Love this place every time I come. Food is always so yummy whether you're eating in or taking out.

First time to stop here ordered a crispy taco and enchilada. The bottom of the taco fell apart as soon as I picked it up. The enchilada was covered in cheese.....too much cheese. The taco shell even appeared stale. Ordered an additional 2 crispy tacos that actually held together. Not really impressed with service at the drive thru window or the overall taste. Will be going somewhere else for my Mexican food fix. read more

Honestly the menu is just too confusing. I figured a place named fajita king would have a fajita taco plate but they don't. I ended up ordering everything all-a-cart which was very expensive. I just wanted 2 fajita tacos with rice. Need to work on the menu. Deserts look good but way way to high. read more

The beef cactus fajitas and chicken poblano fajitas were excellent. Really fresh, meat was tender. Chips and queso were descent. Will opt for the meat, pico and quac in the queso next time. I was disappointed after coming here. The food was priced reasonable and the atmosphere was nice but the food and service were not good. Due to the name we tried the fajitas and they were super tough! The meat was defiantly cut the wrong way. Just took my wife here for the first time. Very clean restaurant. We were seated right away. Food arrived faster than I expected and everything tasted great! Lorena was our waitress and did an OUTSTANDING job serving us with a bright smile and everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I look forward to eating here again. This is my first visit to this establishment after reading about it. The place is located in a great area, I really enjoyed my menu selection. However, as I do When I go to a first time location,I look for all entrance and exits and restrooms locations(ex military). I must admit I didn't get the young lady name that took my order she was on point and made me feel cool comfortable. My observation was the exhaust fans in my immediate area had great a amount dust visible right next to my table. Just a suggestion to management please pay attention to the exhaust fans. NEVER ordering from here again, I ordered UBEREATS today (a hamburger that smelled like POOP and tasted like POOP/ Fries that smelled like POOP and wings were cheap disgusting blubbery non bone stuff u would buy at heb. Quality was not there. The fries were so soggy. Either their frier is messed up or they're using old grease.. they're not even supposed to soak in like that. My brother worked for corporate McDonald's and he mentioned it. Even the queso bowl was disgusting. These guys are cutting corners. Definitely cross contaminating or dirty kitchen. Tori the manager talked me down just down played the situation because the reason I called was because the food made me sick..she needs to train her cooks pronto. this was the only food I had today. Do not go here beware.. I am sick right now. Order was placed at 11 am. It is now 530 pm same day. May take legal action If I get worse. Yuck. Their tacos are bomb AF!!!! I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the street tacos and one ground beef crispy taco. The food was prepared fresh and it was hot!!! It was total deliciousness!!! They have a variety of salsa's unlike most Mexican restaurants in the area. Most restaurants are only serving that tired green and red salsa. This place has 6 varieties and some of them are actually hot!!!! The ground beef taco was melt in my mouth realness. A++++++ love this place. I will definitely be coming back. read more

If you don't mind waiting 15 minutes after the meat arrived for the tortillas to come, then this is the place for you. If you like reminding the staff two or three times to bring the rest of your food to you, then this is the place for you!! If you like poor service, then this is definitely the place for you!! 1st time we went there it was mediocre so thought we would give them another chance. 2nd time was worse. One of the plates came out cold they blamed it on the lettuce inside. Not sure how lettuce would make the Queso on the outside congealed. One of us ordered fajitas but waited 10 minutes for the tortillas to arrive before could begin eating unless you want to eat fajitas without tortillas. 3rd plate was wrong plate ordered so had to wait for them to remake it. I took a close friend out for an early dinner on Sunday May 15th, 2022. The moment we opened the door it was very noisy with several tvs on and music blasting. All we saw were young kids working in there and no sign of a mgr. or owner. There were only 5 tables occupied and 2 waiting tables so thought the service would be good. Wrong! We finally got chips and the tiniest bowl of what should be salsa but looked like tomato sauce. I wouldn't even try it and the basket for the chips had very few in it. When this was brought to the table, our drink order was not taken nor were menus provided. We tried talking but couldn't hear ourselves over all the noise. No one was paying any attention to the customers. I finally asked for menus and told my drink as he stopped by. With the exception of the meal, everything we needed such as napkins, the bill, more chips, etc. I had to get myself from the bar where everyone was standing around. We tried flagging down and shouting but they just looked past us out the window. Food was just ok and not worth the prices...no special taste. Queso came in a tall square bowl so was hard to dip chips in without getting all over your hands. I went up to the bar to get my ticket and pay. 2 stood there for awhile before the female ran my credit card. They needed adult supervision and not a place I would take a friend to for a fun occasion. The high price of dessert and slow to no service made us run into HEB and get something from the bakery to take home at 1/3 the price. I don't see them lasting long. read more

This is my new go-to place for margs and breakfast tacos. The tacos rival Austin and the margs are perfect every time! The Late Night Snack nachos are a favorite for me. I also like that the food is a little lighter more like Latin American foods rather than only being Mexican inspired. read more

I have been craving fajitas for a few days, and upon returning from errands with the family we decided to stop by for our first visit. It was underwhelming. Place started off awesome and was our weekly (sometimes twice weekly) go-to spot for tacos. Went there on a Friday in the drive thru (2 simple street taco plates no customization, same meat) and come Monday morning the bank cleared a higher amount than what I paid. Turns out one of the employees took it upon themselves to add a tip without my authorization. Long story short the manager / owner dismissed it and was very condescending about his response. I told him technically I could contact the local police department and he should be grateful I did not submit a complaint and he actually had the nerve to tell me to go ahead. He even went as far as to make a bogus claim that the tip was for another customer and even sent a picture of another customer's receipt along with mine. There's no way that this would have been possible. On a side note the last meal the food quality wasn't that great which I only brought up because of the stolen tip. The owner wanted me to dig in the trash and bring back the food to him that we threw away as if he didn't believe me. Most reputable businesses will not second-guess the customer and either refund the money or offer a replacement without telling them to bring food back. They should work on retaining repeat customers instead of handling the situation this way. Haven't been back since and won't return. read more

We have been a weekly Fajita Kings takeout customer for over a year. Over the last several months they have missed items on our order and we have not complained. Today we picked up our order through the drive-thru and noticed that they forgot to include the charro beans so we had to go back into the restaurant to get the beans. We did not check the contents of the to go containers assuming they were correct. Drove home and noticed one of the orders was a chicken sandwich instead of a Royal Quesadilla. Had to drive back to get the right order and when I picked up the correct food they didn't offer any type of discount or anything to compensate for their mistake. Apparently my mistake was believing that they care about their customers and doing what is right. I will never go back to this restaurant and you shouldn't either. read more

I have ordered the street taco plate twice. Half fajita beef and half shrimp. The food was cooked fresh and was still steaming hot when I get home. The meats were tender and perfectly spiced. I was really excited to try this place because fajitas are one of my favorite foods. I order the beef,chicken mix. The fajitas were tender and flavorful. The rice on the other hand is basically white rice with some carrots and peas mixed in and that's their recipe. The black beans were just that. Beans simmered in water. The meal came with two small flour tortillas which was fine for the amount of meat you receive. Now if you like peppers and onions the tray is over flowing with them. read more

The fajita (beef chicken) is my go to , the street tacos my wife's . The food never disappoints (well seasoned and cooked right) and the salsa bar is lit ! We stop here a few times a month on our drives to San Antonio, my friend recommended we check it out . Glad he was right ! The menu also has a Caribbean feel too it based on some of the item selections, I may try some of it out in the future. I would give them a 5 star review but it seems they recently backtracked on their horchata ( me and the wife are big horchata aficionados) a few months back it tasted amazing, reminded us of the taqueria horchatas back in Oceanside CA, full of flavor and rich rice n cinnamon texture/taste. Recently though it mimics every other Mexican restaurants horchata in the area , canned milk texture and lots of vanilla no rice cinnamon flavor :( Other than that we will be coming back for the food on our next trip since they haven't backtracked on that department, fingers crossed . read more

i live in temple my family and i went to fajita kings for our cinco de mayo dinner and we were very disappointed with our food!!!!!! how do you serve customers with already tored up tortillas and only serve black beans not eveyone likes them ,and the rice very grose it had no color to it and was very bland it looked like white people country rice!!!!!!!! nothing tex-mex about fajita kings and the sweet tea was whack!!!!! the queso dip with the chips was way to thick and dried up really fast!!! if fajita kings needs good rice then maybe you should just hire me to the rescue my name is anita ortiz!!!! and then you charge me $70 for a sucky meal and then i also gace them tips wtf!!!! smfh i will never do it again read more
