First time visit this weekend, I needed a facial ASAP due to severe dry skin. It was easy to make a same day appointment and they're open late. I was greeted upon arrival, the front desk girls were kind and offered beverage options and I went with champagne. It's clean and really pretty inside. My esthetician Giselle was the absolute best! We discussed my skin concerns, she provided recommendations and we went into treatment mode. She explained everything beforehand and as treatment was happening I.e. this may feel cold, you might feel some tingling. I appreciate the communication and care she put into my face. I was disappointed on my 2nd time. I had the impression I still have 1 facial left for my monthly membership and will just pay additional services. But I was surprised that I only half credits and not enough to pay for my session. It was not explained after the first session nor before the 2nd session. So I end up paying for my 2nd month membership because I already used up my credits. I paid more than $500 on my first session and immediately schedule within the month to avail of my monthly membership. Only to find out it was not the case. It was a rip off. Very disappointed Went in for the so extra facial and my esthetician didn't tell me anything about my skin or what it needs for improvements. I've also never had someone never look/feel at my skin prior to deciding what treatments to do. She asked where I wanted the peptide cream to be/focused on like I'm supposed to know where that goes. At the end she looks at the window and then said "you don't need sunscreen right?" Referencing how it's overcast and 5pm. Regardless the sun was still out And I said yes...yes I do... and at the point I just wanted to leave. She put the sunscreen on and she said I was done. Kinda disappointed there was no lip balm either. My skin felt tight and just was a terrible experience for me. You're better off getting an actual facial from a knowledgeable esty. read more

About 3 months ago I went into Facialworks on a whim to get a facial and I am so happy that I did so. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a pleasantly hello and welcome from one of the Aestheticians Haneen. Her bright and warm genuine smile made me feel welcomed. Little did I know she would be the one giving me a facial at the bar. As I sat down to recieve my facial she explained everything so great to me and went over all of the recommendations and she knew her stuff. I had a few questions and she was on top of her information and is very knowledgeable and professional. As I recieved my facial I could tell through her great and gentle touch that she knew what she was doing and I was in great hands! Haneen's touch was fluid and relaxing and calming. Since I posted this Jenny has moved and no longer works at this location but let me tell you all about TAMMY! Super professional, very nice and attentive! She makes sure you leave that room satisfied. She tailors the facial to you making sure to focus on areas that need it the most and a little less on areas where you don't, this makes it feel very custom and not just like she's going through the motions. I have been there twice. The first time I ended up with a very small bruise under my eye. The second time the music in the room was so loud that it had the opposite effect of relaxation. To be completely honest, I wasn't impressed. I get a lot of facials and this one didn't necessarily relax me or make me feel like my skin was baby soft after. I understand their concept is all natural products which I love but theirs don't work that good - and that's my opinion. I paid the same price I do for any facial but get a massage and steam and a private room. Facial works you get the VERY basic for $60 and for extractions it's and additional $20 and so on and so forth the more you want. It's not exactly about the money it's just mainly about the whole experience was not worth the $80 I paid. read more

I got the Revival Favial with a Double O2 Infusion (extra add-on), I got cool and hydrating sensations with the honey mask, aloe + cucumber O2 Infusion, & cool balls! This is not worth the $160 (including tip) service. All of the facials I have had in the past are relaxing and enjoyable. You are literally sat in a bright open room next to other people and hearing their conversations. Nothing relaxing about it. They literally only rubbed a whole bunch of different lotions and serums on my face for 45 minutes. In the end the recommended products for me and I ended up paying $240 for two small products which I later returned after going home and reading their reviews. Nothing has a price so you find this out at checkout. I do not recommend this business if you are looking for a spa relaxing day. read more

I've been getting facials here about once a month for the past 5-6 months. I've tried the bar facials and the hydra facial and loved them both. I grown to love the bar facials more though just because I'm able to come with a friend and enjoy my time here more. I've gone with Angelina and Ashley and they both do such great jobs! My skin is very acne prone and they always make sure to give me the best treatment advice. I love their products as well. I'm obsessed with their sunscreen and I use it everyday now! All my friends I've brought have really enjoyed their time as well. Its a fun thing to do to get the girls together and have a glass of champagne and get pampered! This review is for the esthetician Angeline or Angelina. Believe it or not this will be my very first negative review ever as I normally don't write reviews or I only write positive ones. I am regular at Facialworks who unfortunately met Angeline last Friday when her manager was out of town. :( Her name is Angeline but she is no Angel. She was extremely mean to me and unprofessional. I came early to my appt and wanted to purchase a cleanser using my loyalty points. She didn't allow me to use points towards the product and said that there was no such thing and asked where I heard that from and who told me. All these questions coming at me rudely. I pointed to the flyer that was on the desk stating clearly "points are non transferable and may be applied to services, products, gift cards, packages and memberships." She then said there was nothing on my account. I immediately logged onto my account using my phone and showed her that I have 62 dollars left worth of points to use. She picked up the phone probably calling her manager...she was then given step by step instructions on how to apply points to products so when she was done talking on the phone I asked her if I was wrong or did she learn something new. Instead of laughing it off, apologizing or admitting she was not familiar with the system she said "No there was a problem and I AM TRYING to HELP YOU!" She was trying to help ME solve a problem that SHE created? It doesn't make sense. Her tone of voice and her eyes were so evil and mean. I wrote this review hoping that she will stop treating people like this; I am sure if her manager was there she probably won't dare. Btw I have had her as my esthetician once before and she did my Hydra-facial that costs $$$ in 36 minutes. If you want to have your money and time worth don't book Angeline. There are so many other awesome estheticians at this location. Nikki, Jenny, and Tammy were the sweetest and so professional but I think they no longer work here. :( Claudia and Chloe are super sweet as well. My wife and I went to Facialworks for a hydrating facial. While the staff were attentive, spent plenty of time on both of us and the facility was very nice and clean the results of the facial weren't good. After the facial my wife started to break out and her frown lines became more noticeable. I didn't have much better results either. I had a great experience at Facialworks in Irvine Spectrum. My aesthetician, Natalie, was very knowledgeable and considerate. She asked about my skin type and purpose of visit, and from that she selected an option within the category I chose that will suit my needs most. She explained every step, every product she put on my face as well as what kind of feeling I should be expecting. She continuously asked if I felt ok or if I wanted the product off, which was very considerate. The other places I've been to before never explained how my skin was supposed to feel or asked how my skin was feeling, so if it was prickly or tingly, I never knew if it was normal or if I should speak up. The prices are really reasonable as well, along the lines of what I used to pay for. I also really like their products. In just one session I could really see the difference in my skin. I'm definitely going to sign up for their membership so I can start going there twice a month for $95! What a deal! read more
