It's been a little bit over a month since Dr. Albright came to our home and helped us put our Shorty to sleep. I know she does this all the time, but she showed nothing but empathy for what we were going through. The whole process took 15-20 minutes tops. She never rushed us and always spoke in a soothing tone. She helped Shorty get comfortable and explained everything she was doing. When it was done, she took the utmost care of Shorty and wrapped him up tight in one of his blankets (like swaddling a baby). I realized in my grief, I didn't ask her anything about the cremation, but by the time I contacted her a couple of days afterwards, she had everything squared away and we received his ashes and urn 1-1/2 weeks later on Christmas eve. We've done euthanasia for our dogs at the vet's office and at home. The cost is more than what it would be at the vet's office, but for our family, we prefer that our dogs are in their home, surrounded by family. If you're looking at reviews for at-home euthanasia, I'm sorry for what you're going through. Even as I write this review, I have tears recalling saying our goodbyes to our boy. Horrible experience with Faith Albright DVM. I would give negative stars. Long story short, we had an appointment with her on February 12th, 2026 at 8 PM for home euthanasia of our beloved 15 year old dog. She never showed for the appointment. No call, no text, nothing. Our calls and texts to her went unanswered. The next morning, she texted my husband and apologized for "dropping the ball". This is not something you drop the ball on. This was our family member. So i know if you're reading this, the situation you are in sucks and is hard, but stay strong. My dog of almost 14 years passed 2 days before Christmas and finding someone to come over was the most difficult, stressful, frustrating and hurtful part of going through with the process. I'm big on energy and I wouldn't want just anyone to enter my home, and my dog was always a lot more at ease with females. After all of the frustration to find someone or get a response, I kind of just stopped looking and shed a few tears and prayed that the right person would come along. The trippiest thing happened, I got a text response from Dr Albright. Dr Albright had a nice soothing, comforting energy to her that helped a lot. Her kind words and explanation of what was happening put us at ease and able to feel peace during the process. We were able to spend time with my boy with privacy and a good amount of unrushed time. She was able to come the same day which was a crazy feeling knowing that it was going to happen so quick but it was the best to happen because I only wanted for my boy to have great quality of life and to feel as little pain as possible his entire time on earth with me. I recommend Dr Albrights services and want to thank her for helping the transition go smoothly, painless and peacefully for my dog. Dr.Albright assisted my loving siamese Coco in moving on to the next realm. The experience was as smooth as something like this can be. We first booked appointment by calling her number which she answered herself on first call. My baby was in a lot of pain and Dr. Albright was able to perform procedure same day in our home. She arrived on time, administered a sedative via a painless injection. When Coco was peacefully asleep she started an IV and gave the final injection. Our baby moved into the next world or her next reincarnation without pain thankful to Dr.Albright. The entire process took 30 minutes and we were given as long as we needed to say our "Good byes" and "See you soon". She was empathetic, assertive, competent, kind and genuine. She made Coco feel at ease and kept us engaged without being overly intrusive but asking all the right questions and providing support. She swaddled our Coco in a baby blanket and took her to be cremated. The fee was very reasonable for a home euthanizing and private cremation service. Bandit--the doggie love of my life-- had declined rapidly and I found Dr. Albright. She was very responsive and we scheduled a same day appointment for Bandit to cross .
