So the funnel cake was pretty bomb. Our first has been the one at the oc fair because they always seem to nail it with the crunchy and not dry and fresh strawberries and this place has it almost the same if not exactly. The prices are half of what the fair prices are but the funnel cake is also half the size. So if you are craving that funnel cake from the fair on the off season you can just kill your craving by coming here. Really good! read more

I spent $27 in this place and was not happy with two of my items. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake funnel cake for my husband and he was satisfied with it. My item was the churro with a scoop of ice cream and the ice cream I selected was praline and cream which had so much frostbite because there were literally large chunks of ice chips inside. The jumbo chocolate chip cookie was stale because it completely crumbled before my son could eat it. Lastly, the oil used for the funnel cake smelled like it was old grease. The funnel cakes are so good. I had heard about this place and needed to check it out. Great customer service. The funnel cakes are way better than any carnival or fair. They are worth the price and come in a very nice container and it's a decent size to share. I got my daughter the snow cone it's huge well worth the price. Went with my bf, we got the fried oreos and a funnel cake. Both were very delicious! Service was decent, but the only issue is there's no seating. I would have loved to sit there and eat before the ice cream melted by the time we made it home but nevertheless it was very yummy. Tasted just like fair food! read more

The only reason im not giving yall a 1 star is because the times i do come here and i get the fried Oreo's with ice cream. They get my order correct and delicious EVERY TIME. But tonight it seem like they didnt give a damn about my order . Only reason i say that cos they usually ask me every time do you want "vanilla ice cream or cookies n cream ice cream".... Which that shows amazing customer service even if the customer forgot or to not even include the ice cream. The Funnel "Dough" was EXTREMELY Hard/Over-Cooked! It WASN'T worth its Price $13+ each. The dude knew it was "To-Go", why did he put the Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream 'on Top' of the Funnel Cake??? It'll be SOGGY by the time I arrived home?!?!?! This Funnel Cake DOESN'T even Deserve a Star! I Certainly hope they Close down! They AREN'T even staying in Business... For Display ONLY I Presume? Hanging out with the grandkids this place all kinds of junk food you find at the fair giant snow cones and funnel cakes very small inside not a whole lot of room. Definitely coming back to this spot! Amazing & friendly customer service plus yummy desserts. We came in around 8pm on a Thursday night. Plenty of parking and nobody in line. We ordered rocky road ice cream and the pink circus (?) ice cream. We also got two cookies from the super sweet cashiers. Thank you for the impeccable and friendly service! :) read more

Wanted to try something different so I let yelp do my walking Found this place looked cute so we gave it a try. We were greeted by Nick, great personality and made us feel welcomed. My BF has the freshly made waffle cone filled with butter pecan and rocky road which we happily found out they use Thrifty brand ice cream. I got the funnel cake with vanilla and Carmel sauce. If you're looking for something extra sweet, this is the place! They have great shakes, very rich in flavor though so come with a sweet tooth! I got the Apple pie funnel cake and definitely could not finish it, was HUGE! So you can definitely split it with someone. Very small place next to a barber shop and you usually wait outside for them to bring you your order. The funnel cake was very crispy and there were lots of toppings, ice cream too. Will come back to try different flavors. They have just about everything: funnel cake, shakes, smoothies, cookies, ice cream. You will find something here that you like no matter what! read more

I did it! I finally got a chance to check this joint out. I rarely eat desserts but when I crave something in my area it is really limited. Found this on yelp and all I've thought about since I got here a couple of weeks ago was, I want funnel cake! Last day here and I got a chance to try it and it was great! Fluffy with that nice crispy crunch, strawberries, Whip cream, strawberry syrup and vanilla Ice cream. Hot meets cold is always a wonderful combination when it comes to desserts. The most unprofessional pair of workers I have come across in a ice cream parlor. First, we called to see if they were open because it's Labor Day right? They said they're open until 3:30 am, so we stop by and got there in 15 minutes and we're standing in there with our daughter and they haven't said a word to a us. A lady walks in and places her order and they take it immediately and have a nice chat with her. Then my boyfriend tried to place our order and the guy (did not get his name) was talking about he could serve us and we should've came in earlier. Then tells us to GO OUTSIDE???? We ended up leaving. These 3 men were just goofy and didn't want to do their job.. in general and professionally. The food would have probably been sloppy as well. This place is amazing! The funnel cakes are better than the ones at the fair, and the best part, it's open all year round. And there are so many toppings you can get on your funnel cake, including ice cream. Nate is the cherry on top! His customer service makes you feel like this place is a true small business of the neighborhood that you want to see succeed. He makes you feel like you're walking into a neighbor's home and he welcomes you with tips on what to order and he'll make you laugh too. Came today because I saw this place on Yelp! during the week and I knew I HAD to come, it's a sweet tooth's paradise. When we arrived it was a little smaller than I thought and was located in not such a great part of town, lots of homeless people hanging out on the other side of the shop. That didn't stop us though since I was determined to get my dessert. We ordered a Strawberry Delight funnel cake, Strawberry Banana Smoothie and a Cherry Shaved Ice with condensed milk & vanilla ice cream. SMOOTHIE: My boyfriend wasn't too pleased with his smoothie, it was basically 90% apple juice and 10% "smoothie" which he said tasted like a powdered mix. SHAVED ICE W/ ICE CREAM & CONDENSED MILK: I ordered a small which was still big enough for 2 to share, definitely not complaining about the size! Now the taste was a bit of a different story... The condensed milk wasn't a wonderful choice and the vanilla ice cream had a funny taste... I assume the brands they chose maybe weren't the best. FUNNEL CAKE: So now to the reason why we are still giving a 3. Our funnel cake was WELL WORTH the 6.50 it was crispy and delicious, not over or under cooked. The size was perfect for the both of us to share and we LOVED the flavor. We've both agreed that we will only be coming back for the funnel cakes, also warning to anyone who comes to enjoy one of these treats! There are NO tables and only 4 barstool like chairs so plan to take your food to go!! read more

So much to choose from and everything was delicious! Churros and ice cream was on point. Apple pie and strawberry delight funnel cakes were to die for! Small shaved ice is huge! Get a couple things and share them so you can try more stuff! Only bad thing is there aren't any tables so, you will have to enjoy your treats on the trunk of your car which was fine with us! read more

It wasnt a good start... Ice cream wasnt ready, okay maybe thats a sign from god. We oredered 3 Funnels Cakes, Strawberry Delight, Banana Cream, & Apple Crisp. It was a bit of a wait (about 1 hour) batter had to be made fresh we were the only ones there. After about waiting 45 mins I got 2 funnel cakes and after 55 mins I decided to ask for a refund for the apple crisp. The owner apologize for the wait refunded my money back but still handed me the apple crisp funnel cake. We ate our funnel cakes and all of them were amazing! If I could give a 0 star I would. The costumer service here was so rude. We got here at 8:360m for them to tell us they were closed. I told them your sign and yelp says open till 9pm and your "open" sign is still on and the guys said well I said we are closed. I said I drove down here and it's not even 9pm yet and the girl didn't care and just said goodbye. People should learn so respect and manners. I work in customer service and customer service is what makes people come back. The time of the photo is because I sat in the parking writing this but the sign still says open along with Yelp still says it as well. read more

Husband came across this place by chance. I'm so glad he found it! I ordered the cherry cheesecake funnel cake. He had the strawberry delight funnel cake (I think). Very generous serving size and can easily be shared between 2 (maybe even 3) people. I think it was the owner working. She was very pleasant and welcoming. Definitely recommend! read more

Prices are reasonable fair charges up to $10+ for a funnel cake And these are only 7 and totally customizable . U can add whatever toppings you would like ( not sure if that's extra charge ) . The shaved ice is delicious , the syrups aren't all "syrupy" / "thick" or too sweet if you know what I mean .. they are perfect . **** I DO SUGGEST ONE THING THOUGH .. I tried the Nutella almond coating and they were pretty generous with the flavoring, I left very satisfied with the churro itself. It was made fresh to order. The ambiance is pretty cute, they put in effort to make the area feel safe, especially since sometimes the place they post out is in a dark alley behind a warehouse in the middle of nowhere. The service is good and friendly, I read many reviews saying otherwise so perhaps this isn't true all the time, but it was the one time we went. The eh: The wait time complaints did ring true to me, we got there at 9 pm and there was no line in front of us, it still took them about 15 minutes to get us our mini churro and ice cream. However, it's a food truck, this kind of wait time is expected and I did get a fresh and hot churro so it wasn't for nothing. If you want something fast, you probably shouldn't go to a food truck. The prices also leave something to be desired, $10 for a small ice cream and a 5 inch churro is pretty high. Again, however, I allow that because it's a food truck prices will be higher. I can't find any place near this area that does better churros, so I'm willing to pay the extra once in a while for a better experience. It was in a parking lot in a dead business center with fences, the entrance to the parking lot was a narrow alley 2 minutes away from the truck itself. The only reason I was able and willing to find that entrance was because the truck (probably knowing it's hard to find) was posted very visibly against a fence with welcoming fairy lights, so I took a little extra time looking for the entrance. I hope they can find a better location to post up at. In the end, I may come back only because they do make good churros, but I think it's more because they lack good competition than anything else. Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough for an alternative.

I was told they keep it in a separate dough hopper to avoid cross contamination, which is great, but it also means they won't make just one or two. It's a half dozen minimum, and it takes about 20 minutes since they're made fresh and separately from the regular batch. Once mine came out, they were warm and satisfying, not quite as fluffy as the regular donuts, but still a solid treat. Most of the coatings and toppings are vegan too, just skip anything with Nutella or a dairy based coating, so you've still got plenty of options to customize. A couple of flavors I went with were cinnamon sugar and a maple glaze with walnuts and enjoyed both. On a less positive note, they have a claw machine game near the entrance that took my money and never actually worked properly. I tried to find someone on site to help, but no one seemed to be able to do anything about it, and I've had a hard time getting a hold of anyone since to get it resolved. If you're going to have one of these machines in your store, someone should be able to actually help when it eats a customer's money. Staff at the counter were friendly and made sure to double check which toppings were vegan. Just know before you go, call ahead to confirm the location carries vegan batter that day, and be ready to commit to a six donut minimum and a short wait. 4 out of 5. Donuts were good, but the claw machine situation knocked off a star.

The only thing that kept me from giving one star is the fact that the guys was super nice when we walked in. We went in for my son, because he is celebrating his 18th birthday and really wanted to try this place....the funnel cakes are really greasy and the oil tastes old, I ordered an ice cream sandwich and the cookies were so stale and burnt!! Everything was extremely disappointing and unfortunately, we will definitely not be returning, unless they do a deep cleaning and put more care into the quality of their items. I get that it is fair food...it's supposed to be greasy and unhealthy and delicious...but this lacked the delicious part. Prove me wrong, please guys. I'm really rooting for you!!! read more

I was excited to get a funnel cake to surprise my kid. He really liked it, I thought it was okay. The texture was a bit more dense than I'd prefer and it wasn't super flavorful, but I liked it enough. The wait wasn't too bad, about 10 minutes with 3 people in front of me. A word of caution: The place is small and it feels like walking into a grease pit. I had to change my clothes when I got home and wash my face to get the smell off of me...and it still lingers. I completely understand that food can sometimes take longer, but a more accurate estimate would have been appreciated so we could have made that decision beforehand. I wasn't sure what to order and the server was very friendly and helped me make my selections by giving me info on the flavor profiles of the custards I was interested in. I ended up choosing Black Forest (the first flavor that they created) and Honey Creme Brûlée, both of which are gluten free. BF was delicious! There were chunks of Belgian chocolate chips and organic Morello cherry throughout the chocolate custard that added nice texture to the ultra rich and creamy custard. I think the sweet cream layer was decorative as it wasn't very flavorful on its own and wasn't noticeable when mixed into the rest of the custard. I was a little disappointed to notice that some of the topmost outer layers had freezer burn. It wasn't the entire pint, but it was a quality issue that I wasn't expecting from a well crafted dessert. Aside from that, it was tasty and I still enjoyed it. HCB was actually my favorite of the two. The custard is flavored with local unfiltered honey which gave it a pleasant warm sweet taste that was complemented by the ribbons of brûléed sugar. Overall both custards were ultra creamy, decadent, well balanced desserts, with outstanding texture, and quality of the ingredients is apparent in each bite. The downside? Pints are pricey....$20 a pint. But as I mentioned they are decadent (and have quality ingredients) and so the pints are not really meant to be finished in one sitting. It's a nice treat to have in the freezer and have a few spoonfuls of or share with a friend. Definitely a great treat if you love frozen dessert and appreciate quality ingredients.

It was a generous size sandwich and I enjoyed it but I think they put just a bit too much mayo. It also comes with jalapenos which I simply removed. It was my fault for not asking what comes in it. It was still tasty and hit the spot. I ordered an ube and glazed mochi donut with 2 mini chocolate cake donuts. I love that they offer mini donuts, I've never seen that. The gentleman also added a couple of donut holes which I thought was a nice touch and I appreciate it! The mochi donut was perfectly soft and chewy...definitely will be back!
