I have driven by here so often that i made it a point to come here before heading to the improv. It was around 7pm and plaxe was pretty empty on a Sunday. Seated immediately however our waitress wasn't too versed on the menu. We ended up ordering the 3 meat sampler and it came w 2 sides and honestly it was enough to share. The meats we ordere were pulled chicken (pretty bland and wouldn't order again), brisket (came out cold and also bland with no flavor), and boneless wings (this redeemed the review for me). The sides were also meh. It came with cornbread which was pretty tasty. Would i come back, no. Would i recommend this place, no. I hope i came on an off night but who am i kidding, Famous in your name you should always be on point. Its a no for me. read more

I met my friend here for lunch last week. We both heard great things about this place. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with steak fries. It came with Monterey jack cheese. I didn't really care for that. I thought the chicken had a tasty flavor. My friend ordered baby back ribs with fries. She really enjoyed her meal. She said the ribs were some of the best she has ever eaten. I will try that next time. Our server was pleasant. The only thing I didn't like was that as I went to the bathroom and even when we were sat, many tables had leftover garbage on the tables from past patrons. This was on many tables. They are slow to clear off tables and that is very unappealing to me. read more

This was my first time at Famous Dave's and I had a good experience. This is all american food and it is really good. The server was very nice and with great knowledge of the menu. The ambiance is good and the setting of the restaurant is pretty cool. I ordered a platter to try many different foods and it was good and huge btw; perfect for large parties. The food was amazing! Service wasn't like, otherworldly but I absolutely appreciated it. And the checking in. Ambiance is perfectly fine, it's just like any regular American food restaurant. I did come in when it wasn't that full, but nonetheless my table got checked on around three times. Which for my stay, was plenty! Had to clarify.. Just had dinner here for my Nephew's birthday, his choice... So we were a party of 15, they were able to accommodated and seat us right away. We start by ordering drinks... Me trying to be savvy and order my drink in Spanish by saying, "Yo quero, té dulce, porfavor!" Said with confidence and conviction. I was expecting acknowledgment and a smile in return. However, all I got was a confused expression and "Que¿". I look at my wife and sister in law, who both had the same look on their face with a grin. My wife explained, Spanish grammar is not similar to English grammar. Blah, blah, blah... Nevertheless, I am giving 3 stars because of the average food quality, we had to remind them about missing sides, and my sister in law's order which was MIA, entirely. 5 out of 10, would not be a first choice in Doral. TTFN! read more

We have seen the BBQ sauce in the supermarket, so we gave the restaurant a try. We ordered the feast for one, and ordered an additional half rack of baby backs. The ribs were good, as were the Cole Slaw, muffin, and French fries. The brisket was leaner than expected, and the 1/4 chicken was delicious. The only negative was that the ear of corn was kind of tough. Pretty quiet for a Sunday night. read more

First time dining, very clean, the service was great and the food was delicious it was 3 of us and we got the feast for 2 it was more than enough given that we were really hungry, the ribs are a must and their bread pudding was DELICIOUS you must try it and their prices are great we spent a little under $100 for 3 people. Absolutely delicious. I got the ribs and they were soooo good. Best ribs I've ever had. Definitely smoky. The BBQ sauces they have are all delicious. I had had the beans, corn bread and coke slaw to go with the ribs and the different flowers complemented each other. I definitely recommend this place if your in a BBQ mode. By D's daughter, I like ribs. OK, that's under statement. I LOVE ribs! Famous dave's is definitely one of my favorites. Fast service, great food, and the right price( yes I check the price). Famous Dave's was good!!. Plenty of seating available so the wait time was short for a busy Saturday. I recommend the "roasted chicken" real juicy and flavorful chicken. Not dry and roasted to perfection. Delicious Choice with two sides. Great deal can't beat it. Lots of parking, nice staff, great drink choices and weekly deals available for pick up to take food home. Good location read more

I've been to Famous Dave's three times and it's been awesome every time!!! Today we all got the lunch specials and literally there was enough leftovers to be dinner for a couple people. For my platter I had brisket, spare rib tips and chicken tenders. The tenders were huge and crunchy and tasty. The spare rib tips amazing and the brisket was to die for! They top off your meal with a fresh home made corn muffin. This is our go to slot after topgolf Tuesdays! read more

Went here last night and had a really good experience. There is lots of seating inside and outside, with the inside being nice and modern. We sat outside that had a lot of tables under a tent, safe from any rain. The server assigned to us was new and in training, there was another server by his side. They were both very friendly, professional. We arrived during happy hour (4pm-7pm) and they told us that amongst drink and beer specials, bottles of wine were half off. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc (only $18) and it was just perfect. The menu has many different items; main entrees are approximately $30 and up. For dinner we ordered the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs and brisket. The baby back ribs were outstanding, not too saucy, and very tender. They gave us a bottle of sauce at the table, but we didn't need it as the ribs were perfect tasting on their own. The accompanied coleslaw tasted nice and fresh. Cornbread muffin was also tasty. Service and food here is really good and we look forward stopping in again. read more

Had never heard of this place before and happened to be in the area and decided to pop in to try it based on reviews and pictures. So glad we decided to try something new. The menu options sounded delicious, the food was tasty and the customer service was great. Our server was Lloyd. There's outdoor and indoor seating available. They also had different sports games playing on the TVs inside. The pricing was a tad high compared to other bbq spots, but the quality and portions were definitely worth it. They have happy hour and weekly specials, so be sure to find out about those. All in all, I have no complaints and can't wait to come back to try more items. If you're into bbq, this is the spot! Location is great- right next to city place Doral. This chain restaurant serves all things BBQ and burgers amongst your typical "bar" food. On this visit, we walked right in on a Saturday night and I ordered the churrasco with corn and their mash potato salad, my husband had the ribs with (I can't remember what else, I'm sorry) and it was okay. The server we got was a bit sassy, but okay. I had to take my steak back because when I ordered medium, I got well done. Over all it's an okay place but there's many delicious and cheaper options in Miami for a good Parrilla. One thing we liked is that the restaurant has "private parking" for restaurant guests. Other than that, it's a chain and the food is as expected. read more

Came here on a Wednesday for a business lunch and it was fantastic! Hostess sat me at a large table while I waited for others and set menus, place settings and wipes thru out the table. Our waitress was attentive and quick - as it was a work day and we were needing to be in and out. The food was great & what a great value too! Went here was very hungry orders the 2 meat special which came up to $16 dollars and change I checked my food before I left it looked good but did not taste it when I got home tried the food the ribs was so dried up and they gave me hard rib tips and tasted very salty only think I enjoyed was the cornbread and the small portion of lukewarm mashed potatoes $16 was alot to pay for warm food and dry ribs who ever put those ribs in that boxs should be ashamed I did not enjoy that if I didn't stay far I would have taken it back I want go back disappointed customer read more

Solid spot for some good BBQ. We stopped in here on a Sunday craving something different and they delivered. My wife had the pulled BBQ chicken which she enjoyed. We each had the Mac n Cheese which was an interesting take on the dish - spicy and with corn. I had the St. Louis Ribs lunch special. ($11) It was hearty and filling. 5 Bones. Just enough sauce, just enough char and some good smokiness to them. I would order them again. They have a number of sauces to try - be sure to ask. The 'Rich and Sassy' was good. The place was clean, parking easy and they made us feel at home. Very low crowds on a Sunday afternoon so ideal to pop in for lunch. It's right on 41st st on Doral Cityplace. Ordered the St Louis Rib - n- Meat Combo with Brisket. $24.79 It came with 2 sides and a corn bread muffin. Potato Salad (good) & Baked Beans (good). A side of Chopped Pork $5.79 Sweet iced tea $2.99 Guillermo, my server did a great job. OK THE FOOD: 4 Ribs - Good flavor but mushy tender and fatty. First time I tried this place was in Sandusky, Ohio inside of the Cedar Point amusement park and it was amazing and have not had a chance to go back since.... But now we have a location in Doral. Ordered two meat platter delivered by Uber. Chose pulled pork and brisket. The value of food over cost was angering. We will not order from here again. Good baked beans. Corn bread nice. But the portion of "pulled pork" and "brisket" could not have been 3oz of protein. I felt ripped off at $25.00. The protein did not impart Smokey flavor. The Baked Potato was just that and very skimpy portion of protein. Six of us were dissatisfied. read more

It looked like they took a regular sized patty and split the meat in half in order to make a double stack burger, so the patties were tiny (see my picture). The burger was a little overcooked and dry; I requested a medium cooked patty and got it well-done. The French fries were perfect. The chicken in the quesadilla was a little dry, but the whole thing tasted good and had a good flavor. I also ordered a Mango Veza Sur beer from the tap; so refreshing, I love the local beer in Miami.

We were lucky to be under the specialized and meticulous care of Idelis, one of the bartenders and a founder of this Doral location. We started with a tasting of the Wines of the Month: * The Gold Rush California Red; highly cherry-fruity with nice depth. * The Vinho Verde; crisp, refreshing, with a very light bubbly sensation. After the tasting, and keeping in mind her preference for reds, we decided to go with 2 bottles of Pinot Noir; elegant, with beautiful red fruit notes, soft tannins, and that classic silky finish that makes it so versatile and easy to enjoy. We started with the house pretzel bun with butter, which is always excellent. From the seasonal menu, we tried the Crispy Barbacoa Arancini, which were very good. For the main course, my girlfriend ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna and I had the Shanghai Braised Short Rib; tender, perfectly cooked meat with a delicious soy-chili glaze, accompanied by roasted broccolini, shiitake mushrooms, and wasabi silky buttery mashed potatoes. The portions were perfect and the mix of flavors in the sauce and the mashed potatoes is something I can't even describe absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, the Summer Peach Butter Cake (the seasonal option) was already finished, which was very disappointing we couldn't understand why, especially since it was relatively early. We ended up ordering the Key Lime Pie instead, which was very balanced in flavor and sweetness. The crust was excellent and gave the impression of being homemade. Another great visit overall at Cooper's Hawk. The service, the wine, and most of the food never disappoint.

This was my second time at Dave's. The first time the service was super slow but the huge selection on the menu and it was tasty so it helped put it pass it. Tonight was uncalled for. I got seated pretty quick but then the nightmare started. I was waiting for about 15 mins without anyone asking me if I even wanted water.... honestly I was not surprised. The first time I went I had to wait without any service as well. Finally I stood up and asked if I can get a high chair for my daughter. After a few minutes of still waiting I saw the front desk girl pass by and she asked if everything was ok.... I replied... I think I'm going to go.... she rolled her eyes and said ok it's your choice.... I was stunned! The place was not packed at all. Same thought I had last time crossed my mind.... where is the manager of the place? Last time I find myself eating here... what a shame food is good service is really shitty. read more

My coworker and I are on business in Miami and of course we are looking for great customer service along with tasty food. The customer service here at Famous Dave's BBQ is outstanding and the food was equally amazing. This place has energetic young people that is supported by management. The manager ( Jonathan Rodriguez ) came to the table and was glowing with enthusiasm. Mr. Johnny was like the icing on the cake. His team that consist of a Server (Aldo Jimenez) and two young college students from Texas that is in training. These two guys ( Kahlil & Cam Overton are twins and they light the place up with great personalities. This was our second visit and was equally impressed during both visits. There is a Server (Lester) that impressed us to the point of us returning the very next day. This place supports our youth and upcoming leaders. Kudos to Famous Dave's BBQ. read more

These employees are the main reason we meet at Famous Dave's, they are extremely attentive, courteous and professional. We can say with certainty if these employees leave, we will most likely take our weekly meetings to another venue, probably follow them to that new location. On 8/9/18, Laura took my Uber Eat order. I was not very familiar with UE and was a bit skeptic with scams in Miami from previous business travel. Laura was very good in explaining/walking me through the process. She assisted me with the ordering tool as my order was unique as i was taking it on a plane. Get here and be prepared to wait, or call ahead and because there's always a wait. We were lucky to snag a high table in the bar area which is first come first serve. Very bad experience. Today I bought food at this restaurant and found a nail inside a chorizo. This is not only unpleasant, it is extremely dangerous for any customer. This type of situation demonstrates a serious lack of quality control and hygiene. I could have seriously hurt myself. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously it deserves and reviews its processes immediately to prevent something like this from happening to someone else. My brother reccomend we tried Famous Dave's pork ribs once I'm in Miami and wow speechless i think this should be the first place in Miami anyone should try, not only was the pork good but so was everything else that we've tried, thanks to Giancario our server who helped us picked some of the most delicious meals I've had on my stay here, his personal opinion from the bar was also mind blowing. I am extremely disappointed with the service we received. We placed an order for a $350+ lunch for our 16 employees, and several meals were missing or incomplete, with sides missing as well. When we called to address the issue, we were placed on hold indefinitely. We tried calling again to speak with a manager, but they were reportedly too busy to address our concerns. Ordered from Uber Eats on Feb. 5, 2022 Deserves less than zero stars. All except for potato and cole slaw went directly into the garbage bin. Brisket and pulled pork were both Old and Cold and Overcooked, maybe they were fresh a couple of days ago. The bun was Stale and inedible. The broccoli was mushy and overcooked. I did the math myself, more than once, because I genuinely could not believe what I was looking at. I am not a tax attorney, but even I know that being charged tax twice on the same items is not normal, not standard, and not something I should have to catch myself. I understand that some restaurants apply automatic gratuity to large parties because splitting a big check and handling a bigger table is more work for the server, and I get that, that makes sense. But I was sitting alone at the bar during happy hour. There was no large party. There was no complicated split. There was just me, ordering my food and drinks like a normal customer, and somehow I still got hit with an automatic gratuity charge as if I had rolled in with a party of twelve. That is not fair, and I don't think it should be the customer's job to cover an automatic fee that was clearly meant for larger groups. If your policy is going to apply gratuity fees regardless of party size, that needs to be disclosed clearly, upfront, before I order, not buried in a bill I only see after the fact. Honestly, between the double taxation and the unwarranted gratuity fee, I feel like I was charged for things I should not have been charged for, and I think 107 Steak & Bar needs to take responsibility for this. I believe the store, not the customer, should absorb the cost of an automatic gratuity fee when it is mistakenly applied to a single customer's bill. That is a business error, not a customer error, and it should not come out of my pocket. I am asking for the following: 1. A full refund or credit for the duplicate tax charge on my bill. 2. A refund or removal of the automatic gratuity fee, since I was dining alone and did not agree to or warrant that charge. 3. Some explanation as to how this happened, so I have some confidence this won't happen to me or another customer again. I really wanted to enjoy my time at your restaurant, and I know mistakes happen, but this is exactly the kind of thing that makes a customer think twice about coming back. I would appreciate a prompt response and a resolution to this matter, because right now I am not a happy customer, and "happy hour" is starting to feel like a bit of a joke. Majority of our family enjoyed everything we ate - I selected French toast, Caesar, empanadas, salmon, branzino, parilla, gnocchi and bolognese - and all were happy! Would def dine again.

My burgers were getting cold while he was putting items on the grill for new people that just walked in. I'm not even home yet. My burgers are cold. The chips are soggy back in the day. That was one of the only taverns now there's plenty of competition better ambience, and better food. I would've continued to visit the keg if the food was decent and the service was decent. This will be the last time I ever go there.
