I was there last night- saturday ( 11/23/2019) with my wife & business buddy and his wife. ( basically my family). It was my wife & i first visit, but my my bro and his wife had been there a few times prior. I must say, the food and atmosphere was amazing! We felt very welcomed and everyone from the cashier (ower's wife) to the wait staff, were very enthusiastic, encouraging & warm towards our party. Even the owner( Jamal) came over to introduce himeself and his wife! A family owned-style restaurant. I definitely recommend the "Steak philly" for those visiting for first time. We closed the place down, we were there so long and the owner even switched up music and played some great tunes. All products are Halal which was great to know. I've been going to this place since they were still called Agees, on Wilson in Chicago. The new location tastes exactly the same as I remember from 10 years ago and brought back many nostalgic memories. The owner and his wife are some of the nicest people, the food tastes great, and the new redesigned ambiance is tastefully done. Very fair prices and only high quality ingredients are used. The philly cheesesteak and Maulana burger are two of the best items on the menu and must try if you haven't. When you go here, just recognize that it's not a fast food restaurant, and all the food is made fresh when you order. You won't get your food as fast as McDonalds, but it will taste 100x better. An absolute knockout of an experience! I am always a little bit wary of new places promising a unique experience... well, this one delivered! Open layout greeted us with friendly but not over-bearing service. The mango habanero chicken wings are ! Likewise, the fries are just as they ought to be: crunchy, salted well and plentiful. The Swiss Mushroom burger was a 10/10... smoky, filling and crunch, served on a toasted brioche bun! Now... these folks are known for their Maulana Burger.... and boy does it deliver! Been driving past this place for weeks and finally decided to stop in. The service was excellent and the suggestions on what to get were even better. I got the crispy chicken sandwich and was definitely not disappointed. The chicken was juicy and there was a perfect amount of breading on it. My boyfriend got their hit burger, the "mulana burger" burger, bacon, gyro meat.... what more could you ask for? Very tasty sandwiches and everything came with fries which was a plus for us. Last night, we decided to come Fahrenheit 786 from all the way from Morton Grove, it's about 35 minutes ride. But honestly it was worth driving here. We were party of 10 and we ordered pretty much all the burgers from menu and all the burgers and sandwiches were awesome, specially Steak Philly and Chicken Philly was the best. My Maulana burger was great. My niece ordered krispy chicken sandwich which is their version of Zinger. It was OK. Anyway, we would definitely come back again to try Pizza and Wings. Me and my sister came here on a whim. I'm so glad we came. We got the Malana burger and it was excellent!! My nephew got chicken tenders and they were super tender. And I don't know what kind of seasoning they put on the fries but it was amazing and it absolutely made the meal. Not only was the food great, but the customer service was exceptional. Everyone who works here is very polite and eager to take your order. The place is very clean and the setting invites you to come in, sit down, and have a nice meal. The food was delicious and had larger than normal amounts. The specialty drinks they have are delicious and refreshing! The wings,fries, and burgers are amazing here!! They make everything fresh so you have to be patient for the delicious food! My favorite flavor is hot for the wings!!
