The oatmeal cherry pistachio cookie is what cookie dreams are made of. Get it. It's soft and chewy interior with a crispy edge. Literal perfection.

    Vegetarian pesto sandwich

This place was busy when I arrived at 10am! We didn't have to wait long though. I got a black coffee and a vegetarian pesto sandwich. It was delicious! Unfortunately, I didn't specify that I wanted the vegetarian one and was first given a chicken pesto sandwich (I didn't even realize there was a chicken option!) I explained the confusion and they quickly made me a new one. I felt bad! They said it happens more often than you'd think, so be sure to be specific about which one you want!

Peanut butter cookie and oat milk latte - delicious!

Such a cozy and welcoming neighborhood spot! I came around 8:30 on a Sunday morning and it was peaceful at first, then quickly filled with happy customers. The oat milk latte was great and the peanut butter cookie was delicious. They also had other fun cookie flavors like Fruity Pebble, cranberry oat pistachio, and sprinkle. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I'll have to come back to try their other food and drink offerings!

Didn't have any drinks (they looked good though) but good vibes. They were out of a lot of food but whipped feta was good, not great

What a hidden gem! We've ordered 2 different types of sandwiches and 4 variety of beverages (see photos). Staffs are so friendly explaining all the ingredients and very accommodating to our dietary needs. Upon entering the restaurant, we grab a menu and place order at the counter then grab a table to seat yourself. I for ambience is modern, clean and outdoor seating is also available. Parking is available on the street. I would highly recommend this place for food, coffee and wine - all of their menu selections are impressive. Bon appetite! We've ordered: Muffuletta sandwich, Fable eggplant pastrami sandwich, Rosemary latte, Lavender blossom latte, glass of Pinot Noir & Nitro Cold brew. Delicious!

I found this elegant coffee shop near where I'm staying on Beacon Hill. The place is laid out in a very comforting and relaxing fashion, serving well prepared coffee drinks and a great selection of pastries. They also have a full wine bar which makes it a great place to come anytime of the day. The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be visiting periodically since it's an enjoyable place to hang. It is located within easy walking distance of the beacon Hill links stop. I recommend the place highly.

    Chicken sausage breakfast sandwich

Enjoyed the vibes at this cafe and all the different foods that they offer. They were helpful and happy to answer any questions we had when ordering. Lattes: autumn latte and mapleine Mocha are both great options, their drinks aren't too sweet which is lovely with seasonal flavors. Although, the oat milk they use in their lattes seems too watery or not creamy enough? It might be the combo of milk to autumn latter syrup/mix though. Chicken sausage breakfast sandwich: great flavor, solid type of bread for a breakfast sandwich, ask for their hot sauce to eat with this, it was excellent! Seasonal butternut squash soup: this was creamy in texture and the oil on top went well with the soup, but for some reason this soup wasn't my favorite Masa waffle: wow the texture on this waffle is so good!! The smoked paprika butter was an interesting change and the tamarind syrup was pretty strong so a little goes a looooong way with the syrup. Make sure you dip and don't pour the syrup on the waffle. Keyyyyy

Missed soft opening and the grand opening weekend. Hope to stop by soon (7/31/23)

I miss Vif in Fremont, never got to Petite Soif on Beacon Hill, but this afternoon I made it a point to stop by Fable, the current business here along busy Beacon Ave S (8/2/23). This stretch from 15th Ave S to Spokane has a nice collection of cafes, bars, and restaurants to check out. After nearly an hour in I-5S traffic, I had to detour through Capitol Hill & CID just to get to Beacon Hill. Lucked out with nearby street parking, and just an fyi, Fable is located along a Metro route and reasonable walking distance from the light rail station. Fable is a lovely oasis, the interior has natural light along the tree lined street. Lush foliage throughout the space. Overhead music to chill out and relax. There's a few sidewalk tables, six indoor tables, some bar/counter seating too. And yes, there's WiFi. Fable exudes a welcoming, neighborhood vibe. Currently, they offer beverages, baked goods, and some eats. I opted for a 16oz Twin Brook Cold Brew Mocha which was very refreshing. The peanut butter cookie had a crisp sugary exterior with moist, flavorful interior crumb. Definitely a nice spot to grab some beer & wine to go, nosh on something tasty, have a pleasant meetup, or a spontaneous detour to just chill.

Salmon sandwich - pretty substantial meal. 7/10

TLDR - what you see is what you get here. Living in beacon hill I would say this is the best coffee shop in the area. There's gonna be something here for everyone, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and everything in between. Like I said in the tldr. If you see the photos of the establishment and like the vibe I confident you will like it here.

They do have a good wine list, but the pricing is HIGH. Think $25-$45 PER GLASS. Some of the wines this made sense for, but they really should consider adding a wine or two below $25 per glass. I have my WSET 2 and know a decent amount about wines so could understand why some of them were priced like this, but the whole menu being this high was strange. $32 for a glass of pinot noir didn't sit right with me. We asked to do flights so we could try a few things, but they said they were only doing glass pours. We asked for a rec for an acidic, fruity red and felt like the gal just told us the most expensive non-tannic red on the menu. Fine. For $32 a glass, I would not order what I got again. We headed to a restaurant after and got $14 glass pours that we preferred. This is a great place to go to impress someone with the chic vibes, but good wine can be found elsewhere at a fraction of the price. I do see the appeal though. It was also pretty loud when we went, so we chose to finish our conversation elsewhere.

When I went for my first time. It was on a hot day this past June. Me and my partner thought we'd go and treat ourselves to a nice outing. Since I've always wanted to try this place due to hearing a bunch of good things from some colleagues. We set our eyes on a late lunch/ early dinner at Bottle House. Came in optimistic especially after being seated right away in their outdoor patio section. We were off to a great start, until it turned into a lot of waiting. We gave the benefit of the doubt assuming they were just busy. It wasn't until we saw a few groups that got seated after us get their order taken before us that we decided to flag someone down. Once we did, we were told to wait a few more moments because another group had to be checked on before we could get our orders taken. Surprisingly we were still in good spirits. We ordered our drinks, as well as our food so we could be set. Then afterwards our drinks came. This is where my experience spiraled down. I picked up my wine glass filled with this Bordeaux wine that I was excited to try. Pressed the rim against my lip and took my sip. It hit me like a hot flash. The temperature of this wine was warmer than warm. It also wasn't just my wine but my partners's as well. So we managed to get a servers attention, voiced our concern and asked if we could order a different drink. I decided to go with a cocktail and my partner decided to order the Chardonnay. When they dropped off our new drinks, they happened to be the wrong drinks. What had happened was they were a different tables drinks and when we flagged the same server down. they already seemed annoyed that we were gonna address a discrepancy. We eventually got the right drinks then our food. At that point we just wanted to drink our drinks and finish our food. I enjoyed the food flavor wise, but I wasn't satisfied with the amount of food for the price I paid. If it was one of the better things I ate in my life I would be happy with paying however much for the amount of food I got. Sadly that wasn't the case. White wine was chilled so it was good and I liked the Chardonnay. The old fashion wasn't akin to a typical old fashion. It was more like a boulevardier, not as whiskey forward, but more alcoholic. Not my favorite old fashion All in all this review was geared towards service, and quality of the drinks. Especially if you're supposed to be known for the variety of wines you serve. I would hope you can serve them at a decent temperature. Based off this experience alone, I wouldn't personally suggest them if someone was looking for a recommendation.
