I recently got insurance thanks to Obama Care after loosing my insurance and becoming disabled in a accident in 2007, which almost resulted in the amputation of my legs. I set up appointment with Dr. Christopher Toupin, M.D. at the above facility. My paper work was processed quickly by his staff. I got in at the time my appointment was scheduled, His staff did the preliminary work, ie Temperature, Blood pressure, and oodles of questions. Dr. Christopher Toupin, came in and went over the questions and got into in depth explanations of each. He is professional, personable, polite and even has a sense of humor. OMG,! He's Human. I woke up early today with terrible chest pains and I was short of breath, so I have spent the last…read more6 hours in the Rancho Springs Emergency Room. I was having a lot more symptoms like being dizzy, blurred vision, slurring my speech and a few other things. In triage my BP was very high in the 190s and over another high number I believe in the 130s. My heart rate was extremely high too, so the triage nurse who was just the sweetest lady called out a stroke emergency. 2 amazing doctors and at least 5 nurses surrounded me on the gurney like a Nascar pit crew. They immediately put in an IV, injected me medication and took my blood several times; as well as an EKG. I was given 3 different MRI's and chest X-rays almost as soon as I came in. Everyone was so kind in MRI room. The lady who operated the MRI machine even prayed with me twice. I'd like to add that we had first gone to Inland Valley Hospital and they were horrible to us this morning. I told them I was have chest pains and stroke like symptoms. They did not even pull me up for triage hearing that and I had to wait at least 5 minutes. They did not call a stroke code and just pushed me back into some weird ER patient only waiting room for a little over an hour. There were at minimum 20 patients in weird little room complaining they'd been waiting over 3 hours after also being triage and saying there were only 2-3 nurses on duty. That's when I decided speak up and be my own advocate. I just got up and exited; telling the triage nurse on my way out that I was going to another hospital. Thank God that I did! Last thing I have to add is that my doctors are extremely competent and seen well educated on cardiac and stroke events, but they have the best bedside manner! They were so great at Rancho Springs that 1 of my doctors walked my husband over to get a coffee! Now that's great service!

I neither know what "acenesthisia" is, not "Aphidiasis", which doesn't even sound like akathisia.

After telling the staff of the establishment we are denying any cervical check. This is the first time meeting this doctor Dr Pearson obgyn. My partner and I both say no to the exam. She was very uncomfortable He proceeds to fear monger us into saying yes. He went to take my partners measurements and didn't even wait for her to pull her pants down and "helped" pull her underwear. We had to say yes just to get him out of the room. He said "I can tell a lot from a cervical exam that we didn't want including if the umbilical cord is wrapped around the baby's neck even though we just went to the hospital one week prior. Upon calling after the fact the office manager Erica was extreme rude and dismissive to our claims against Dr Pearson and invalidated my opinion until she "heard it from the patient". If you have a partner or daughter pregnant DO NOT go here for your prenatal care. Both ultrasounds were scheduled incorrectly and as the father I was forced to sit out of the first one. And the second clinic they schedule through called 3 days before our appointment to cancel. I spent 150 out of pocket for a safe relaxing ultrasound experience I know it's not the clinic directly however for this many issues this should be addressed. Dr Pearson needs to retire and not practice anymore. We were so uncomfortable that we told the office we would not return. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD AND PARTNER. Thank you ladies in the front office. The medical assistants are classy, helpful and kind. But most of all there's a treasure there named Ryan Rowan PA-C. I've known and been a patient of his for almost two years and there's no one in the world as caring or capable as this PA. He's the best Dr. I've ever had. He's thorough, smart, educated on all topics of illnesses. He cares about you. He makes you feel special and he spends as much time as you need with him. He doesn't run in and out in a hurry at my expense or other patients expense. This place deserves 6 stars Thank you Ryan and I feel blessed for knowing and having you for my Dr. God bless you and I wouldn't want any other Dr in a million years! Best care possible! Jun 11 - i came in for my concerns and annual wellness check/blood draw. went to check out, i asked the receptionist lady if there was a copay and she said no. Jun 18 - follow up to review my test results, one test was missing so they drew my blood again. Went to check out and i asked the guy receptionist if i had a copay he said no. It didn't seem right so I double checked with him and the lady next to him said i do have a $30 copay (so i paid). After a week i called to check on my results cuz i didn't see anything posted on my online account and i was informed my doctor was out and that a doctor needed to review my results with me. They tried to schedule me in office but i asked if it can be a call cuz i didn't want to drive down again. June 27 - got the call from the doctor to review my results (still didn't get why i couldn't just get a copy of my results online, my old Sharp doctor would usually just have the results on my app.) About two weeks later (July 7) i receive a bill for $50(or so) so i called them and they advised that my insurance didn't cover my initial appointment and told me i'd have to reach out to my insurance in regards to my confusion so i did. it looks like the insurance and medical office settled something because the app showed i only owed $30 after a few weeks (July 28) so i paid for it. Aug. 8 i see another bill for 2 different dates for a total of $60 so i called again and the lady on the phone said it was for my first appointment (which i recently just paid for) and my video call (video call that shouldn't have even happened if they didn't mess up on one of my test results). They're literally charging me for everything even if it's a mistake on their end.

That alone made me feel cared for. I especially want to thank the nurse who received me this morning. I don't remember her name, but I will never forget her kindness. With her sense of humor and warmth, she eased my anxiety within minutes. In such a vulnerable moment, that kind of humanity makes all the difference. The medical team was professional, organized, and confident. Even in a highly technical environment filled with equipment, everything felt coordinated and reassuring. I felt safe the entire time. My procedure turned out better than expected, and I went home feeling peaceful and deeply grateful at 10:30 am Thank you for not only doing your job, but for doing it with empathy and heart. During my visit, I experienced excessive wait times, poor communication, lack of follow-up, staff behavior. What was most concerning was lack of communication. I understand that hospitals can be busy and that healthcare professionals work under significant pressure. However, patients and families deserve clear communication, respect, and timely care. In my case, I had to wait 3 days for an MRI after that their wasn't a care plan to follow up. I had to advocate for myself for proper treatment. I am sharing this feedback not simply to complain, but in the hope that management will review these concerns and take steps to improve the patient experience.
