I came across a Facebook ad for an F45 "Free 6-Week Comeback Challenge." Since I'm on a health journey, I thought, "Okay, something different. Let me check it out." The second I filled out the form, I got a call. Lots of questions, which was fine, but my first red flag was when I asked about pricing and how the "free" challenge worked. Before I could finish my question, the subject changed. I was told pricing varies by person, but nobody would explain the free part. I scheduled an appointment anyway because I wanted to see what the hype was about. Before the appointment, I got several texts, including one asking what type of protein shake I wanted. Remember that part for later. When I arrived, it was so dark I wasn't sure anyone was there. I filled out paperwork that mostly repeated the questions I had already answered over the phone. Then I saw a question that said: "If you are not the primary financial decision-maker, please reschedule with your spouse present." Red flag number two. Immediately I thought, "This is about to be a sales pitch." I never got a tour. Nobody explained the classes or how the workouts worked. Instead, I was taken to the back and questioned about my health journey. I explained that I've successfully lost weight before, work with a dietitian, and that my biggest struggle lately has simply been motivation due to some personal things that started around December. The response? Basically, everything I was doing "wasn't working." Wait a damn minute. I've only been struggling for a few months. I wasn't there because I don't understand nutrition or exercise. I wanted to see if group fitness would help with motivation and accountability. Then my dietitian started getting discredited despite him knowing almost nothing about her recommendations or my situation. Every explanation somehow got met with, "Well, it's not working." The facility itself appeared clean at least I think it did. The lights were never fully turned on, so I was basically evaluating the gym in mood lighting . Thankfully my iPhone can make a dark room look like it has light. Then we got to pricing. The "free" six-week challenge was suddenly around $699 and included coaching, classes, meal plans, body scans, and other services. My immediate thought was: Where exactly was the free part? The conversation The second option required an upfront payment, a 12-month commitment, and weekly payments. I explained that I don't make financial decisions on the spot. I like to go home, think about it, compare options, and then decide. That wasn't received very well. The conversation became more about getting me to commit than helping me determine whether the program was a good fit. At one point I was basically told I could either commit or keep doing what I was doing which apparently "wasn't working." Then came the final straw. I was told women spend money on hair, nails, and shopping and could redirect those funds toward fitness. Sir... You don't know me. I budget carefully, and even if I did spend money that way, that's none of your business. Before leaving, I asked if I could observe a class. The answer was no because apparently if people leave, they don't come back. And looking at a class is not going to determine anything. No trial was offered now I see several trial offers online for lower than what I was offered which was nothing Funny thing is, I'm exactly the type of person who leaves, sleeps on a decision, researches it, and then comes back if it makes sense. In the end, I chose not to join. My issue isn't that they charge for services. My issue is advertising a "Free 6-Week Comeback Challenge" and then presenting expensive packages without clearly explaining costs upfront. Ironically, the experience motivated me just not in the way they intended. It reminded me that I've reached my goals before and I can do it again. Oh, and remember that protein shake he texting me about? Yeah... nobody ever offered it when I got there. Guess we both left disappointed False advertising at its finest. read more

I have now been apart of 3 different F45 locations. This one is for sure the worst experience for many reasons. The trainers don't try to get to know you or even learn your name. Most of the time they are on their phone during class. The cancellation process is ridiculous. They require a 60 day written cancellation notice. Otherwise, they lock you into another term. For me it was an additional 6 months. The only way to cancel is to provide 50% payment for the remaining term. For me that was $820. They don't send reminders of your auto renewal date. The owner JJ isn't willing to work with you on a personal level regardless of your situation. I highly recommend driving to another F45 location. This location is not a good example of what F45 can be. read more

I'm finishing my fourth week at F45, and I'm officially hooked. The facility is consistently clean and well‑organized, and the atmosphere is welcoming to every fitness level. There's a genuine emphasis on balanced wellness--training, nutrition, and accountability all carry equal weight. Coach Karen has an incredible sense of when to push us harder and when to help us refine our form, making every session both challenging and rewarding. read more

I have been going to this location since it opened! The staff have always been so helpful and welcoming to the members! Working out in a group setting is motivating to me and encourages me to push harder. I also like the convenience of having the workout and equipment set up; all I had to do was show up! All of the coaches are awesome! They are motivating and always ready to help with modifications, injuries and different stretching exercises. The coaches and team provide a welcoming and friendly environment. They regularly share helpful health, meal and fitness tips and keep members engaged and motivated. Staff is always encouraging and motivating members to push towards our goals. The members are also very supportive and welcoming to new ppl coming to try out F45! I've done two challenges and I am pleased with the support I got from staff regarding education and nutrition. I have lost about 10 pounds and 3% body fat in the current challenge! read more

is on the leading edge of innovation. Their workouts are SO well designed. I've never left a workout yet saying, "I wish I did more". The coaches have a great eye in progressing or regressing their students. Music is a little spotty (Bluetooth issues) not a huge deal but when you're in the middle of a working set trying to push yourself, clear music helps :) easy fix! Cross trail community is second to none! Everyone is so lively and wanting/willing to talk to one another. Other places I have been to, this is not the case. I finally found my home! It's the best part of my day working out at f45 Cross trails. I have made some wonderful connections and the trainers go above and beyond. And their knowledge is amazing and their willingness to help never ceases to amaze me!! I work out 5 days a week I can see the difference this last year has made. After paying $800 for a mere 6 weeks of workouts, my experience of F45 has been tainted particularly over my intereactions with the owner of this branch. While the actual workouts, the other members, and coaches are great to work with, the owner and his unwillingness to reason has left a bad taste in my mouth. I joined a Six-Week Challenge, and during the orientation I was asked about my goal weight. As outlined in their contract, I was told if I didn't reach that goal, I would get another 6 weeks free of charge to help reach it. Three weeks later however, during a check-in, I was informed if I had lost even one pound, I wouldn't be eligible for the additional six weeks. This was a flat-out contradiction to what I had been told, and they were clearly going back on their word. Obviously, weight fluctuates when you start working out, especially tougher workouts like F45, five time a week. The owner was rigid on their stance, despite my repeated efforts to discuss the contract with them, and continued to dishonor the "results guarantee" highlighted in the contract. Another issue was the confusion and lack of clarity as to what is included in the Challenge Package, which seemed to change person to person, depending on the day. There was a clear disparity between the treatment of members. I won't be continuing F45 going forward as I feel cheated of my money and was entirely mistreated. read more

I love how they have different levels of difficulty for the classes, which helps me not stay comfortable in the easy but push myself to go harder!
