EoS in Peoria was a vibe!! Huge open space, everything laid out so you're not tripping over machines, and surprisingly clean for a gym. The Serenity Studio was clutch... quiet, relaxed, dumbbells and benches without the chaos, and I loved it!! Sauna hit the spot. Recovery room had massage chairs and compression boots (sadly no cryo lounge), but still solid!! Even on vacation, we somehow squeezed in a full 2 hr workout. I highly recommend you find a Trustworthy Reputable GYM / Organization. My experience in canceling my gym membership is shared by countless other gym members that have left EOS. My saga started in Nov. 2025. First I attempted to cancel my gym membership on line, but there was no option. I then called the gym to cancel over the phone and was told I would have to physically come in to cancel the membership. Around Nov. 28th I went to the gym to cancel my membership. The employee working at the time said their was nothing they could do and that I had to speak with a manager to cancel my membership. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was not one on staff at night and I would have to come back during the day. Until now, I was not aware that the employees of EOS are not trained in verbal communication, or paper communication, or electronic device communication, In fact they are trained only to not communicate. They are trained to have a very do nothing, non-helpful attitude. For an organization to be open "24hrs a day" and not have mangers available during "business hours" is unprofessional and possibly illegal, that is up to the state of Arizona to decide legality. I went back several days in a row each time I was told there was not a manger available. Then my bill came and surprise they charged me another monthly fee, for a service I said to cancel. It gets better. Finally I speak with a manger in early Dec. 2025 who tells me he will cancel the membership but he does not have the authority to stop any additional charges or reverse any charges. Now it is Jan. 2026, I check my bill, and guess what? There are additional charges from EOS. This time they are for a full year membership plus monthly fee, for a membership canceled in Nov. 2025. I have since notified my Credit Card Company and the BBB. I recommend anyone else in this position to do the same. You need to have your card canceled so EOS cannot charge the card. Then ask your Credit Card Company to investigate EOS and reverse the unauthorized charges to your card.. I then decide to call EOS Peoria and go to the billing department. I spoke with two different people and they both said they cannot do anything. Cancellations and fee reversal is up to the individual location where the memberships is (remember I called the 10160 W. Lake Pleasant pkwy Peoria AZ. 85012, where my gym is and the person on the phone, verified me and my account). The person's I spoke with must not have known their own address to make such a statement. At least I was able to find out that the manager had finally gotten around to canceling my membership in Jan 2026. I guess the manager needed to pad his year end figures illegally, so he could keep his job. What other reason could there be for their idiotic financial illegal loop system. As you can see they have quite the scam going. Everyone pretends to know nothing or can do nothing. Save your self the time, the headache, and your hard earned money and look for a reputable gym. EOS is not a reputable gym. If you must choose EOS as your gym, be aware of their fraudulent behavior. read more

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. Their billing is absolutely a goddamn mess. I've been charged over $130 within the span of a week from them and I've already canceled my personal training. I had to reinstate it because apparently my signatures didn't go through, so they reinstated my old one instead of keeping my new one and then I got charged for my old one and then they re-canceled that again and then I totally canceled my membership with them and then I got charged $88 from them for something that I already canceled and then I woke up this morning to another $25 charge on my card from Eos. The people are nice but Go to Amped Fitness or LA fitness instead Eos honestly really sucks. I visited this location on Sunday, Feb 8 around 11 AM while visiting from out of town. I had already confirmed with my home EōS in West Covina, CA that my membership works at Arizona locations, and I had even come in the day before with no issues. However, two front desk employees gave me a hard time, tried to make me sign up again, and would not let me speak to a manager. The interaction was rude and very uncomfortable -- I was honestly so frustrated I felt like crying. All I have been wanting to do is switch my home gym from this location to another. It has been such a headache, there is no easy way to do it in the app and when calling this location, I ended up in some IVR that just went in circles. When I was finally able to get through to someone named Nico, they were argumentative and unhelpful. All I'm trying to do is switch my home gym, it shouldn't be that hard. My wife came here to swim but needed to know the length of the pool so she can measure her distance accurately. There is no sign in the pool area so she asked the front desk. They confidently told her "I don't know." And then added, "and neither does anyone else." Turns out he was right, no one else knew either. She then asked a recruiter and was told it was "Olympic size" Yeah, that's a big fat no. So she finally asked a personal trainer who sad it was "20 feet" So to wrap up, she asked 3 different employees and was told, "I don't know - 50 yards - and 20 feet" So I guess I'll go with her tomorrow with a tape measure so we can unravel this mystery. The sauna been down over 2 weeks on the men's side and still this issue hasn't been resolved and get the same excuse that the person that was supposed to fix it didn't show up and somewhere down the week it'll be fixed .. maybe just replace the broken heater and stop trying to fix the same old one ? . This gym is very busy at the peak hours and parking is limited. The inside isn't as nice as some of the other locations that they have nearby and it's not as big as some of the others but ultimately it's a decent spot to get a good workout and the staff is also very nice and welcoming. read more

Staff has gotten much better after that previous incident I have never had any issues. Most have been very friendly and helpful. I just wish this location was bigger and had a recovery room, there's not much xtra here unfortunately since its a pretty small location. Eos is so popular for what you get for the $$ they really need more locations on this side. I am between thunderbird & camelback/101 locations by park west so those are the nearest & 83rd &camelback is crazy busy..wish they had one out here as most these locations are pretty packed now especially after 4:00pm. Signed up online yesterday. Went in today to use the gym and I was told by a young salesman that I supposedly had a balance due from 2017 and was technically not allowed to use the gym. No proof of this balance online. His computer screen literally said $0. He said I owe a total of $3k or more and just wrote it on a piece of paper. Then said if I made a biweekly payment on top of my membership for the next 4 months it would forgive my unpaid balance and they would throw in personal training during that time. So he thought I was an idiot and tried selling me a personal train package while calling it "debt forgiveness ". I'm completely turned off by this and I hope this young man eventually finds out you can't succeed in sales like this. Cancelled immediately. Went to my local community center gym. read more

I have had a horrible experience with this gym and it saddens me because it's my neighborhood gym. As a mom of 3 wanting to prioritize getting myself back into the gym I had a balance with this gym I walked in and asked how to go about paying and was told they had a forgiveness program and that I'd be charged 50 dollars every two weeks until I payed the balance. And for signing up I'd get free personal training sessions. I know it should have been a red flag but eager to do something good for myself and my health I said okay. I was secretly signed up for personal training sessions that I know cannot get out of that I NEVER agreed to paying for these sessions are hundreds of dollars and well over the Tiny balance that i owed the gym. Money is tight and to do this to a person is wrong and horrible business practices and I feel like this would have never been done to a man. Please be careful when you sit down at this gym to get signed up fully read what you are signing there's no such thing as free trainings do not get lied to and become a victim of this scam like I did. I have now read several reviews where this manager pretends that he sees a balance on his screen he did this to me and told me I had a $600 balance which was a lie and the he signs you up for personal training if this is how he meets his sales this is horrible I will be contacting the bbb and contacting a lawyer. Price is tough to beat for and overall a great value. Plenty of gear for weightlifting Classes. Pool, Child Care, lockers, towel service Movie theater, outdoor yard, and Sauna. I'd like to see a little tighter equipment maintenance program, but I'm an engineer and details are the way I see everything. I would recommend this facility to everyone looking at gyms. read more

They have zero grace on late fees. Even if it's their fault and they try to pull to early or to late they charge 25$ late fee. They also make you jump thru hoops to cancel. The gym itself is acceptable and as expected for the price that you pay per month. It is typical to most EOS properties in AZ. I did have a second gym membership at VASA (at the same time as EOS) which I did use more frequently compared to my EOS peoria gym due to personal preference. While the managers and employees are helpful during conversations over the phone and in person, unfortunately the lack of organization and unprofessionalism has led to a series of repeated problems during my time as a member at EOS Peoria. My main problem being the INABILITY TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP which I have been trying to do since June 27, 2023. My main complaints about my experience at EOS Peoria: 1. Failure to cancel my membership. Two separate occasions I went in person and canceled my membership only to continue to be charged and told there was no record of the cancellations. I have also mailed letters to the cancellation address provided in the membership contract seeking cancellation. I would have continued going in person but I since moved out of Arizona. 2. Continuous charges have been made after every conversation that my membership would be cancelled. Every time I am told that my membership will be cancelled I continue to be charged with no form of documentation within the gym. 3. Failure to refund my account. I have been told by two separate employees that I would be receiving a refund for the additional and outstanding balances charged to my account. I was told it would happen within a few days only for this to not happen and there to be no record of these conversations within the company. 4. The managers inability to respond to emails or phone calls. This includes Matthew Gundogan, Julie Almeida, and Gennevieve Kerr. I was made aware of a change in management but the lack of response has been absurd. Based on my experience, I would not recommend joining EOS Peoria, instead reconsider another location or gym. read more

Let me start with the staff is amazing. All of them, from the manager down, they take time to say hi and ask how your doing. This is the only positive thing I'll say about this gym. Multiple equipment down constantly, TVs always down, towel dispensers and water fountains down. Shirts or bottles left in the same spot for a week, clearly not cleaned. Equipment has fell off the cable and hit me in the head. Do better EOS, I am a 7 year vet who takes his fitness serious and might change to mountainside if I get hurt again. read more

EOS Fitness is a great place to work out. My only concern is that I got a bill for $304 after I cancelled my training sessions after my 6 months. My training at the Thunderbird & 83rd location kindly let me know when I completed all my sessions. The kicker about this all is that I did my due diligence and emailed my request to EOS (memberservices@eosfitness.com) on March 19th and ABC Fitness Solutions responded. WHY?? ABC Fitness says they can't cancel training packages. Why are they responding/ have access to the facilities' email??!! I spoke with the manager on 3/20/2023 at the Thunderbird & 83rd location and was told I would only be charged twice and after that no more. Why the hell am I being charged $76 x4 after that?! I'm not even using the service. I don't like dishonest, misleading business practices at all. It's straight up fraudulent to financially benefit off service not being provided to the consumer. I strongly feel like dissolving the whole business relationship at this point. I will be going to EOS location first thing in the morning and I'm not playing. My husband and I have been going to EOS Fitness for about 5 months and they are amazing, especially the Thunderbird location. The staff is great, especially the general manager Warren Johnson. He is very helpful offering tips and just very polite in general. Everytime my husband goes he always has all his stress and negativity eliminated by the positive environment! My partner and I just signed up three days ago so we haven't encountered nothing but good energy thus far. As others have stated, when signing up you will be asked about personal training in which you can kindly decline. Neither of us felt pressured to sign up, but if you're a timid, easily persuaded individual, I can see you signing up for additional services that you may not have wanted.
