    Fabbri Statuary

If you loved Jurassic Park and are up to date on your tetanus shot, you're gonna loooove Fabbri Statuary. Full disclosure: It's A LOT of oxidized metal in one place so not exactly a place you should let your kids roam free, but you should take them, keep a watchful eye, bring a camera, and maybe discover something you don't need but absolutely have to have. If you've got room a life-size Wooly Mammoth, T-Rex, or Giraffe in your life, this is the place you're gonna want to go. They specialize in sculptures and statues of seemingly every creature in the animal kingdom. And if you've ever driven by this place on your way to/from Half Moon Bay I'm sure you've seen a handful of the giant dinos they have roadside. Pull over and check those out (this is where traffic usually starts to really suck anyway so stretch your legs) and then head inside the archway to a wonderland of mythology and adventure.

A buddha I can relate to.

The 3 existing reviews here are all right-on for telling you about what this place has--a wonderful assortment of fountains, buddhas, yard statues, etc. I just wanted to say that it's really fun to look at all their stuff, and that I'm glad we finally stopped and went inside. A lot of their fountains are running so you can see them in action. Such an interesting selection of yard objects, nicely arranged. It was relaxing and fun to walk through it all. The dinosaurs outside are totally cool! Coming from Hayward to Half Moon Bay only once or twice a year, we've passed this place by for many years, just pointing out the dinosaurs to our kids and driving by, and I just want to say that it's worth it to stop and look around! The dinosaurs are cool up close!

    Slate planters

Fabulous place with some of the most beautiful water fountains you will ever see! Went there for slate planters (stunning) and soooo very happy with my purchase! Can't wait to return!

Jurassic park meets the SF zoo

The absolute best (and largest) assortment of outdoor garden art, fountains, spheres and plant containers ever. If the gigantic metal dinosaurs, Buddhas, and giraffes didn't get your attention from the roadway you might need to get your glasses checked!

I am partial to their garden decor, especially the adorable animal sculptures. I'm a shopper who loves a deal, so I was pleasantly surprised to see some lavender plants on sale outside of the store! No, I didn't purchase any because I have at least 8 lavender plants of my own at home, but someone will surely take advantage of the deal! I will definitely return when I'm back in Half Moon Bay!

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the calming scent of fresh lavender. The shop is beautifully curated, with a rustic yet elegant aesthetic that perfectly complements the soothing nature of its signature herb. The selection is impressive--everything from lavender essential oils and bath products to hand-crafted sachets, teas, and even culinary items like lavender-infused honey. Each product feels thoughtfully made and locally inspired. I picked up a few gifts. You can tell that great care goes into every item on the shelves. What really made the experience special was the genuine hospitality. The staff took the time to explain the different uses and benefits of lavender and offered samples without any pressure to buy. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this shop is a must-visit for a peaceful moment and some truly wonderful finds. I'll absolutely be returning the next time I'm in town!

I actually have a 3 ft tall rooster that was given to me as a joke about 12 yrs ago...I'm sure you can imagine "Cheryl has a BIG....er...keeping this G-rated....(word without the -a-doodle-do!) in the garden!" Um... yeahhh...Hey, I actually like my metal art and it's definitely a funny conversation piece...since then I've received smaller ones but not quite the same design as the one at Sun Studios. So when I called to inquire (Friday, 1/13/22, 130pm), I was given a price but when I arrived there today it was actually much more...a little disappointed with the person who told me otherwise...poo! The owner was kind enough to offer 10% off but will have to think about this one. Overall, Sun Studios is wonderful if you're looking for fountains, bird baths, metal art (dragons, goats and large crows!), concrete sculptures, planters and variety of decorative Mexican Talavera pottery to beautify your outdoor space. A fun place to peruse and potentially take something home

Will I just leave with inspiration? medium sized succulents are around $8-10, depending on what kind. I def suggest buying mediums as I find them much easier to grow than small ones which can get finnicky and die quicker if you water it wrong or give it the wrong conditions. seems to have better luck and sturdier when you bring them to the home already grown and more mature. They are organized by tables so if you're looking for a particular succulent, that and similar ones will all be in that area. The day I visited, I was looking for a smaller, 2 inch succulent. They don't carry a lot of the smaller varieties so I did walk out empty handed. He threw his cap at the floor, walked away from us at the register, and tried ignoring us to make us go away while there were others in line. I asked him not to raise his voice at us too. This was after he had charged us more than what was stated on the price tag of the bouquet. We paid it since wanted that bouquet in particular. This exchange overall felt very disrespectful. We had bought 10 peonies here for $67 dollars. The peonies here are $30 a bunch (5 pc). This is quite overpriced, as they are resold from another vendor. The quality of the flowers was also not great. One bunch of peonies had mold growing on it, meaning it had been there for awhile. We have bought fresher peonies at Whole Foods before. I don't recommend -- buying flowers here ruined my day, and that's the opposite point of buying flowers.
