First time here with my parents. They've had great luck in the past. Good menu selection, cozy environment and GREAT service. I like their outlook on the waitstaff, basically everyone is your waiter or waitress so there's not a long wait for anything that you need. To start off breakfast they bring out some cornbread and apple butter- delicious! Mimosas are served any time, anything with harder alcohol is only served after 10am. Wait times were short and turnaround time for the food was excellent. My only complaint was that the hash browns were overly seasoned to the point they were just way too spicy and I couldn't eat them. We gave our waiter some feedback and he was very open to hearing us- he also said another person mentioned the same thing at another table. I'm sure if the seasoning was toned back a bit the hash browns would have been delicious and flavorful. I will definitely be back. I LOVE the quiche! It's truly my favorite in Myrtle Beach and has me coming back again and again, no matter what the flavor of the day is. The crust on it is out of this world. Plus the dish is incredibly filling and perfect for a brunch. I'm also addicted to the fresh squeezed OJ. Delicious! Very nice, clean, inviting restaurant. Pleasant workers, servers. Visited on Fathers Day, was crowded as expected. I'll get rid of the negative first. My daughter and I had two drinks apiece, her orange juice, me tomatoe juice. Our drinks were a quarter of the bill. It was good, but it wasn't like we were drinking mixed drinks. For two glasses of juice to cost more than my meal is a bit excessive. BUT, the food, service and atmosphere here is worth five stars. I had the corned beef hash, and it was most excellent. My daughter had a sandwich and enjoyed it as well. The wife had a couple of side dishes, said it was an excellent breakfast. It would be a six star rating if they would make chipped beef gravy over toast. No one down here makes it, and they would be first. I always think that with all the Yankees down here visiting, someone would offer that. If I ever find a breakfast place that makes it, I will be there every weekend! Been here several times, always with someone else. Good food albeit slow service but didnt matter since I had company. Today I was by myself and got seated in the back. Place was not too crowded. I asked about quiche of the day. Waiter did not know (it was around 11:00). Came back and said it was ham, tomato and cheese. After a few bits it became cold, sent it back. Ordered fruit cup with it and cantaloupe was grainy. Quiche was okay. I was reading on my kindle while waiting for a box and refill. Finally I realized no one was checking on me. I tried to get their attention to no avail. I continued to wait, loosing patience. I finally called the resturant and told him I was waiting in the back. I had now been waiting 30 minutes. Three people apologized profusely, the latter appeared to be a manager. I expressed my displeasure to each individual. No one, not a single person offered any consolation for lack of service. I was there approximately one hour. I left pissed. read more

Drove up to Myrtle Be act from Charleston SC. Wide and I were getting pretty hungry. Found Famous Toastery and we amazed at both the quality of the food and exceptional service. Absolutely every employee we spoke with as well as the owner, were amazingly friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. A very pleasant experience! We will definitely return on our next visit to Myrtle Beach. Now, for even better news, there are plans for new franchises to open in the Charleston SC area in the near future. When this place first opened, I was very satisfied with the food. With the everyone Is your server method, of course there's going to be a lack of attention at times, but the quality of the food made up for it. Fast forward to now, I have given this place multiple tries after a few negative experiences. I have found that the quality of food has declined rapidly with it being mediocre at best. Food has come out cold, items and requests have been forgotten, bland food, and small portions for the price. Service has continued to be an issue including refills and forgotten requests. When going to the bathroom, I had sticky feet throughout the entire walk back to my table and to pay the bill. The hostess could careless about my negative experiences which I have been vocal about multiple times. Once the ticket is handed to you, you are forgotten and rarely spoken to if you need anything. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. There are other breakfast/lunch restaurants in the area that are far superior. read more

Our Ladies Lunch group decided to select this for this month's venue. This was my first, and will be my last visit to your establishment. Though there were enough servers to accommodate a large group, the service was slow and the food came out randomly. No one received their food at the same time, and most of it was lukewarm. In addition I had ordered a take-out order for my husband's lunch. I ordered the tuna melt, and was asked to select a side from a list that was rattled off. I selected mac and cheese and did not realize until my bill came that I had been charged extra. At no time was there any mention of additional charges. I had also ordered the bagel breakfast and it was packed up in a deconstructed manner (minus the schmear, which she brought when I asked). When I looked at the amount of lox for the price you were charging, only one slice given, I asked for a little more. When she returned with the new takeout container that was more loxs and there was an additional bill (for $3 more). At that point I told her to remove the item from the bill and keep it. She said she would inform the manager, and at no time did the manager come out even though I told her I would be leaving a terrible review on Yelp. In my opinion the service is poor, and management is lacking customer service skills. Our group will not be returning to this establishment and hopefully you won't try it either. read more

Excellent food! I had a flapjack and egg combo. My son had an omelet with shrimp and sausage which was outstanding! The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars was the service. The waiter asked if we have ever been there. We said it was our first time, he said all the servers work together so just ask any server (didn't realize that was a goodbye speech). Our food was served, check was put down. I asked for more coffee and water. Never saw the server or waiter again. Over all, I will definitely go back and recommend this place, the atmosphere is awesome but I guess if you need something, you need to be outgoing. read more

We found this place by accident and love it. We have been there twice my wife enjoyed her breakfast and I loved mine. When we were checking out we met the owners a husband and wife team. We told them we didn't try their coffee because we had tea and they offered us a free to go cup. These are really friendly and customer oriented owners. First what they call hash browns isn't hash browns they are potatoes cut in squares with the peel still on and some spices and the ham taste like the grill and my opinion it is over priced sorry to say we won't be going back. read more

I took my son here the other day for a date and really enjoyed everything! The meals were a good size, flavor was there especially their home fries!. It was very clean and the whole "every server is your server" mentality is unique. It's a little strange bc of that though, bc you feel like you're saying "we're good" multiple times more than usual bc everyone is checking on you. The only downside is the cost. With tip, it was $31 for a BLT and kids breakfast and 2 drinks. I understand the Fresh made principal and approach, but in the end eggs are eggs. Toast is toast. Bacon is bacon. $11 for a BLT is a bit much. And kids meals $7 not including drinks is rough. He got 3 small silver dollar pancakes with eggs n potatoes, had to add sausage for almost $4 more. He didn't even need the potatoes, maybe broaden the options and it may be more sensible. (I'm aware there was a fruit bowl/etc but he honestly just wanted some sausage) We'll keep this place in mind, but stay with more local inexpensive options for everyday breakfast places. read more

Update- I've actually been several more times since the times I went before. One time was actually right after the hurricane and was one of the only places open. Too many tempting menu choices! I settled on the SMG (spinach mushroom gruyere) omelet. It was large and very tasty. Home fries were excellent. Went here for breakfast on a whim. Staff was friendly and helpful. All of the servers in the restaurant are your server. They don't have individual tables they are assigned to which is nice. If you need something you don't have to wait until you see your server....anyone will be more then happy to help you. I did find it a little pricy for breakfast, but the food seemed fresh and it was a nice atmosphere. If I'm in the area and want breakfast I would go back for sure. read more

Adorable breakfast spot. I love the overall atmosphere here, especially how "every server is your server." I throughly enjoyed my strawberry & cream cheese stuffed French toast, it was amazing! I ordered my bacon extra crispy, and it kind of was but it was also quite greasy. My boyfriend said his eggs Benedict came out cold, but overall they were still pretty good and personally I really liked the spiced potatoes that he ordered with it. I would definitely return!
