. He guided us through the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and checked on us at all the right times without being intrusive. While the shareable plates are on the pricier side, sometimes it's worth treating yourself to a memorable dining experience. Between the flavorful Mediterranean cuisine, the energetic atmosphere, and the opportunity to reconnect with a dear friend, our evening at Ezov was well worth the splurge.

Went out for a ladies night here and let me tell you this place keeps up to all the hype ! They offer free Valet parking on Friday and Saturday- so parking was a breeze ! We had made a reservation so as soon as we walked in we were seated inside in a booth ! The place felt cozy and comfortable as well as nice vibes ! They even offer bar seating ! They have a covered and temperature controlled patio too ! Our server was amazing and professional and answered all our questions about drinks and other stuff ! The cocktail were amazing - I was curious about their onion bagel drink I think that's what's it's called and my server got me a sampler ... definitely I went with something else . We ordered few dips and appetizers and 2 entrees! Everything was delicious! To end the night we got the Krembo dessert and OMG it's a must try !! Can't wait to ge back soon !!

My local friend presented us with options and I'm so glad this was where we went! Way too hot to sit outside during a mid-June heatwave, so we were glad for the nice cool and airy interior; it's nice how you immediately forget that there's a pretty busy street outside. Super friendly host and servers made us feel happy to be there right away. With our cocktails we were pleasantly surprised with a one-bite amuse-bouche of pressed watermelon with little beads of something a bit tangy on top, and mint; such a perfect hot-weather bite to open up the tastebuds. After that we shared several dishes, which is what they encourage you to do, and I am 100% here for this range of plates: there are dips and meze, sides and mains, and pretty much anything mixes and matches. We appreciated our server's advice on quantities and how much to order--we were there for a full dinner, but also on our way to a concert so we didn't want to feel too full either--and shared a sunchoke appetizer, cucumbers with labne, the beef skewer, and a bunch of toasted flatbread to mop everything up. The plates are pretty generous and on a hot night this was perfect for 3 of us. Everything was fantastic: buttery sunchokes with again some kind of tangy umami-bomb hit I can't quite place but was delicious; beef skewers the perfect mid-rare with char on the outside, great spices; and my absolute favorite, the cucumbers. I know: cucumbers, right? How exciting can they be? Well, I'll tell ya that on top of this labne (which is smoked) and whatever spice they put in there, and the fact that the cukes were a miraculous nirvana apex of crisp and tender, I could eat these all dang day every single day during summer. I would seriously come back to Ezov for the sole purpose of having these cucumbers again, they were that good. Truly it was all excellent, and you can really tell they're using top-quality ingredients; it's great to be able to chow down and still feel healthy afterward! And I love how these were familiar Eastern Mediterranean flavors, combined with some clear cheffy know-how that didn't make anything overly fussy at all, but demonstrated technique and brought in some fresh and unexpected taste combos. I'd love to try every single thing on the menu--grilled branzino! seared octupus! allllll the dips and spreads!--but unfortunately it won't work to Doordash it to Portland Maine, so I'll just have to dream about it until my next Austin visit when I will 100% be there again.

Falafel, Whipped Bulgarian Feta, Fire-Roasted Eggplant, Bread, and Yellowfin Crudo

Overall: 4.3/5 [dine in] We came on the Sunday after Valentine's Day for dinner and were lucky to snag an 8 PM reservation, since every other restaurant we called had a 1+ hour wait. The cocktails and appetizers came out in a reasonable amount of time, but the entrees took a while. They served us complimentary bread, which was perfect for pairing with the dips, though I found it a bit too thick for my taste. Service was great throughout the night and the place had a unique vibe as well. Falafel ($13): Four huge falafel, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Delicious and warm, and even better with the tahini, amba, and green schug sauce. Fire-Roasted Eggplant ($13): Yummy on its own, but I'm not sure it's worth $13. Whipped Bulgarian Feta ($13): The favorite of the table and an absolute standout. Pairs perfectly with the bread. Yellowfin Crudo ($18): The pomegranate flavor tasted artificial and the fish was just alright. Skip this one. Merguez NY Strip ($38): Delicious and far better than the chicken shawarma. Tender meat cooked to perfection, and the pairing with grapes was genius. Chicken Shawarma ($28): Apparently one of their most popular entrées, but it wasn't our favorite. It's served deconstructed, so you have to cut the chicken off a mini skewer yourself and build your own wrap. Lots of spices, but the flavors weren't the most memorable of the night. With so many plates on the table, it also made the whole process a bit awkward. I would have preferred it served as individual mini versions instead. Moroccan Marg ($16): Tequila, hibiscus, pomegranate, Licor 43, orange blossom, and lemon. Pretty good and easy to drink.

I really don't understand the hype and so many positive reviews for this place!! I came across their Galentines day brunch thing on insta, me and my friends were thinking of trying this place, so made reservations for it. If it's for just food, I would've given 1star but service was good, so 2stars. We dint needed reservations at all, we came at 11:30, only 30%was occupied, that should've been our first clue, and there was one cheap decor on one of there wall for Galentine's day, that should've been our second clue, but we still decided to try them out because I regularly go to E&R(one of my faves), and it's I think ezov is owned by same people or company, that got me fooled. I ordered hummus, pita and falafel, that's my standard order at Mediterranean restaurant, and none of them were good, falafel looked good, but they had added so much herbs, and I'm some one who loves and regularly uses herbs in cooking, but this one, it was so overwhelming and you get big stems in between, and they have not added any other spices to balance the herbs, it was in edible. Hummus, it dint had no flavor at all, I've never tasted such bland tasteless hummus, like not even seasoned with basic salt, the only thing those chickpeas tasted was sourness. Pita, well it tasted more like hamburger bun than pita. I ordered Dubai or don't, it's like espresso martini, it tasted good, but they served in mini cocktail glass and its was 50%drink 30%foam and 20%empty cup, basically 1/3rd of how much other places serve. Overall, you want to eat Mediterranean but it should be totally bland or if you like food to look good to post on social media, then this is the place, if not skip it.

Back at Ezov for the 3rd time and this place does not disappoint! The service is alway on point and the food is so flavorful we can never decide on what to get! We end up ordering most of the menu! Ha! You can fill up on small plates alone and be satisfied! We had the pastrami lamb, beef skewer and chicken shawarma for our mains and the winner of the night was the chicken shawarma! Presentation was awesome! We started with the sunchoke hummus, whipped feta (oh so good), grilled halloumi (amazing), tomato fattoush, octopus and manti. The bread that is served is to die for. I'm not a bread person but I appreciate good bread and this stuff is so yummy, just enough crispy on the outside and flight and fluffy on the inside! The everything bagel martini is a must. Our host Gabe and server Victoria were awesome!!!! You have to get the baked Knafeh for dessert. TRUST me! It's like a baked Brie and blackberry cobbler made baby. The crust is the stuff used in Dubai chocolate. It was fantastic!!!!!

Ezov is great! And I totally get why the NYT had called it one of its favorite spots in the country. Of course, it's exciting getting more Israeli / Mediterranean spots in ATX, and Ezov really lived up to the hype. As soon as i pulled in I was very excited to park next to an absolutely stunning red Ferrari and see the Ezov sign in the front (like the way the restaurant signs in Austin are in front of the buildings). Walked in and the space is beautiful - wood beam rafters inside, walls with Hebrew graffiti near the bar. The tables had a light wood color and the flatwear was really nice. Went for brunch and it was so hard to decide what to order but I really was on a quest to compare the chicken schnitzel to that of Motek (Miami & NYC) and Abbale (Miami), the latter of which I had last week. So we went with the hummus & pita for app, had the latkes and schnitzel. I went with a Turkish cold brew to drink which had such a great flavor to it. Our server James, super helpful and nice. The hummus with the chickpeas was some of the best Ive had. The pita was also fantastic. The latkes with over easy eggs on top was really a delicious dish. The schnitzel sandwich, had a very nice challah bun, egg plant and slaw, sauce was also very, very good. I will say it wasn't quite at the level of Abbale (my fave) because I thought the chicken was a bit too thick, maybe not quite as crispy as they do there. But I am kind of nit picking a bit. That said, my sandwich was $18 while the Miami Beach version is $28! crazy. Desserts - had the Lebanese pistachio bread and server recommneded this chocolate coffee cake, which is to me, a true Austin highlight! Overall, I can't wait to come back to Ezov, will def recommend it and will bring friends/family when they come to visit. I know some of the hospitality group's other restaurants are on the Chase exclusive tables, maybe Ezov will show up there also!

Quite an interesting place with a pleasant interior and an unusual presentation of the dishes. Many of the plates don't really match the traditional or expected way those dishes are usually served. The hummus was tasty, and the meat was quite juicy. Our server messed up the order a bit, it seemed like he either forgot or something went wrong, because we waited for a long time and had to ask twice. In the end, one dish that was supposed to be a starter arrived more than an hour later. Overall, the experience was still pleasant, but the prices are above average. If you want to feel full, you'll probably need to order two or three dishes. We also tried the cocktails, interesting and unusual flavors, but not really something classic that would appeal to everyone.

Such as amazing dinner! Would highly recommend the seared octopus, such a unique flavor. Our server was great and very attentive. All our courses were fantastic but the focaccia that came with the feta was a little too garlicky and masked the feta flavor, but still a tasty combo.

This place was cool, a good spot for a date night or group dinner! The inside is a vibe and I loved the decor. Food was fantastic! Whipped feta was a highlight. Our waiter was helpful and knowledgeable about GF. Editing to add: the carrots were a bit undercooked, they tasted better as leftovers microwaved. Also, the knives provided were so dull we couldn't cut the wagyu (or the carrots for that matter)

The food was top tier! My friends and I stopped in and ordered a mix of appetizers and main meals, and they were sooo fresh, flavorful, and delicious! I wish I lived near Austin, otherwise I'd be here once a week.

Honestly, I loved the food and service was very nice aside us going for a birthday celebration lunch. Everything was fine until a vermin looking "beetle" crawled on the wall close to us and made us change our mind about dessert-- the beetle was not killed but released back into nature which funny enough later found its way back to the dining inside patio area.... vermin-looking "beetles" are just not acceptable in dining locations

not sure what this was but it was beef, i think its new on their menu? It was flavorful and tender, delicious but i wasn't fully wow'ed

What I expect out of champagne. We got a philippe jouan (aka pinot noir) bottle which was so delicious. For food, we got the baguette and a egg confit dish that was divine. Then wrapping up, we got a single glass of produttori del barbaresco and capellano barolo. These were super old wines from the 80s and boy were they screaming tertiary notes. Awesome experience. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, we spent around $270 for a bottle of pinot noir, two glasses of really old wine and a sneak peek bite of their tasting menu. Will be back to try more wines and food.

The Scarlett crab was soo good and added the perfect amount of saltiness and sweetness to the comforting soup! For our mains, we got the duck which had a delicious hoisin sauce.
