I can't review the actual facilities nor the actual taste of the food. We placed a large order through Uber Eats. Everything was fine... until 1 HOUR LATER... when all of a sudden they simply cancelled the order. I can't believe the bad service. Will be lodging a complaint with Uber Eats against those place. This is my favorite little sushi place in Glendora, it's not AYCE which is a little disappointing, however they make up with the daily happy hour from 3-7 pm. The other day I went to Ezze Sushi for happy hour. We ordered three rolls: Devil, Sunset on Grand, and Rainbow. Each roll was at a happy hour price of $7, which is a great price, but you get what you pay for. If I were to rate each out of 5, based solely off of taste it would be Devil-3.5, Sunset-3, and Rainbow-2. Devil and Sunset are both covered in sauce which add flavor. The fish that topped each roll was paper thin and the rolls were mostly rice. Probably the worst Rainbow roll I have ever ordered. We also ordered 2 rounds of 5 pieces of albacore sashimi and 5 pieces of salmon sashimi. The sashimi was extremely fresh and delicious, but the sizes of the pieces were inconsistent. Some were cut thinly and some were nice thick slices. Overall, I would rate Ezze Sushi a 3.5. The rolls were mediocre but it's hard to find rolls at $7 each. The sashimi was tasty but some pieces were cut really small. I definitely recommend having the sashimi over the rolls. If you like eating rolls, as I do, Sushi Show is vastly superior. read more

The food here is ok. The biggest problem is the wait staff. I came here twice and both times, the same 2 waitresses run the floor. One sort of mumbles and the other rolls her eyes at you from the moment you walk in. She basically acts like she's annoyed that she has to take an order or walk your food from the sushi bar to your table. A whopping 7 foot distance. If this was one incident, I'd chalk it up to this waitress having a bad day. But the second time, she was even more rude than than the first. I placed an order through DoorDash last night based on the excellent reviews on Yelp. It did not arrive (DoorDash's fault), so I was given a credit for the $41 I would have spent on the 3 items I ordered - which were the fried onion appetizer, super cut roll and a chirashi bowl. So, after that initial disappointment, I decided to give it another try today. I should have taken last nights events as a sign, this place is awful. Let's start with the presentation...no wasabi, one pair of chopsticks, TINY portions, and amateur/careless cuts of fish in the chirashi bowl. The onion app was soggy and impossible to pull apart, the super cut roll was just bad, and the chirashi ($16.95) was warm and the fish was definitely NOT fresh. All of this for $41+. Luckily for me, my order was almost an hour late, and I was given another credit, because, had I paid actual money for this garbage I would be livid. Wrote this review after my second time here. The first experience was pretty lousy, but based on the 4.5 stars it has (*puzzled look*) I gave it another chance. This was worse than the first. I got the same crappy server, uninterested and poor attentiveness. The fish was mediocre at best. I don't bother with sashimi or nigiri here. Don't go here make the choice to turn left at route 66 and go down to SANYO SUSHI instead you wont regret it. Let me tell you about my experience here about 3 months ago (sorry didn't leave the review sooner but I forgot my log in info for here). My husband is Highly allergic to Fish but not Shrimp. Every time I go to any sushi place with him we always sit at the Bar and I always explain this to the chefs as I want to make sure that they understand and are willing to accommodate his allergy. So after quick explanation to the chef and ordering beer and rolls. I ordered by husband a shrimp roll (some variation of a roll that included shrimp) that happened to be a special on the board. I asked them not put in the crab meat (its imitation and has fish bi product in it) that my husband is allergic to. Everything seemed fine as we ordered several items and enjoying some beer. Well then the waiter came out and said that he was sorry but he would have to charge us $2 more for the roll without crab meat as it's on the special and they cannot do that. I asked why as I never asked for them to replace the crab meat with anything else. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager firmly said no he had to charge us $2 more because he can only do the special's price if the roll is unchanged. I told him I wasn't asking for more shrimp but just no crab because my husband is allergic (throat swollen closed allergic), he said he understood but the $2 charge was to take out the crab not to add more shrimp and if we wanted to add more shrimp it would be $5 more. Then and there I asked for the check for the Beer and we had to now chug. I decided that we would go to SANYO SUSHI (a place I found on yelp that day as well). It was my first time going to ether place and only reason I choose EZZE is because the opened sooner. But going to SANYO SUSHI after this bad experience I realized that they not only where more then happy to accommodate my husbands allergy but their happy hour special was a lot better and had a better selection of new rolls to try. I felt bad for the waiter at EZZE Sushi as he understood my issue but the manager is beyond dumb. Guess $2 fee was worth the loss of $60 bill we would have easily paid, and now we have gone to SANYO SUSHI 5 times in the past 3 months (so $2 fee was worth potential $300). But I'm happy that true colors showed because I have found a really good sushi spot that can accommodate large groups and have beyond amazing service for less of a price then EZZE sushi. read more

Me and my husbands go to spot! We live in Azusa so it's pretty close. They are always so efficient and welcoming. Sushi is always on point. They are even willing to make special rolls by request if you ask Chef. Every single thing we've had here has been good. I haven't tried anything bad. And we've been her 6-7 times. Happy hour menu is great with a large variety. Always love the tuna on crispy rice. Spicy tuna on Crispy wonton is another winner. Salmon wasaccio is another go-to favorite! It's like a "carpaccio" with thinly sliced garlic in the salmon. The sauces enhance all the flavors of the fish. And the presentation is just divine! We went to Ezze for the first time this week. Ezze is casual, friendly, with a very nice sushi bar. Service was fast, the rolls were great. The mussels had a great sauce, and the crab hand rolls were great. The Happy Hour food menu is good and available on Sundays. Service was fast. This is a newer family run restaurant with friendly helpers. Its easy to park, clean inside, but due to the popularity the tables go fast so we sat at the sushi bar. We really liked it and will be back. Cost for appetizers, rolls, soup, and sake was about $50 for two including tip, which considering the amount and quality we thought was good. They gave us a nice piece of Kyoto green tea cheesecake in celebration of Valentine's Day week. A very nice restaurant addition to Glendora. Update: went back again. Ditto on above. Freaking phenomenal! After Hana changed hands...we were lost, "grew up" eating there...with the warm environment and family feel. Enter EZZE! Thanks Chan, Iceman and everyone else! EVERYTHING is bomb. I walk in and my tuna sushi is ready. With fresh "wasabi" No questions asked, they KNOW their customers and treat them well. Our 11 yo also inhales the tuna sushi and it keeps coming as well ;). Hubby inhales it too and the end Chan will make him a "special" roll w soy paper that is dreamy. Once you give EZZE a shot you'll be lifelong fans...and eat too much! Give some of the new dishes a shot, it's on a separate smaller menu.
