Ordered flowers for my wife for our anniversary. I opted to get the "premium" arrangement (almost $200) instead of the standard arrangement. Flowers were delivered on time but they were already wilting and seemed to be old. 2 days later most of the arrangement was starting to die. I was so upset with the quality of the flowers my wife received I called another florist the next day and got her another arrangement which are beautiful and fresh. I sent an email to let them know how awful the flowers Fallons sent us were and Alexandra called me to offer me a new arrangement or a credit for a future order. I declined both offers as I will not do business with this florist any more. Ditto on what all the others said. I recently had to choose flowers to be sent to my grandfather's funeral which is absolutely no fun. It's not like choosing flowers for a friend's birthday. It was very difficult as I perused through their website so I just picked up the phone and had to just tell someone what I was going through. The staff who answered the phone was very helpful. She was sympathetic and offered suggestions for a large Peace Lily instead so my grandmother could take it home with her. She even helped me come up with what the card needed to say as I was stumbling over my words. The peace lily was delivered before the service, and it was gorgeous! I ordered flowers at the last minute on Thursday for delivery to my mom Friday. Friday morning I realized my mom was out of town until Wednesday. I called around 10 am ET Friday morning to change the delivery date but it was already out on the truck for delivery and they were unable to call it back. Flowers were supposed to be delivered to my place of work on 2/13. I was unexpectedly out of the office. Fallon's delivery man called to tell me he was dropping the flowers off, and when I told him I wasn't in the office he said he would keep the flowers and deliver to me the next day. The next day happened to be Valentine's Day. I know that Valentine's Day is a very busy day for any florist and the fact that he took time out of his day to make sure I got my flowers means so much. My mother passed away a couple weeks back and we had her memorial yesterday...we originally ordered from a large online flower vendor and they seriously screwed up our order,and we were informed a mere 1.5 hours before the service that they could not deliver the cremation wreath to go around my mother's urn...we did an internet search and found Fallon's listing...they were kind and understanding, and wanted to help. They took our order and told us to come by the shop. Their designer took literally 15 minutes to arrange a beautiful flower arrangement for the memorial. I bought flowers for my girlfriends birthday. Called in the day before her birthday and placed my order at 2pm (2 pm is cut off for same day). I asked what time they would come the next day, and the girl told me before noon. 70 bucks for a dozen roses and card, sounded like a deal. Roses didn't show up at her work until 3:45, my girlfriend left at 4. She loved them but I was very annoyed that she barely got the flowers on her birthday when I ordered them bacially at the same day delivery cut off the day before. Inconsistent message with the three people I talked to trying to figure out why they weren't there on lunch. TERRIBLE quality. I placed an order online early that morning around 8 AM. The flowers were not delivered until 5PM. I was never presented with an option to select say a delivery for noon. None of the flowers were blooming. All I got was a vase with green stems. The flowers should have been purple but I guess they don't believe in first impression. I had such a positive experience here, thanks in large part to Kathy. As law students, my friend and I were looking to send a flower arrangement to one of our coaches for an advocacy competition. We were definitely operating on a budget but still wanted to have flowers delivered that were beautiful (and not chintzy!). I had heard good things about Fallons, and since we were delivering to downtown Raleigh, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to try them out. We went in on a Monday morning around 9:00 AM, hoping for a mid-to-late afternoon delivery. Kathy was so sweet, asking us our budget and then taking us into their cooler room to show us what they had available in that range. We didn't see anything that really caught our eye, but both of us did see one arrangement with premium flowers that looked perfect for our recipient. When we asked Kathy how much that particular arrangement was, she mentioned it was just a little out of range, but was willing to sell it to us anyway. It was just very thoughtful to know that Fallons is customer driven and they are flexible in making sure you leave with a smile on your face! I asked for a delivery confirmation to be sent via E-mail, which did happen although I found out our recipient received the flowers before lunchtime that day (very quick delivery!). They had just the right mix that we were able to put something together in almost the exact colors as the wedding. And the value was amazing! We were able to fill 16 small vases, one large vase, have beautiful rose's for a ceremonial mothers' gift from the bride and groom, and still had more than enough.
