Keep track of your tab if you're getting drinks for friends. They did well, but we moved around. As for food the wings were really good. The charcuterie was delicious. Mussels were a little sandy--but this is Ohio. Pretzel was good too. For entrees the lamb burger was excellent and the corned beef and cabbage was lean and tasty, but different from home with the mustard sauce. Service was slow but they were slammed. 4.5 stars. Ambience, food, wait staff, comfort and noise level were all above average. Prices are a tad high but given the location and COVID recoup I get it but it's MHO. Will definitely be back. Free parking in the garage across the street is very conducive to driving out of our way to stop in for a bite. They clean tables and chairs after each customer leaves - kudos! read more

Very upsetting visit to Fado today. Sat at the bar and the service started out fine. However at some point we didn't get service from ANY of the many employees walking by us over and over again. I tried to get the attention of a bartender or server many times. I finally got my water refilled and then ended sat with an empty water glass for another hour. Also no busing of the empty plates and glasses. We have frequented this establishment often but highly doubt we will be back. read more

So, this place is definitely not a traditional Irish pub - it is really just a large restaurant. I didn't even get a pub feel from the decor. But for people in Dublin OH, this probably works. So the atmosphere was not for me, and to make it worse, on the night we went, there was a group of small kids running around the room and constantly going in and out of the outside door that was right next to our table. And it was chilly out, so that was fun. Even after the kids left, adults kept going in and out of the door. Really enjoyed a cold breeze every 2 minutes - that will be super fun in winter! Oh, and there was a nice techno music beat in the restaurant for some reason. Food at our table was generally just OK, fish and chips and burger were average. I will say that the Shepherd's Pie was amazing. More traditional to have lamb in a Shepherd's Pie, so I was a little initially disappointed that their version has beef, but it was so good that I forgot about that. Desserts were solid too. This was a place I frequented quite often prior to Covid. Honestly, the service was never the greatest, but their food was always on point and so we always went back. I don't know what happened to their menu-or if they just took away the one item I begged my husband to take me to get every week (crispy skinned sea bass-whereeeeee are you?!?!?) but it leaves a lot to be desired now. The goat cheese balls are still around and delicious so this is good news, definitely get those. I had left a more positive review when they first opened and can't seem to locate it that included our faves from before. Our family of 5 decided one of the first place we would venture out after lockdown was Fado in Bridge Park. We all got the fish and chips and was the best any of us had ever had. Better than Old Bag of Nails! The priced was raised from $15.00 to $19.00. Figuring due to COVID, restaurants were either going to cut quality of raise prices. We agreed, better to have the higher price than less quality if we had to pick. My wife and I finally got back again as we were craving there fish and chips. Quality was no where near previous visit. Fish was tough and chewy with lots of bones, much smaller and not as crisp on the outside.. It seems they sacrificed both price and quality. Very disappointing. COVID policy is excellent. First time going here for brunch and it did not disappoint! We had the cold brew Dublin coffees to start which is a great take on the Irish coffee. We then got the doughnuts, eggs Benedict, and breakfast tacos. Seriously so good, better breakfast tacos than Katalina's "best in Columbus". They are a little spicy, but so good! I drove 45 minutes to Dublin, and my sister got off early to meet me only to find the place was closed down for a private event. Atmosphere is good, service was fine but food seems average at best. We had the Rueben and Chicken sandwiches. The corn beef was good but cole slaw tasted like it came from GFS. Chicken was prepared better and more flavorful. Surprised that they didn't have more "Irish" or Ohio selections on draft. This has been our go to place in Bridge Park since it opened. Food has always been delicious and consistent. Sad to say the last two times we've been there, the food has been bad. We dined for brunch on Saturday. I got the root vegetable Tian, it was on a specials menu. Root vegetables were cold and partially raw. I only took a few bites and brought it home to maybe cook it through for a leftover. The waitress never asked how the food was. On another note, the bartender was putting on makeup behind the bar. Stopped in to check out the happy hours specials. I was sitting at the bar, bartenders seemed new as it was taking a while to get drinks out. I had plenty of time to waste so it wasn't a big deal but the rest of the wait staff was lined up waiting for their orders to be filled. As for food, their website just says "$6 starters" but doesn't specify which ones. When looking at the menu they are marked with "HH" but none of the ones I wanted were part of happy hour. I ended up getting the pretzel, wings, and fries. The pretzel was decent, the fries were really good, and the wings were okay. I might come back but not sure. read more

Fado Pub & Kitchen was very nice for our office Christmas party. This review won't comment on individual foodies but what came out for office co-workers to share was delicious. To name just a few: deviled eggs (yes!), sliders (yes!), reuben sandwich quesadilla (uh huh, yes!), goat cheese puffs (oh, heck yeah!), salad (very good), and much more. Service was a tad bit slow on drinks but Fado was packed with peeps on a Tuesday night the week before Christmas. All is forgiven. Our group shared the semi-private suite that view Riverside Drive which has its very own bar set-up and a good one. It's a restaurant, and a nice decor to boot, that does have decent HDTV sports viewing in the main hall (GO CREW! and GO JACKETS!). It's a restaurant first. Yes! We really enjoy Fado. It's an easy walk from our apartment, the food is good, and we have recommended it to our families when they are in town to visit. Honestly, the only complaint I have (and why I didn't give a 5 star review) is the lack of changing tables in the bathrooms. On our last visit (Father's Day brunch), we saw a young couple with a small baby who were forced to change their baby's diaper in their booth because of this, which is an uncomfortable situation for everyone. I'd understand the lack of changing tables (maybe) if the restaurant was in the Short North but Dublin is so family heavy it doesn't make much sense. read more

Dublin Ireland Pub arrives in Dublin, OH. This is the latest, and the greatest addition to Bridge Park. This newcomer to Bridge Park has the feel of an old world pub that meets modern style. The staff here is incredible. They welcome you here like it's an old homecoming. We were seated within a minute, greeted by the proprietor, Ian Montgomery, and taken care of by exquisite staff. Their was a nice fluidity at the bar. People were flowing in for a bite and/or a beverage, but the space is ample so it never felt crowded. Beverages we're kept full with precise attention from the staff. We tried the grilled pork chop and the goat cheese balls. The pork chop was grilled to perfection on top of roasted vegetables. The goat cheese balls were delicately crispy and lightly fried deliciousness. The drafts were poured to perfection. We cannot wait to try this place out on disco night. This is Bridge Park's crowing jewel, and definitely our new favorite! read more

My friends and i came here for a girls night while were in town staying with a friend. The atmosphere and restaurant itself is very nice, well decorated, and spacious. It is good for large groups who want to watch sports or just have a nice dinner together--it's large but not too loud, you can still carry a conversation easily. Our waiter was very attentive. We split a few bottles of wine and had entrees. I had the baked chicken baguette which was delicious, a well portioned sandwich and the chips were good as well, I'd give it an 8/10. My friends enjoyed the fish & chips, RLT sandwich, and burger--they all had great things to say about their food. This restaurant is a great place for small and large groups and people of any age. I formerly loved this restaurant. I loved the beet salad. I ordered blackened salmon with salad. What I received was a piece of salmon smaller than a small chicken finger. So disappointed. I told the waitress how ridiculous it was and she didn't seem fazed. I asked her to remove the fish and she did just that.
