I love the idea of sitting down wherever you want in the restaurant. Server immediately comes over and asks you what you would like to drink. The service is fast, and attentive. My food came out, snappy with great flavor and great portion sizes as well. I ordered the street taco plate with Al Pastor meat. They give you a green sauce on the side that peas perfectly with the beef. Indoors is filled with a bar area to sit down, booths, standalone tables with chairs. I went through the drive-through during lunchtime here, and thankfully the wait wasn't long, which I was concerned about as I read other reviews that complained about it. I had their #49 chicken taco lunch special, which was two chicken tacos with rice and a mountain of sour cream on the side. They asked me what kind of beans I wanted, and I said black beans, but there were no beans when I opened my box. I guess they forgot. The two tacos did not look sizeable, but I was satisfied with my meal for $9.73. This is Tex Mex fast food, and it wasn't that impressive, but it was fine. I am sad they forgot about the beans though. read more

Most of the time, food delivery is just okay at best. Last night the winner for delivery of a stellar plate is Fajita Kings. Had a combo plate of juicy chicken and succulent beef. Those tomatoes tasted home garden fresh. The green salsa was in friggen FIRE!! My tongue was smoking until about three am. Peppers and onions were so fresh and bursting with taste. The guac was cool and soothing to my seared tongue. Fajita Kings, whatever you did last night please please please keep doing it. I'm sitting at work right now sorry I didn't bring a bit that I left my husband with me. I'm drooling just thinking about it!!! Dang I ordered again. I have been here for pick-up and to dine-in and have always been impressed with the courteous staff, and the delicious food. I have had the fajitas and the al pastor burrito and highly recommend both, but not at the same time since that would be a lot of food. The restaurant is a bit loud at times, but not too bad to have a conversation with the people you are with, just people enjoying the food and the terrific drinks they make. They are accepting of everybody which is great, no prejudice here, just great food and good times. Some people will hate this place for being inclusive and will taint the review to give the place a bad rating, but it is a delight to go and eat here. Service was great, food however, was mid. I ordered the hard shell tacos for my daughter, and modified our order by requesting corn tortillas instead of flour. I'm convinced they did not fry up their own tortilla shells as the taco shells they brought were similar to store bought shells. When I think of temple values I think back the blue , this restaurant hires their own private police , I think of good food I ate there once it's was very expensive, not very good food and bad service . I like to find a good restaurant after church and the security guard is besmirching church on social media. I do not recommend this place because terrible food, bad service, they obviously do not support temple policemen, they are hostile to temple church members. If I could give half a star I would do not eat here ever! I ordered a queso burrito with rice and beans and it ended up having a side of someone's black hair. Yes the burrito had hair on it. The food comes in large portions, but it's a little pricey for lunch and lacks the spice and flavor and kick you'd expect from good Mexican or Tex-Mex. Take away? Funny story (It's really not but it makes for a decent opener). The more than I significant other and I were arguing over who cheated on our mutual diet pact, a betrayal if you will and then saw that they serve a salsa called the betrayal which we were able to re-bond over. It's good salsa btw, taste wise as well as bringing people together. From the outside this place looks like it should be a chain. It's nice and spacious inside, boasting a bar, community coffee, mochas and of course fajitas. The impressive menu featured quite a variety of stuff including all day breakfast, which more places need to do. We ordered fajitas of course this being our first time. They were good. Chicken, beef both represented the food genre with grace and flavor. Our server was nice and took care of us despite clearly having a bad day. I hope it got better after we left ... usually people's days get better after I leave I'm told, I am so good :D Side note, this was a short detour from the freeway on our way back to DFW from hill country. It's very much worth the short drive for a decent sit-down meal. We go to Austin quite a bit and would be happy to visit again on our way there or back. read more

The variety flavors available at Fajita Kings lured us to return. We knew we'd be back to try other items on their menu. We've enjoyed every bit of it! Amazing flavors! Two visits and eleven menu delicacies. No I didn't eat them all alone :P There are breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections. Desserts are options too! Who's 'a dessert first person' ? Last week, I would have left four stars. However, I ate there again this week, ordered the same exact thing, and I felt like I was at a different restaurant. Chicken Enchiladas. The first time, they were served with shredded,marinated chicken with lots of sauce. The second time, I had to use a steak knife to cut the very dry strips of chicken, and the enchiladas had very little sauce. Fajitas were served with two dry tortillas. Consistency is key when it comes to customer satisfaction. Nobody wants to guess at what they might be served. read more

Service is horrible! They are super slow took 10 mins before anyway came and got our drink order. Then took 15 mins before anyone came to take our food order. It was a hassle to call the restaurant about the missing beans and taco and have to drive back up there for them. Even after driving back up, I had to wait in the drive thru line for 20 mins. my plate came with NO pasta, mixed the food around to see if the pasta was under the veggies and chicken but nothing. called in to see if they just added extra chicken bc they didn't have pasta but the lady in the back was claiming that they did add "a little" and told me the only 2 options was to come in for them to remake it, or get a refund through DoorDash, i dont have a way to go in right now that is why i got a food delivery service but they still insisted on both options, just disappointing bc i always order this and never had a problem until now, hopefully they'll be more aware of the food they make so this never happens again read more

I AM SO SAD TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW. Their commitment to the LGBTQ+ community made me want to love it here so bad. I've been anticipating coming here for months after seeing the backlash from their drag event. BUT nonetheless this food is garbage. I ordered fajitas (bc fajita kings duh) The rice had to of been white instant rice, no seasoning, no color, no flavor. The refried beans were hard and cold. The beef had to of been the most inexpensive cut they could find, and also days old. The fajitas were not served with sour cream, or cheese, or real guac. Peppers and onions, not cooked through. Luckily we have dogs and could box up this $30 meal to go for them. Also, and most important, I let the makeshift bartender know that I was allergic to sweet and sour mix THREE F-ING TIMES and he proceeded to give me a large margarita full of sweet and sour. This is the 2nd time we came here and it didn't disappoint! We had family in town and had to bring them to this unique spot. It's very fun and vibrant on the inside playing great music! The menu has a variety of food, which is great for those with picky eaters. To start we had chips and salsa with a side of queso which was great, I had the fajitas and boyfriend had the chimichanga both were very satisfying! To end we had dessert..we got the chocolate flan, sopapillas, vanilla tees leches, and dirty horchata all fantastic! Our waitress and the cooks were quick to serve and made sure we had a good experience! Would recommend for all ages! read more
