I've wanted to try this place for a long time. So glad I finally did. My brother and I had a pepperoni pizza and a deluxe, both were good. Especially the pepperoni. Loved the flaky crust and cheese. The wings were awesome, but the zucchini sticks were just ok. Seemed like frozen bagged veggies and not fresh. Service was good. Amy was really nice and efficient as well. The building and the brick is cool, very old and historic. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great pizza at a cool place!

What a fun place to have dinner! After a long day of meetings, I took my team out for pizza and beverages. We were greeted at the door by a gentleman who was so accommodating, offering us his last outdoor table. However, we're a bunch of wimps and said, let's do inside. We ordered the mini cannelloni and garlic cheese bread for apps. I love my St Louis toasted raviolis, but oh my goodness! These mini cannellonis were amazing. Crisply fried, with a perfect ratio of pasta to filling, think overstuffed raviolis. Served with marinara, it was hard to eat just one, and I barely had time to get a pic before they disappeared! The garlic cheese bread was thick and cheesy, full of provel gooeyness. But let's talk St Louis style pizza... I'm an IMO's fan (don't be haters) but this pizza is beyond delicious. The perfect, thin and cracker crisp crust topped with your choice of provel, mozzarella, or a special blend. PizzaBabble is right! The absolute best! Only downside is that it didn't travel well. So crispy and delish at the restaurant, but the leftovers I was taking to my hubby lost that crunch driving home in the box. Going to try to reheat in the oven or air fryer next to recapture that perfection. He's got to experience it for himself. I didn't get a picture, but he loved the Italian sub I brought for him. Did get a pick of one of the groups meatball sub. She really enjoyed it too. Reported that the bread was firm on the outside, but soft in the middle with a good ratio of sauce & cheese to meatball. A new go-to for us when coming to St Louis!

I don't typically like thin crust pizzas but I didn't mind this pizza a bit! The crust was very complex and even has air pockets - don't know how they achieve that with such thin crust. The singer was good. The place was very lively on a Friday night. A bit hard to talk but all good.

Went to dine here on a beautiful Friday afternoon on the patio. This place was completely full. Somehow my wife and I was missed by the waitress and sat patiently for about 35 minutes without putting in a food order. I waved at the owner Joey and he came over and took great care of us. Immediately got us drinks and put in food order to the kitchen. With in minutes, he came out with salads and refills on our drinks. French dip sandwich came out hot and fresh. Shortly after a delicious StL style pizza. After that he stopped by again and apologized and told us lunch was on him. Now I know why this place was so busy and full of happy customers. Great food and great attention by the owner. Cant wait to go back.

The service is impeccable. You will not find a more traditional STL establishment. Family vibes, everyone is so nice, you get checked in on a million times (but it's not annoying). This is a must go if you're in the area. Dimly lit, music playing, feels old school. It's just a vibe. We ordered the toasted rav, buffalo wings, house salad, and a pizza. Everything was super super solid. The toasted rav were hot and fresh. The buffalo wings were super saucy without being soggy BUT one thing to note. This isn't a traditional buffalo wings sauce so if that is what you are wanting this may not be what you want to order. It very much has a Buffalo flavor but has a sweetness to it - just something to keep in mind. The pizza was cooked perfect. Crispy edges. Not soggy or falling apart from the density of the toppings. The salad. If you're not familiar with Mayfair dressing you gotta try it!! So hard to find and they do it well. Everything was great. You won't be disappointed.

I visited here for the first time this week. I must say it was delicious, I've tried Uncle Leo's in the past and I them very much as well. I called my pizza in and I waited around 10 mins after I arrived. It came out pipping hot, my toddler and I enjoyed it. As far as ambiance, it's a bar scene with a few regular tables on the other side for sitting. 10/10

First time here! Oh wow, impressed! Our waitress was awesome, very attentive. Loved all the family and Frank Sinatra pictures. I love pizza & this chicken delight pizza & Margherita are amazing.. Loaded and quality They have been around for 108 years this year, and it shows. We had the cannelloni bites to start, they were very good. The meat was flavorful inside and it wasn't tough on the outside. The red sauce was quality for dipping. We will be back. The family is still working there, generations carry it on! Oh yeah, they had a special going, buy one get one half off so of course that made any decisions for us

More like 4 1/2 stars.....Person seating us was very friendly, waiter the same ...had to wait a bit to place our pizza order, but it was fine, had a few pitchers of beer and two St. Louis style pizzas, okay toppings...karaoke inside, loud, loud trivia outside..kind of annoying, not enough to subtract a star...

A truly local Italian restaurant/bar owned and operated by 4 generations of Failoni's, wow like 107 years! No frills decor, this is a place people regularly hang out with family and friends, eat Brick oven pizza and are served made to order drinks or cold beers by friendly bartend staff or table service. Overall, a 4.0+ experience having only tried fresh made thin crust pizza, house special Green Olives (sold by the pound) and plenty of cold beverages. Expect to pay $10-15pp for pizza, entree or sandwich, and they have plenty of apps, pasta, salads and more plus full bar. Pizza was fresh and flavorful; order your favorite combo and build your own with Provel OR Mozzarella only (for non-St. Louisans) cheese. We ordered Pepperoni & Mushroom, Sausage & Mushroom, and Ham/Green Pepper/Black Olives - all delicious! And the Rosemary Marinated Green Olives were AMAZING if you're an olive fan!! You won't go wrong at Failoni's for food, drinks or takeout. If you haven't been, and like a "local" feel, come by and check 'em out. And they have a nice back patio area for casual outdoor seating. Cheers, ENJOY!!

    Onion rings: crispy and delicious

Our first, but not last visit to Failoni's. We started off with onion rings that were crispy and delicious. We ordered the Joey's Fav. It is hamburger, onions, jalapeños, and tomatoes. . I think it is the only pizza we ever order from here.!!! Our waitress Amy was delightful.

The best stl style pizza in stl. It is simply amazing. Crisp crust, savory sauce with a touch of sweet. Generous toppings and some amazing Italian sausage. Service was outstanding and the dive bar ambiance is exactly what I wanted.

This time, we arrived at 6:30pm on a Friday night and were sat at a table in the main thoroughfare. The ambiance was poor and it was so loud that we needed to shout to be heard. We ordered the caramelized cauliflower appetizer which was drowning in cream sauce and so smothered in cheese that it no longer looked like a vegetable. It was too rich for us. They were considerate to give us plates to split the scampi style shrimp, which was well cooked. However, the grilled beef tenderloin and potatoes were very lackluster. We'd asked for medium rare and the kitchen must have been rushing as it was still raw in the middle. We tried to get the server's attention, but they were very busy and we gave up. A particularly strange and rude interaction from our server when collecting the check left a bad taste in our mouths. I was glad to see their popularity but disappointed at how it decreased the quality of our experience. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant time overall. We started with the toasted ravioli, and it may have been the best I've ever had. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Our party of four was thrilled with every entrée. I ordered a veal dish with a side of pasta, and it was absolutely outstanding. Everyone else ordered pasta dishes, and there was plenty of "oohing" and "ahhing" at the table with every bite. The portions are huge, so we're all looking forward to enjoying the leftovers. Service was friendly from start to finish. Our server was warm and attentive, although things moved a little slower than expected, and it took a while for our entrées to arrive. That said, once the food hit the table, it was clear the wait was worth it. The restaurant has a wonderful history and old-school charm, though the dining room could probably use a little refreshing. We also stopped at the bar before dinner, and unfortunately that was the biggest letdown of the evening. The presentation and flavor of our cocktails were surprisingly disappointing--they looked and tasted more like drinks from a budget hotel bar than from one of The Hill's iconic restaurants. Thankfully, the incredible meal more than made up for the cocktails.
