N was amazing. Oravid and Marty recovery R.N were so great. Overall an amazing experience. I was so nervous at first and I was so blessed to have such an amazing team caring for me. The medical staff and nurses were professional and seemed knowledgeable, and the facility itself was generally clean and organized. My procedure was completed without complications, which I appreciate. However, there were a few issues that kept this from being a higher‑rated visit. The wait time was longer than expected, even with a scheduled appointment, and communication before the procedure could have been clearer. I also felt a bit rushed during check‑in and discharge, which made it harder to ask questions or fully understand post‑op instructions. Overall, the center gets the job done and has capable staff, but better scheduling, communication, and patient flow would really improve the experience. I wouldn't rule it out in the future, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Downey, family dental has been a great experience. After many years of being frightened and scared…read moreof visiting the dentist, I had excruciating pain that was occurring due to a broken tooth. I stopped by to get x-rays and have my teeth exam and I was getting ready to hear a lot of bad news. Knowing that I had not visited the dentist in about 8 to 10 years I knew that there would be work that would be needed to be completed.. The dentist was very helpful with letting me know the severity of it, but at the same time showed optimism and made me feel comfortable. Not only are we looking into the repairment of my tooth but also he explained to me the things that would be needed to be done in order to restore my teeth. I had plaque built up and my gums were very swollen with numbers high as fives and six which is not great and he explained to me that it would take a few appointments of deep cleaning and laser treatment in order to restore them. The appointments that I've had with them have been painless, and they have always made me feel comfortable while visiting them. This really helped me overcome my fear of visiting in the dentist and I actually do look forward to seeing them for my next appointment. Thank you Downey family dental, Dr. Nguy and the rest of the team for not only making it a seamless and positive experience, but truly helping me get my teeth restored!

The front office staff were incredibly professional and helpful . they took the time to clearly explain our dental benefits and made the entire process stress-free. The dental assistants were so kind and caring while taking our X-rays. They were gentle, friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable. Both of The Doctors ( Dr.Nguy & Dr.No) were absolutely wonderful! not only knowledgeable and professional, but also hilarious! There was a fun little rivalry between one being a proud alum of UCLA and the other from USC which made the visit even more enjoyable and hilarious . You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and about the work they do. Overall, such a positive experience. The out patient surgery clinic is hands down one of the finest in Southern California. The staff is…read moreprofessional. The Operating Room is state of the art. The procedure starts with a meeting with one of the Registered Nurses. They take vitals, and go over each step if the procedure, and explain the consent forms, answering questions along the way. They get you changed into the typical hospital gown. They get your IV installed. The doctor performing the procedure comes in, reviews with you exactly what will be performed. The Anesthesiologist meets with you, goes over his role & explains what medications he will employ. You are moved into the OR. The doctor again goes over the procedure. You are hooked up to the heart monitor., etc. The Anesthesiologist administers the meds & next think you know your in the recovery room with your RN. Your monitored until cleared for release. Again what was performed & any aftercare instructions are reviewed. Dr Peter Ly is the Pain Management Specialist & he is down to earth, knowledgeable and the upmost professional. I have friends & family that swear by Dr Ly & this facility. I do not have any information about the regular clinic.

They have treated me well and give stellar support and understanding. The girls in the front office have always been respectful and nice. I've been reading the reviews and have no idea what these people are talking about when giving negative reviews. I understand that people get cranky when they're in pain but this office is amazing. I just got the notification that my insurance group Optim is no longer in their group. To say I'm devastated is an understatement and I'm going to do whatever I can to be able to go back to Dr Valdez office. When you find somebody who really knows your spine you try to stay with them. To everybody else who gave negative reviews, be kind. It's really hard when you're in pain, I know for a fact. But it's not the office's fault that we are hurting.
