My wife and I recently to Fum in Atlanta, Georgia, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. The staff there were all very friendly and very attentive to our needs; I basically never had an empty water glass the whole time I was there, and I drink a lot of water. Rather than just our server doing everything, I think 5 or 6 different people ended up helping us or brought us food and drinks through the whole meal, but we did still have our primary server who did the majority of our service. The vibe of the restaurant wonderful; there is so much natural lighting that helps illuminate the space, and they have the view of the kitchen and wood burning oven for all the customers to watch. The food itself was fantastic! Their oyster's have frozen watermelon on them, and they are served in just two, so you can have a taste without fully committing to more if desired. The scallop crudo was very floral and was an excellent combination of seafood and citrus. For the main we ordered the Agnolotti pasta, it was a stuffed ravioli type of pasta with crab, and the Bistecca, the dry aged ribeye. We ordered these two an shared and found it to be plenty to share, though we are light eaters. They complemented each other very well. For desert we ordered the Affogato, which my wife absolutely loved (I enjoyed the vanilla and coffee part, but the rum chocolate portion was a bit bitter for my taste). We ordered 4 drinks as well, and in the end, the total came out to shy of $340 after tip. We splurged a little. We loved our visit to Fum, and if you're in Atlanta and need a nice date night, I would highly recommend this restaurant. read more

We went to Füm for our wedding anniversary, and I'm sorry that we did. The table to the left of us had an issue with their meal, as did the table to the right of us. I wish I could have heard their complaints, because we had our own issues with the food (and also the ambiance, because it was like we were eating at a Coachella tent and was way more diffiicult for my wife and me to have a conversation). While the ambiance was poor, the food was a mixed bag. We got the Ceasare salade and bread (alone) for antipaste. The bread tasted as if it was baked the day before, and there was no butter or olive oil served with it. We chose not to order one of the over-priced spreads, but it should have at least come with some type of butter even if not fancy. We got two orders of raw oysters, and I wish we had gotten six orders (there are only 2 oysters per order) because they were absolutely perfect. Next time (if we ever comes again), we will come for happy hour because they have $1.50 oysters, truly amazing (my family are shrimpers from the Gulf so I know my seafood). Next, the pappardelle came out and was room temperature at best. It was very chewy, and the ragu had little-to-no flavor and did not resemble any ragu that I have ever had. If I'm eating at an Italian restaurant, please at least let me taste the bursting acidity of Summer tomatoes. My wife grows a variety of tomatoes in her garden, and they have the juice that pops when you bite into them, unlike the ragu we experienced at Füm. We also ordered the gnocchi, but there was a mix-up with our waitress only because it's so freaking loud in there. She thought we said we wanted ravioli, but we ordered gnocchi, and the ravioli ended up getting either wasted or served to someone else. After I thought about it, I feel like our pappradelle may have been one that had been returned by someone else because a waiter/waitress could not hear what a customer ordered (since ours was room temp). That being said, the gnocchi was THE BEST I have ever had, and I would have bathed in the sauce if I could have. I highly recommend going to Füm only for the gnocchi, but not to have a conversation. For dessert, we got the blueberry sorbet, and it was one of the most complex-tasting desserts I have ever experienced, with multiple layers of flavor. I would order that again any day that ends in "Y". To sum it up, our opinions are... YES: Oysters, Gnocchi, Blueberry Sorbet, staff (everyone seems to struggle with noise though, but they are so nice) NO: Ambiance (TOO LOUD), Bread (too dry), Ceasar Salad (zero flavor), Pappradelle (room temp, ragu honestly had zero flavor). I expected to taste the food, it really lacked in flavor, salt? Something? All I can say is that I probably won't be back, and it was mediocre at best. If you know good food, this just didn't hit the mark for the price. The expensive bread with bone marrow butter don't get it, bread sucked, the butter had zero flavor a little salt may have helped. Steak was cold, flavor ok. I've had better for the price. Parpadelle pasta was SO salty. I don't know if the lack of flavor and salt on all the other dishes just goes to the pasta, because that was one super salty pasta. The snapper crudo, was fresh, but lacked in flavor. I prolly won't be coming back as I stated for the price I can't justify the food. The ambiance was ok. Service was also just ok. Not worth it for me. Birthday Happy Hour with my sister. She brought me to FUM for their $5 cocktails and $1.50 oysters. Happy Hour is from 5:30 -7:30 and you definitely need to be here way before 5:30. FUM is connected to an apartments. So that alone I'm sure the residence frequent the restaurant quite often. Also, because the space isn't big and the Happy Hour area is at the bar only. Or you can sit outside in the gorgeous courtyard. We got there a little after 5:30 and it was packed. So we had to sit outside. FUM has some amazing service. They where very attentive to all the guest. For what I could see. We didn't get a chance to experience any food, but y'all those $5 cocktails was bussing. I started with an Old Fashion and my sister had a Martini. My Old Fashion was made perfectly. I always ask for the bartender to make it a little sweeter than normal. And she did. My sister's Martini was perfect as well and the host brought it to her and poured it in her glass from stainless steel kettle. BEAUTIFUL!. Next we had Margaritas and once again made with perfection. I just wish we had gotten the chance to experience the food. But I will be back and I highly recommend. read more

Füm absolutely delivered. We started with the focaccia and bone marrow butter, and I would order it again in a heartbeat. The bread was warm, soft, and paired perfectly with the rich, flavorful butter. The Caesar salad was a 100/10. Easily one of the best Caesar salads I've had. I also had the trout, which was cooked perfectly with crispy skin and incredible flavor. The pappardelle pasta was rich, fresh, and absolutely worth ordering. The beef tartare was delicious too. The cocktails were excellent, and every dish we tried was a hit. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience feel elevated. My only minor critique is that the music was a little louder than I prefer, which made conversation a bit difficult at times. Other than that, everything was fantastic. I wanted to love this restaurant, but unfortunately the experience did not justify the price. We had reservations and arrived on a rainy evening. After leaving our car with valet, I asked whether there was a text option to request our vehicle when we were ready to leave. I was told that system wasn't set up yet. While not a huge issue, I later learned the restaurant opened in February, and it's now June, so that seemed surprising. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful and set the tone for what we hoped would be a great evening. Our server, Damani, was friendly when he first greeted us. He recommended a smoky gimlet that he created and described as amazing. Unfortunately, when the drinks arrived, they tasted overwhelmingly like lime juice and mezcal. The bigger issue was that I never had an opportunity to mention it because after taking our order, he virtually disappeared. We ordered two smoky gimlets, bread, a Caesar salad, a ribeye, and the oxtail pasta. We also wanted to speak with the sommelier for wine recommendations, but our server never returned to the table. At that point, the sommelier, Josh, essentially became our server. After waiting roughly 25 minutes, we still hadn't received our bread and had not seen Damani. My water sat empty, and there was no opportunity to discuss the drinks or ask questions. Josh kindly checked on our order and eventually brought out the bread. The bread and salad finally arrived together, but we still had not seen our server. By this point, we were confused about what was happening. This was a $300+ dinner, and we had only interacted with our server a couple of times over the course of more than 30 minutes. After another 20-30 minutes, our entrees finally arrived. We honestly thought the order may have been forgotten. Throughout the meal, Josh, another young woman on staff, and Michael (who I believe was a manager) stepped in to help, but no one clearly explained what had gone wrong. As for the food, the ribeye was phenomenal and easily the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, the oxtail pasta was underwhelming and did not meet expectations. To the restaurant's credit, they attempted to make things right by providing a bottle of wine, which I appreciated. However, no one really addressed the service breakdown beyond a quick apology after we raised our concerns. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. We drove 45 minutes for dinner and spent over $300 expecting a level of service that matched the restaurant's pricing and atmosphere. The vibe is beautiful, and I would love to return one day to experience the DJ and give it another chance, but there are clearly operational issues that need to be resolved. The vibes here are spectacular!! From the moment you step in, staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Came here for a friend's bachelorette party and the staff was so welcoming and joyful towards our celebration. We started off with the bread with the bone marrow butter. It was so rich and creamy and they gave a good amount because they know people like it. The sweet potato gnocchi was so unique and delicious and looked very visually appealing. The New York strip was probably the best piece of meat I have had all year. I loved all the dishes that some of these meals came in. They were antique pieces that are timeless. This restaurant can be easy to miss if you don't already know it's there. Upon entering, the space is a fairly open layout with a DJ and a welcoming vibe. Sat at the bar and ordered a couple dishes and drinks. I have to say that flavor-wise, everything was delicious, from the Caesar Salad, to the pasta dishes, to the Violeta and PBNJ cocktails. There were a couple of missteps with the order, but the manager provided excellent service to course correct things. This is exactly what high-end hospitality should look like. Though we initially faced a small hurdle at the host stand regarding reservation availability (which was quickly resolved), the rest of our evening was flawless and my partner and I had an absolutely stellar experience celebrating our anniversary here. Our server, Leilani, provided world-class service. To celebrate our special occasion, the restaurant kindly gifted us an appetizer and mocktails, which was an incredibly thoughtful touch. Based on Leilani's recommendations, we ordered the strozzapreti, trout, and the pork chop. The pasta was excellent, and the trout paired with potatoes was absolutely scrumptious. While the pork chop didn't stand out quite as much as the other dishes, the overall culinary experience was highly enjoyable. What truly elevated the evening was the flawless attention to detail. Courses were served in structured rounds (pasta, then trout, then the pork chop), and the staff seamlessly exchanged our plates and utensils after every single course. We even learned later that the manager had hand-delivered one of our entrees. Leilani was highly attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty without ever being intrusive. While we appreciated the multi-course pacing, the cadence between rounds could have been just a bit brisker. If I had any minor critiques, they would be regarding the ambiance. The house-style music was slightly too loud for a fine dining setting, making conversation a bit difficult. Additionally, the dining room and restrooms are exceptionally dim; the small USB table lamps do not quite provide enough illumination. On a positive note, the inclusion of complimentary feminine hygiene products in the restroom was a very thoughtful and appreciated amenity. Overall, this was some of the finest service we have experienced in a long time. The ambiance was easy and relaxed, aided by a lively yet not overwhelming vinyl DJ. We were seated quickly & our attendant Tyler swooped in perfectly - great conversation, explained the menu without hovering, made wonderful recommendations - he was great. Truly. Great experience and food! No resy, 6pm @ the bar on a Saturday in May 2026. No issue being seated at the full service bar. Was offered the option of a dining table but passed. Makayla and Sudo provided great service at the bar. Service was amazing between the two of them. And Dinner was delicious. Favorite dish of the night was... all of it. Each dish delicious and unique in its own way. A variety of dishes from each course option gave great introspect into the menu. Would recommend each dish I tried. Only dish I didn't try that caught my eye was the oxtail pasta but per MaKayla the lobster was a good balance in my other selections and her recommendation didn't disappoint. Dishes: bone morrow butter, prawns, lobster pasta, park chop Ambiance was nice. Fairly quiet for 6pm on a Saturday but the DJ Booth lets me know it gets poppin' hopefully next time I'll experience a different vibe. Also tried a cocktail and wine. Both were delicious. The vibe of this restaurant is nice and moody, however the food was a a miss. I understand it is contemporary Italian, but in an effort to try and be different, the menu has a lot of misses. The flavors of the trout dish and octopus dish did not pair well, but you can tell it was nicely cooked. I can see the vision and what the kitchen is going for. As for service, we were asked if we wanted more bread, just to be charged for the dish again. The dessert menu was also lacking. The pasta, however saved the night but we left still hungry. Some of the main meat dishes don't come with sides but there are no sides on the menu. They want it to be family style, but portions don't reflect that. it's been a long time since i've been somewhere where i disliked everything!!! valet parking for $8. bread is $8 and comes with nothing which is wild, but got the bone marrow butter. so butter and a dip is running you $20 and the bread here is NOT a focaccia and actually the worst bread service i have ever had. i love bread and this was left half uneaten. dry, dense, and tough and no butter can fix that ordered the oysters which were meh so maybe the best thing. the afm was fine. didn't love but didn't hate. a touch too salty. wouldn't need to get again sixty six spritz and margarita romagna drinks were fine and wouldn't get again. ordered the ravioli and the strozzapreti. mentioned when we sat down there was a shellfish allergy at the table and sharing entrees and they brought us the cavatelli with lobster which was wild. so that was delayed to actually receive our right dish. ravioli sauce was creamy but the entire dish was overly salty. like so salty i didn't want more than 3 pieces. running a price of $4.5 per ravioli you would expect more filling or it to be fine. strozzapreti was bad all around. pasta texture was weird. sauce weird. priced at $44 this was absolutely not worth. like be so forreal serving that. now onto service, service was nice but left me rolling my eyes. a waiter would come and ask if they could take our plates while we were actively eating. we said no and he was confused and asked if we were done like no?? before we received our entrees, our server asked to pick up our leftover bread and butter which is odd but for the $20 we paid like let the bread sit. also hot towels at the end of the meal made no sense as our meals were entirely with utensils besides bread but alas. would I come back? absolutely not for the price point and flavor. much better italian places in atlanta at this price point or even better cheaper options as well read more

When I asked the hostess (who was very nice), she said they were putting "final touches" on the table, which didn't really make sense since we had a reservation. They offered appetizers on the house, but I just wanted the table. Once seated, there was a small mix-up with our order. I asked for tuna tartare but meant tuna carpaccio, and they brought beef tartare instead. They handled it really well and let us keep it on the house, and it was actually very good. The staff overall was amazing. The manager came over multiple times, apologized, and checked on us, which I appreciated. Food-wise, it was a mix. The gnocchi were really good, the tuna dishes were amazing, and the beef tartare was great. One of the pastas was also very good, but the ravioli were too salty. Portions are extremely small. Prices aren't crazy, but for the portion sizes, it doesn't fully match. We also ordered bread with a couple of spreads as appetizers, one was a stracciatella with apple and the other was more like a red pesto. They were good, but nothing special. The cocktails were very average, both in taste and presentation, I expected more there. Then I ordered the dry-aged pork chop. I personally only eat pork fully cooked, and when it came out, parts were pink. I sent it back, they were very nice and brought it again (I think a new one), but it was still the same. At that point I decided not to order anything else. At the end, they didn't charge us for the spreads we ordered for the bread and obviously didn't charge for the pork chop, which was very kind of them. It doesn't change what happened, but I do appreciate that gesture. Overall, I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but it wasn't the best either. This was just my personal experience, not saying it's always like this. The place is beautiful and the service is great, but based on this visit, I'm not 100% sure if I'd go back. read more

Tonight was one of those dining experiences you wish you could relive again and again. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, polished, and incredibly attentive. Every dish that came to the table was a surprise in the best possible way. You could tell immediately that the pasta was freshly made -- perfectly textured and full of flavor. One of the most creative elements throughout the meal was how they incorporated ice into several dishes. Each bite would start one way and then suddenly burst with flavor as the ice melted. It was playful, unexpected, and absolutely delicious. And the oysters... I honestly don't know how else to describe them except that they tasted like the ocean in the best possible way -- fresh, clean, and incredibly vibrant. This place has that Miami-meets-New York energy with an Italian flair -- stylish, lively, and clearly run by a chef who takes enormous pride in every detail. I recently tried Füm in Midtown and honestly, they had me from the moment I pulled up. Valet was only $8 and super attentive (they even drove me to the door because I had heels on, yes, I appreciated that lol). From there, the hospitality stayed consistent. The hostesses were welcoming, complimented my outfit, and got me seated with sparkling water while I waited for my guests. We started with the sourdough bread and bone marrow butter, definitely a standout. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor. I ordered a French 75 (not on the menu, but they made it perfectly), tuna carpaccio, and a Caesar salad. The tuna was fresh, light, and beautifully presented, honestly one of my favorite dishes of the night. I also tried beef tartare for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. If you're curious, this is a great place to try it, just make sure it's always somewhere reputable like this. I didn't make it to dessert, but my friends loved theirs. Shoutout to our server Chaney, her knowledge of the menu and overall service really elevated the experience. The vibe is dim, chic, and perfect for date night or celebrating something special. You truly felt guided through the menu. Now let's talk about the FOOD. * Bone marrow butter with whole wheat sourdough -- absolutely incredible. The bread came out warm, and the marrow butter melted perfectly. We could not stop eating it. * Jumbo prawns in Indu sauce -- 10/10. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. * Oxtail pasta -- rich, bold, and perfectly cooked. Super comforting and packed with flavor. * Trout -- 1000/10. My personal favorite. It was so flavorful that nothing else was needed on the plate. Every single dish was a hit. It honestly didn't make sense how consistent the flavors were. We're currently not drinking, so we didn't try the cocktails -- but watching them being made at the bar? They looked spectacular. The vibe gives upscale Miami energy right in Midtown Atlanta. We made a reservation for 8:30 PM and weren't even attempted to be seated until nearly 10 PM. At that point, it already felt like our time simply didn't matter--but we decided to stay, hoping the experience would turn around. It didn't. The issues continued throughout the night:     *    Our prawns came out undercooked--more than once     *    We were served the wrong dish entirely     *    The pasta that replaced it was literally undercooked     *    And to top it off, there was hair in my cocktail At every stage, it felt like basic quality control and attention to detail were missing. While the staff was polite, the resolution didn't match the level of the problems. Given how consistently things went wrong, it was surprising that the restaurant chose not to comp the entire bill. Fum is less than a month old and they entire room ran like a well oiled machine! From the staff to the food to the look and feel of this place everything felt right and effortless!! We ate everything they had (ravioli and lamb were exceptional) and drank every cocktail (Margarita Romanesco was chefs kiss) All 5 of us agreed that it was hands down one of our best ATL restaurant experience!! The best part of the night was the cute Polaroid photo that our awesome server took, just made a regular Saturday night feel extra special! Fun at F.U.M.--or was it F.U.M. was fun? Either way, it was a truly delightful experience and a breath of fresh air for the ATL dining scene. Our group of six was energized by the fantastic service and high-energy music (though it did make table talk a bit of a workout!). We ended up sharing nearly the entire menu, and every single bite was fantastic.A week later, I'm still thinking about the pasta--specifically the beef pappardelle, gnocchi, and lobster cavatelli--along with the dry-aged strip and tuna carpaccio. The absolute stars for me, though, were the sourdough focaccia with pesto trapanese and the Affogato (the rum chocolate and coffee granita is a game-changer). What a challenging review. The food was pretty good! Service and drinks very good. Vibe is just awkward. DJ playing music too loud. "Tik Tokkers" with lights on stands, AT their tables. This seemed much more like a gimmick, with people more interested in taking pictures than a serious restaurant....in a high-level restaurant area of west midtown. Bizarre experience and can't say we will be back. Food and drink does not seem to be the goal here for most patrons....with Michelin-caliber places just around the corner. Don't listen to the 1 star reviews. Place is the best restaurant in Atlanta and I've been to Michelin from LA to Denver to Chicago. Service was beyond crazy good. Food was utterly a sensory an experience for your taste buds. Had bone marrow butter, tuna, lamb, gnocci and ice cream and drinks and they were done exceptionally well. Price was fantastic compared to an actual Michelin starred tasting menu. You honestly can't beat the price. Already planning my next visit! read more

Customer service was outstanding, the host was very friendly and our server was fantastic. To start, the bread with bone marrow butter, was phenomenal. The salad was delicious, the aged parmigiano added a mild tangy kick. The pappardelle and New York strip were good, didn't exceed my expectations for a few reasons. When we got the food, the steak was cold and almost raw. I requested medium-well before ordering and they didn't do it right the first time however our server helped make sure it was done right the second time. Our server Shannon was great, attentive and made sure we were taken care of. One drawback was the ambiance before 9 p.m. It was surprisingly loud, making it difficult to hear people sitting next to or across from you. Later in the evening, the noise level decreased, and conversation became much easier. Towards the end of the night it was more quiet and easier to converse. A few things to note: the restaurant itself is located near Stella apartments. They do offer valet parking but I opted out of that. Instead, I parked in a parking garage on 11th street about a 3-5min walk and paid $10 for over 2hrs of parking. The water cups are unusually small; despite this, everyone made sure our water cups were full. I'd give this 5 stars, but the difficulty to converse around those near to me and incorrect preparation of my steak the first time is why I give this place 4 stars. I will say that after the long wait, they comped our bread which was unexpected but appreciated. Good recovery by the staff, just a few hiccups. read more

The worst experience I've had at a restaurant for them to be so new! Drinks were terrible, we had a reservation and ended up sitting at the bar after waiting for over an hour, just to have the host come tell us 2 hours in that out table was ready and then try to check us saying we did our reservation wrong... we ordered main dishes and when they came out, I didn't get what I ordered and after 3 x of me saying I didn't order that dish, the waitress finally says, oh the dish you ordered has sold out so they sent this... like it was nothing li me what I ordered in the first place! With no question of what I wanted instead! Then the dish they dropped off, my friend cut into it and the noodles were doughy and smeared in the plate! uncooked!!!! they took that dish back... then my friend's prawns were uncooked!!!! It was awful! At this point I kept saying I was good and didn't want anything else... they forced a steak on me and it was just okay... definitely not worth it!!!!! I understand they are new, but the amount of mistakes in one sitting was horrible!!! They need time to get it right!!! Beautiful aesthetic, but horrible horrible experience!!! i have worked in the restaurant industry and it was also handled poorly! I do not recommend!!!! read more

While the service is very good and we appreciated the DJ vibes, the food is extremely mid. For the starters, bread and butter service is $20 ($8 for bread and $12 for marrow butter) which is insane as is...but was also not good. The tuna tartare was only 5 bites and was strange and did not taste good, more weird, even though tuna was fresh. The lamb entree was extremely fatty and came with nothing on the side. The two pastas that we got were also not good. The chicken was the only good thing we had due to the sauce only. The cocktail menu was also strange and did not have any good combinations. The dessert affogato was tasteless and they didn't have actual espresso. Overall a very very disappointing meal. Worst I've had out in a long time. Would not return. It also took about 15 minutes to get a glass of wine each time. read more

I went to Fum for my 40th birthday and loved it. There were 7 of us. One was vegan and we called ahead to see if they had accommodations which they did! In total we ordered the bone marrow butter, straciatella, Caesar salad, oyster mushrooms (very good), paparadelle, cavatelli, free range chicken, trout, 15 day age steak, pistachio/hazelnut gelato. My favorite was the steak and I think my least favorite was the paparadelle. I did not try to chicken or trout as I was so full. The bone marrow butter was great! Straciatella refreshing. A Caesar salad is a simple dish. But they nailed it and there were a lot of flavors going on. I usually wouldn't order the oyster mushrooms but they do it "family style" but they were really great along with their sauce. The cavatelli had peas and mint and lobster and was refreshing. I didn't try the trout but there wasn't any left! I think next time we would probably skip the chicken. The pistachio gelato was great. There was a hazelnut spread at the bottom. It just kept getting better. The restaurant was very clean. My reservation was at 9, I ordered a drink at 8:40, then we were seated prior maybe 8:45....8:50. While their wine list is impeccable, I really liked their cocktails. I ordered the Violeta and PBNJ and there's a mango margarita one that my friend ordered but I did try and it was great! read more

We have been three times since they opened two months ago. This has become easily one of our favourite places to go to dinner on date night. The staff is impeccable and Service on point. It really goes to show that the experience is led by the team in place and we always feel they go above and beyond. And of course the food my god we love coming here. We talk about the food at dinner after dinner the next day after dinner and then talk about when we want to go back.
