Same Valentine's Day disaster as stated in the other review. I placed an order to be delivered to my girlfriend's office on Valentine's Day. When 5pm hit and I had not heard a word from my girlfriend I knew they had screwed up the delivery. When I called Fallon's it seemed that I was not only one calling as they were fully aware of the issue. They tried to offer the same alternatives as the other reviewer mentioned, deliver to an alternate address that night, delivered the next day, etc. At that time what's the point? The surprise had already been ruined. Rather than continue to trust their poor service I just asked for refund. Lesson learned and I will never order from Fallon's again! read more

Ordered a flower arrangement and a teddy bear to be delivered to my girlfriends work on Valentine's Day. I did order them the day before but their website showed it was still early enough for them to be delivered the next day without issue. Throughout the process of selecting what I wanted and checking out, I didn't see anywhere that listed an estimated time frame, or some sort of ETA I could choose from. I already paid and my order was processed before it dawned on me the time of delivery was very important due to the fact she is gone for an hour for lunch. I sent an email that night asking what the ETA would be or if they knew if it would be morning/afternoon. No reply. The next morning (Valentine's day, today) I called the store to be met with an attitude from the lady working. I asked her was there a time window available for my delivery and she replied, "we aren't doing time windows today, we have over 1600 orders so I'm not even going to start!", and then added "all i can tell you is that if it is going to a business we guarantee delivery before 5!" ----- Well, not only did she seem irritated and angry that their store had that much business, my order did not arrive at her work before 5, my order never left to be delivered! Call back tonight and a sweet lady informed me that they had unexpected circumstances arise and they could deliver them tomorrow. Which, getting flowers delivered to your spouse the DAY AFTER VALENTINES DAY is embarrassing enough for both parties. If I chose that I would only be charged 33 bucks as opposed to the 101 I paid originally. Which still seemed ridiculous considering it was for Valentine's Day, not just because. They should have offered to deliver them for free and also refund me my full $101.30. But, I chose to get my money refunded and just accepted an apology from them for the embarrassment of having my girlfriend go all day thinking she wasn't getting anything. I found Fallons online & decided to order the "Aside Avon's Banks" arrangement for my daughter who lives in Raleigh. The picture online looked nice, but WOW!!! when my daughter showed me the arrangement via Skype...I was impressed!!!! Right after I made the online order...I called & asked for a subsitute color on one of the flowers pictured & the nice lady on the phone went to check to see if they had that certain color & they did. I contacted Fallons to order a bouquet of gerber daisies for my dad as they offered free delivery. Well, turned out it was snowing so they couldn't make it to the hospital before he was discharged, so they delivered them to his house the next day. I did appreciate that they cut the normal delivery fee in half since they had to go out into the suburbs, but I was disappointed when I saw the photo of what they had finally delivered as I had asked for masculine colors (red, orange and yellow) but they had thrown in baby pink and hot pink flowers into the bouquet as well. And, I had also asked them to e-mail me to let me know when they finally delivered since there was such a long delay between when I ordered and when he actually got them, but I never heard from them. So, they were great at the beginning when they let me know right away that they couldn't make it to the hospital, but not quite as great at the end with the lack of communication. Diane's team did a beautiful and very creative presentation at both the church and reception at Second Empire. When the bouquet arrived it was red carnations and baby's breath, which was not what I was expecting from the image online, which showed lilies. I called Fallon's and they were able to send an upgraded replacement bouquet the very next day, despite it being the busy Valentine's season. False advertising!!!!!!! Business sent out a marketing email mentioning a $19.95 deal for 1 dozen roses, the only catch is that it must be delivered before February 1st. No other options or flower arrangements are mentioned in the email, only the 1 dozen rose bouquet. I went to their website and select a 2 dozen rose bouquet for $37 to be delivered on Feb14th. I go through the order process, select the delivery date, and pay. I then received an order confirmation email. The next day I receive an email telling me that my order price was incorrect and the option I selected should have been $99!?! Apparently the marketing email that mentioned a special price for ONLY the 1 dozen roses actually applied to ALL other rose bouquets?!? I replied and attached the marketing email that mentioned nothing about other rose options. It's not MY responsibility to police your online ordering system! Their quality is good, I've bought from them twice in the past 6 months, but all I have to say now is: BUYER BEWARE! Sorry Fallons, I will never purchase from you ever again. read more

Diane and the rest of the team at Fallon's did a wonderful job with flowers for my wedding last weekend. After an initial meeting, I communicated with Diane through email, and she was responsive, accommodating, and flexible. I changed my mind about some of the flowers in the bouquets and added several arrangements and flowers for the wedding cake just a few weeks before the wedding, and Diane was very understanding. Fallon's also provided vases for pillar candles at the reception (I dropped off the actual candles a few days beforehand; it was cheaper to buy them myself). The bouquets were beautiful, and the reception venue looked amazing; they did an amazing job decorating with centerpieces, several larger arrangements, and candles everywhere, even more than Diane had promised to bring! I was so dissapointed. I had hinted to my husband that I wanted flowers for valentines day. He asked for my work address early on in the week and so I had an expectation. I listened for the door thinking, Is that them? Are those flowers for me? I left work and was so dissapointed thinking that he forgot. But he didn't. I said no, but on my way home, some confused lady called me on my cell phone asking me if I would be at my work address for a little while because she has a delivery for me? I'm like, no I'm on my way home now. She asked if she could bring them to my home and leave them at my doorstep? I'm like okay, gave her my address and they never came. I was so dissapointed and so was my husband. He was very upset. I had made reservations for us to have dinner and we did, but the dissapointment from not receiving flowers that day had me down, which put a damper on our evening. I live in Kansas and needed a special order created and delivered in Raleigh. This order was somewhat complicated in that up to 30 people were calling to purchase stems to be included in a bouquet, over the course of about 2 weeks. I worked out all the details with Frank, who took the time on the phone initially to understand my request and help make it happen - it was never a question of if they could do this unusual request, but how they could best make it work. Frank was responsive, friendly, and thorough throughout the process, and we ended up with a local delivery of almost100 flowers, which Frank and cohorts created to look stunning. They even took the time to take pictures of the bouquet and the delivery and email them to me, since I live far away and wouldn't get to see them in person! Frank also made an early delivery happen - we had planned the delivery for the afternoon, and at the last minute it needed to be early in the morning - and it all happened just perfectly. It was such a fun, creative and pleasant process. I would recommend Fallons far and wide! read more

I was searching for a florist every where for my wedding on aug 1st, while driving through raleigh I stumbled across Fallons. I recalled while working at a Hilton Garden Inn in Durham we used this store to deliver our Mothers Days flowers that we handed out to women that checked in. The roses were never fresh..they always had dead parts and some wilted. When I talked to the lady that helped me i will say was fantastic, sweet, and put together exactly what I dreamed of. Because she was so great I decided to go with Fallons. On my wedding day when someone brought my bouquet to me I was surprised because she added "a touch of babys breath" which I had called and made sure a week before that we would NOT be adding babys breath. I had taken a picture of what she put together at our consultation and thats exactly what I wanted and that is NOT what I got. The flowers were not ugly, BUT I had everything set up to have my bouquet preserved but I was not able to do so because it is not what I expected. I was very very upset that what we discussed was not carried out and being able to have my bouquet preserved was a little heart breaking. The centerpieces were ok, some of the hydrangeas looked wilted. read more
