This is a SCAM. Hidden and a very dodgy way to take your money! Fabletic cought you with its offer of two pair of leggings for £29, which it is a lie. Once you make your first purchase, fabletic automaticly add you in the VIP member list, without your consent. 49£  are taken from your account and will be taken every single month!! Even if you cancel the membership, they still keep your £49 which you can use, they said! But the offers have gone and the only thing than you can buy for this amount is a pair of shorts! I can't even begin to recollect the many arduous processes and phone calls and online chats I have had to drudge through with Fabletics, and I have STILL NOT got what I needed from them. It is a nightmare and the worst company I have ever done business with-DO NOT sign up- it is a trap! First of all, the base of this company relies on you spending money when you do not want to- once you sign up, you must remember to cancel every month if you do not want to be charged about $50 every month. Their goal is to have your credit card be continuously charged. Apparently they cannot rely on their customers choosing of their free will to buy their products, so they must have it set up to cheat you and get your money without your acknowledgement. Then, when you forget to spend those credits, they are somehow "changed" into "gift cards" instead of "member credits" without your acknowledgment or knowledge. So, literally years ago when this happened to me, I tried to go online and use my credits that I had stocked up because of forgetting to cancel each month, but I had none to use. Where had my hard earned money gone? To some unknown "gift cards" company. I had no information, no contact, no email sent to me telling me about the change in my money or how to access my money. I have since spent countless hours (yes, HOURS!) of my life calling Fabletics and chatting with their customer service online to try to get my money transferred back from unusable gift cards to "store credit." Time and time again I have been told that I will be emailed all my information and codes in order to use them. I have even been told I will be emailed a big discount "for my troubles," but alas, that never happened either. The way this business works is congested and complex in order to get you to give up, quit, and leave your money with them. They play a game with you, don't give you what you need, and then hope you will get tired and give in. Any company that doesn't allow you to cancel a membership conveniently online is dangerous. Every single time I have spoken to a person and they have told me something would be done, it never has been. And that isn't even going into the amount of times I have spoken to people in customer service that haven't helped at all, haven't known how to help, or just give you the run around, handing you from person to person until you have spent an hour and gotten nowhere new at all. So this time around (I am trying AGAIN to get my money) I spend over an hour speaking to customer service, and finally, they give me a new contact, a number to gift cards, a completely different company. Turns out, apparently, Fabletics cannot even give me the codes to my gift cards, because THIS OTHER COMPANY has them. ANOTHER COMPANY has MY MONEY. Fabletics must be getting money from them. What a scheme! So I had to spend more time calling ANOTHER company about an issue that Fabletics has given me for over a year. And never once did they give me this number or information before- I wonder why. This is terrible business. The gift card company promised me that the codes will be in my email within 24 hours. I have been told this before. We shall see. My confidence in Fabletics is non-existent. This process and others with Fabletics are ridiculous. I will tell everyone I know how bad of a company it is- my work out classes, friends that coach and teach, all my family and friends. I will keep posting bad reviews on other websites in order to warn others from using this terrible company that is literally set up to steal our money. When I have chosen the outfits they put together, in the end, you cannot even get them with your credits. This is a whole other issue with their site- they purposefully make these sets of clothing that are priced at different numbers, in order to make it difficult to equal out to the amount of credits you have- therefore, in the end, you use your credits but you always have to spend more money in addition to the credits you already spent, because none of the outfit sets equals out to the credit amounts. Confusing? They do it on purpose! It really takes all the fun out of shopping. Besides that, I have tried using my credits and each time I have, their site doesn't even work! Many times, you choose the perfect outfit set to fit your credit amounts, spend hours shopping and putting them in your cart, and then, you try to check out and that outfit is unavailable, even though the site shows it is available and allows you to put it in your cart. I have called multiple times about this issue as well, and CS has said that it is a problem they see and cannot seem to fix. What? How can you not make your system show what items are available or not available? How can you not correct this? I have waited on the phone for more time than I wish to remember, and to no avail in the end. Just disappointment and an emptying of my shopping cart that apparently is "not available." I've been a member for about 3 years now and I still love Fabletics. The store is always extremely clean, organized, color coded and stocked. I have had such a great experience 90% of the time I go. Sometimes I get a new associate who has a difficult time figuring out outfits and gives some wrong information but I am understanding. Sierra was the first associate who helped me when I signed up and wow is she awesome, sweet and professional. Kerri helped me before too and she is also fantastic. The manager (who recent left) was so helpful too. They are constantly trying to help you during your shopping, find sizes for you and help you get the best deal possible. The quality of the fabrics is amazing. I'm not sure why others have issues. I also love lululemon and their quality but Fabletics is definitely as good in quality in my opinion. I've had my Fabletics for years now and they hold up so well. Their outerwear/jackets are suuuuuch good quality. I wear them to work and I get sooo many compliments, even from men. They have lasted years and still look new. The bras fit very well and they offer an array of choices. One thing that I like is that they included plus sizes but it sucks because not everything comes in plus size. They don't make it entirely inclusive which is annoying. I've brought family members and friends here and now they are addicted like me. As much money as I have spent here, I am very satisfied. Now to rate the membership system. I haven't had a problem really with it. You have the option to skip within the fist 5 days of the month and not get charged. Seriously it's not that hard. About a year ago my credit card expired so Fabletics wasn't able to charge me for months. Now that it has been fixed, even when I skip the month they charge me. I called customer service and they said they are charging me for the months previously that they weren't able to charge me due to my expired card. This makes absolutely no sense to me and I will need to fix it. But all in all I haven't had any serious issues. read more

All the employees were so kind and welcoming, I had a lady super informative and great customer service! She helped me the whole time to figure out what I wanted and if they didn't have it in store, they could order it online for you! (Free shipping!!!) I was a VIP member of Fabletics forever! If I had social media I would blast this everywhere. But I will definitely get people to do it for me. I placed an order back in August of 2018. They needed to do an exchange. Do you know they sent me an empty delivery package. Seriously. I wrote return to sender, didn't even take it from the carrier. First they said it would take 6-12 weeks to send a check for the refund. Had no problem taking my money immediately out by debit when I've been ordering all this time. I waited. And waited.....and waited.... Let's fast forward. Multiple calls later. Four calls in six days over this last two weeks (oh, did I mention it is April of 2019???? Pretty sure I waited past that 6-12 time frame I was told over and over again) Nine months now have gone by. They can't seem to figure out what happened to the check request. The Worst of the Worst Where to Begin? Atrocious customer service starting with canned email responses and no easy way to return items for anything but the same item you are returning. It's a bizarre company. The clothing quality is hit or miss and is largely Old Navy quality clothing at 3x the cost. I have been a loyal Fabletics customer for many months now and had purchased various outfits, leggings, tops ect. So, I noticed online Black Friday deals started and walked into the Topanga store ready to purchase. I already had 2 leggings in mind. Easy! The younger associate (didn't catch her name) great me intensively chewing gum!!! She was talking to me and continued to chew all the time while she was assisting me!!! That's just very rude! I mentioned the offer that I saw online and asked if the store can match it. She wasn't aware of it at all when it was written right when you open Fabletics website. So, I opened Fabletics.com from my iPhone and showed it to her. Her manager confirmed that they can match it. So, I described her 2 leggings I would like to try just to make sure since the fabric was different from one powehold made from. She would not let me to go to the fitting room, she said I have to give her my email first along with my name. I said that I am a member and regardless, any person should be able to simply try clothes which he/she desires. Sales associate attitude wasn't pleasant and it's almost felt as she was doing me a favor. I left frustrated plus I didn't buy what I wanted because my experience was already spoiled. As a customer I should not be restricted going and trying the clothes I picked. I asked the associate twice(!!!) if I can just go and try my leggings. She said-No, unless I give her my e-mail. THIS IS NONSENSE! When I am ready to purchase I can provide my info at the register, and I should not be forsed into data or statistics about customer selection. I feel that standards for customer service went down and even when I called to speak with the store manager this situation wasn't even brought up to her fully. It shouldn't be like this! And if corporate reading my feedback please note that in-store assistance it is a big deal. This company is running a complete scam, and if I were Kate Hudson, I would remove my name from association with it. I decided to take advantage of the offer of two pairs of leggings for $24 just to try them out. I initially signed up for the VIP membership but made careful note of the date by which I would need to cancel to avoid automatic shipments at $50 per month. Then, I waited. The leggings took 10 days to arrive and there was no shipping information available to track when they would arrive. When they arrived, I tried on one pair (they were identical) and found that they didn't work for my body type. I went online and followed the instructions to return both pair for a refund, printed the label, and shipped them back to Fabletics the very next day and subscribed to USPS tracking of my return. 7 days later my tracking indicated that they had been picked up and processed. The very next day, I got an email from Fabletics that my exchange was on the way. (?) I didn't request an exchange, I requested a refund. Perhaps they were being difficult because I had cancelled my VIP membership in order not to receive additional shipments before I had received my first order... I then called Fabletics and was treated to 25 minutes of useless discussion with a representative before I had to ask for a supervisor. The representative was apparently not empowered to DO anything other than read me what little she could tell from their system - that someone at Fabletics had processed one of the two pairs of leggings that I returned (which she insisted they had not yet received) was processed as an exchange for the exact same legging in the exact same size. This is where the scam starts. Who, upon receiving 2 identical pairs of leggings, would request a refund for 1, and exchange the other for exactly the same thing that they were returning. It was a not very subtle tactic to avoid refunding my money. All the representative could do was keep insisting that I had requested an exchange. I then had to wait 15 more minutes to speak with a supervisor. They did not count on my tenacity and figured that I would just hang up. It then took me another 10 minutes with the supervisor to finally have her assure me that as soon as they received my return, which USPS tracking indicated they had received several days prior, they would issue me a full refund. She also said that for my convenience, when the "exchange" arrived, rather than take the effort to return it, I could just give that pair of leggings to a friend who might like them. She said she was noting their records to ensure that I got all of my money back, and so that no further charges were incurred. I thought my problem was solved. Two weeks later, not having see a refund from Fabletics on my credit card, I called again. The representative I spoke with indicated that they still had not received my return, but that they had (on the same date that I was talking with him) just happened to have processed a refund for 1/2 of my order which should appear on my credit card in 5-7 days. He then said he was submitting a refund for the other half of my order plus the shipping that I had paid. He said that no further charges would be made to my credit card. Apparently some of the representatives can actually DO something other than recite back what their system says, or I got a supervisor who wasn't busy. I'm sorry, but I think that Fabletics is just out to get and keep money. I need to also relate that their web site is difficult to manage, and has very little useful/accurate order, shipping, or return status. I also could not find any billing history information. I'm normally not one to write reviews, but I had to because I've had the worst experience with this company. When I signed up for a VIP membership, I said I was fine with receiving emails and promotions from them each month. However, it never said anything about your account getting charged if you didn't decline the offers when I signed up. I checked my account and saw that I had been charged $50, but no where does it say this will happen when you sign up. I finally was able to talk to a customer service rep and they gave me a refund. They told me to call back after the money was refunded to cancel my account. I did this about a week later, and the person who helped me confirmed that my VIP account had been canceled. I checked my bank account about a month later and saw that I had been charged another $50 from them. This time, I didn't receive any emails about an offer, and I figured since my VIP account was canceled there was no need to check in the first place. I called customer service again, and they basically told me it was my fault because I should have checked the email. But I thought my account was canceled so this shouldn't have happened in the first place! They finally gave me another refund and canceled my account, so hopefully my account is actually canceled for good this time. Also, their customer service is not very helpful. It's very hard to hear them because of the background noise, and they don't speak English very well so they don't understand what you're trying to say and what the problem is. They keep trying to push you to keep your account even when you tell them that you've had a terrible experience. And another note: one pair of my leggings ripped after only one time wearing them. Definitely not worth the price, and definitely not worth the amount of work it takes just to cancel your account. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I resisted the membership deal at Fabletics for so long, but I went into this store one day and totally gave in. The Salar pants fit me so well, which is a feat for a short and curvy body like mine, and they're so pretty. The people who work here are super helpful too. The first time I went in, I chose not to complete my outfit, and when I went home, I changed my mind. I went back to the store within a month, and they gladly let me complete the outfit for just a few dollars more. Just wish they had more of a collection. Hopefully they keep adding to it. read more

They trick you into signing up by making the membership fee a part of The fine print.... you shouldn't have to have a law degree to read through a companies membership contract to know if they charge you or not. Then when I tried to return the shorts that they incorrectly sent me they told me they don't have them in stock but I only have a limited amount of time to order them. I bought two pairs of leggings in December, then had a 2 for 25 deal and the girl who rang me up with their portable register signed me up for their VIP membership which then charged me 50 a month!!! She offered the membership and I told her that I was not interested but I gave her my email so she could email me my receipt. I'm trying to use less paper, it's better for the environment. As a result I get charged 50 for Jan and Feb this year. I called their store and asked to speak to a manager and they said they don't handle "customer service" billing issues in the store! I had to spend two days, and talk to two different people through their customer service line just to get my refund back on something I didn't sign up for in the first place. There is no customer service in the US. Don't even try contacting them via chat on their website. I was left waiting for + 1 hour without a response. They process refunds by CHECK that take 8 to 12 months to arrive in hopes to discourage you from making a refund request and keeping their service. They sell your information to magazine subscriptions. I received 8 magazines at my house shortly after my first purchase. They do not apologize for their poor service or their inconveniences to their customers. Their facebook and twitter is also littered with angry customer experiences. Total scam. I purchased two leggings and a shirt on their website. They stated it was free to become a VIP member. They don't give you the option if you want to become one or not, they make you VIP automatically. Here's the catch. Every month you have to log in and say you want to skip this month from shopping or they charge you a fee of $50 for not purchasing every month. I was not aware of this. I found out until 3 months later when I viewed my credit card statements and I noticed in a period of 3 months I was charged a total of $150. This is crazy. I hardly write a review or even have a customer service issue, but Fabletics was amazingly unhelpful. I placed an online order (982438719) on 2/26 for gym shorts. I called that it said delivered on 3/5 but was NOT delivered or received by me. They advised me to wait and see if it showed up, it did not. I contacted again on 3/10 and was told a replacement shipment was going out and I would be getting a tracking number. I waited, and heard nothing. I contacted again on Thursday 3/18 and was told to wait another 48 hours. I waited 48 hours and contacted again on 3/22 and was told the systems were down and could not be helped. At one point, in the middle of this dispute a rep tried to push me to sign up for the monthly subscription deals - which I thought was completely laughable and tone deaf seeing as how I couldn't get my package or help from any employees! I contacted seller again on 3/22 and was again told by a representative that a shipment would be coming to me and a tracking number would be sent to me. By 3/24 and I had not received shipment confirmation so I contacted seller again and the rep Rhona doesn't have information on this order and I have to start all over. This has been almost a month now with a dozen attempts to get my order. I told the rep that morning that if a shipment has not been sent after this long and multiple reassurances from the company that I just need a refund. I have not heard back from Fabletics since, never received my order, and have not gotten a refund. I wish I had done some research on this company and seen all of the other negative interactions others have experienced as well. read more

If I could give this place 0 stores I would. My mother went to this store to do an exchange. Once there I was on the phone with her there were 3 employees standing at the register as they always do. My mother stood in line with no one in front of her. They didn't greet her or call her forward. She had to ask them to help her, I heard one of them ask "what do you need" the level of racism, stereo typing that exists in this team is unreal. I have worked in retail myself, as an employee you are supposed to represent the companies values with every interaction with your customer. When you only greet a customer that looks a certain way you are discriminating. I have experienced this before in this store but I live my life understanding the experience employees in retail have and try not to hold their bad behavior against them. I know how hard it is to deal with different people. But enough is enough, I draw the line with making my mother feel inferior. I will be calling corporate and canceling my membership. I wish I could give zero stars. I was waiting in line at a store nearby and I was thinking of checking out their leggings because they got a new kiosk in the Topanga mall. But on further review I couldn't help but notice as I was approaching them that 2 of their associates were arguing and using foul language to nearby associates of the other tenants. Wasn't sure what the situation was but I was immediately disappointed and did not want to give them any business. They were making a spectacle in front of the entire mall. Their clothes are really good, but everything else is kind of awful. There have been so many times I've tried adding to my cart and when I checkout the item is unavailable. Another time, I purchased the item already and checked the next day where it was just crossed out saying that the item was unavailable. Then, they didn't take a visa gift card I had so it was useless. Finally, they canceled my entire purchase after paying and ordering $73 of items because I no longer needed the VIP (which I cancelled after doing all of this). Read the reviews! This business "model" is basically designed for the owner to get more than her fair share of the buyer's hard earned money. The clothes are overpriced--the fabric is cheap--almost all polyester, which is basically a petroleum product. You can't even search for cotton items. They make me itch and feel terrible on my skin. I was told I could "opt-out" of their VIP program.. which we did.. more than a year ago... thta did not stop Fabletics from randomly making charges to my card on different months... just got a new one 3 months ago, an another the following month... my Credit Card company took care of it, but their attempts to rob me continue.. once they have your number, it seems they just continue on their path of attempted robbery.. they absolutely suck... read more
