    Lunch and pool
    Natalie B.

Went for the first time on Tuesday for the lunch and pool special. Carlos checked me in and had me set up to play quickly. Told me not to sleep on their pizza, and he was absolutely correct. The old fashioned I ordered was also excellent. As far as the billiards, this one of the most well set up places I've been to. Tables are spaced out nicely, so you almost can't run into someone at the adjacent tables. House cues line the room and are within feet of any table. Clearly, they take good care of the tables and cues here. Guest count was pretty low, but it was also a lunch hour on a weekday. There are bar-height tables and stools located near every table as well. Makes it feel like you've got a little bit of space dedicated to your table. Curious if it still feels that way during busy hours. Overall, the service was great, the food was tasty, my drink was well-balanced, tables are managed really well, and the general setup is lovely. Carlos was very attentive, helpful, and super polite. I would definitely come back again for a busy night. BRING ID. Not sure why there's a recent trend in people not carrying their ID or license, but you will need it to enter and play.

    Finally got my beer

Is a pretty cool place to hang out. I and my friend usually come here every now and then to catch a game of pool. I usually grab a beer, and we chit-chat and game. This is pretty cool during the week or early in the day when the price is just 7 bucks an hour and it is not that crowded. On the weekends and late after 6 pm the price increases to about 20 bucks an hour, and it gets busy. Although it is not crazy crazy busy, it is still enough for the waitresses to not be able to keep up. On my last visit it took 25 mins into my hour for a waitress to show up and take my drink order, and that's only because I flagged someone down and asked why no one had shown yet. They are supposed to go around all pool tables and take orders. I saw multiple pass by us and take other orders but never took ours. This was pretty disappointing. I've had good experiences here before, but usually before 6 pm. This was my first time coming at 7 pm and dealing with this, and I am not a fan. I would say coming early is cheaper and better service.

    Regulation 9 foot tables.

Came here upon a recommendation from a guy who was checking my gas meter. I'm so glad we checked this place out. I've gone to another place in the valley for decades and this place was 2/3's the hourly rate cheaper! $7.00 an hour to play on regulation tables. The establishment is clean. Carlos introduced himself and offered us table 4 in the corner. Even though someone said there's room to move around, you are still next to people taking their shots. We got here fairly early, but when we left two hours later, the place was packed. They have house cues, but we brought our own. The only thing they don't have is chalk for your hands. Next time, I'll use baby powder. The music is good. They have a wide variety, however, when the song was changing, it seemed like it was glitching. The bathrooms are clean and have 2 stalls for the ladies. We didn't try any food here, but they do have an area to sit and eat in the front. Only bad thing is people sit right outside the front door to smoke on the patio. Not good for people with asthma.

Met with my old colleagues for dinner and to play pool. I had a fantastic time. The food was good and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is nice they just need to upgrade the furniture and carpet. Note: Their wings are delicious.

Pool Table Prices (by the hour)

This is my third time coming here. It's a real gem in Burbank if you want a casual spot to eat, drink play a few games of pool. Or even to watch sports. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Restrooms were very clean. Pool is $7-$19 per hour depending on day of the week and time. Really cool spot. Plenty of tables and screens all around.

First off, This here is a classy joint. Follow the rules, share the space, be respectful & have fun. If you got some rowdy/sloppy drunk ghetto friends .. just take your @$$ to Lynwood/South Gate bruh!! Plenty of ice-cold drinks on tap. Service was phenomenal!! Definitely coming back.

They do have parking behind the building which seems to fill pretty quickly if they're busy, but it's easy to find parking around the neighborhood. I am not usually in the tavern scene so I was surprised that we had to order and pay at the bar, but it wasn't a big issue. My friend and I split the kale caesar salad and the macaroni and cheese. For the table, I ordered the waffle fries after being informed by the kind waitress that that was the better choice over the pretzel (which she also said was amazing). Since the place was filling up for the final, the kitchen was a bit slow, but we barely noticed with how attentive the staff were in getting us drinks and refills. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and is honestly the reason I'm writing this review. The first things we got were the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries, Caesar Salad, and mac and cheese. Obviously the fries were much better, however the salad was also divine but just swimming in dressing. Back to the fries, we all were mindblown with how tavern fries could be this good and had so many flavors. Even the skinny queens in our group kept snacking on them which tells you how good these were. Mac and cheese came and it was standard and creamy but not necessarily something I'd return for. The surprising thing on top of the fries that majority of us loved was the Vegan Tomato Scampi with shrimp. It was fire and had me questioning if it was even Vegan. Would definitely return here if I find my way back to SoCal from the Bay. Great unassuming place with great food and vibes. Their bathroom as well is super clean and nice! Love this place!

We ordered the house IPAs and they were deliciously hoppy. Will be back to try their other house beers for sure. We ordered the brussel sprouts with bacon for our appetizer. The figs was such a nice sweet layer to the crispy, crunch, and tart brussels. Paired well with the bacon too. Ordered the proscuitto with arugula flatbread for our "main". Amazed that it was $14 and it was a pretty big flatbread! I would say that the proscuitto wasnt spread out enough. There were some pieces that didnt have any at all! The proscuitto gave the salty, arugula added a nice pepper flavor, and the honey drizzle gave it a sweetness. Checked all the boxes. The burger was cooked closer to well done but still juicy and the bacon jam was sweet and salty to really bring it all together. The fried pickles were lightly breaded but not soggy at all. Each piece from start to end was crunchy and seasoned really well. The fries were breaded, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The beer options seem ended here. I ordered at the bar like always, and the bartender took my order and then walked towards the kitchen. Now I know they usually give you your drink right then and there, but they were busy and I assumed he was going to take care of something else first, which is completely fine! What I didn't expect was this other bartender, who was on the complete other side of the bar and didn't communicate me with at all, was actually filling my drink. I didn't realize that, because he didn't tell me, so I turned to walk back to my table. This rude bartender thought I was abandoning my drink or something, and used his big boy voice to yell "YOUR DRINK!" so loudly that everyone at the bar stopped to stare at me, and some were laughing. Now I didn't know that intentionally embarrassing your patrons is how you guys do business, but ok, whatever makes you feel important I guess... The original bartender who took my order came by and checked and on our table later in the night, and he asked us something that neither my friend or I could hear, so I said "I'm sorry, what?" and he rolled his eyes and walked away. Alternatively, a few months ago, my husband and his friend came here and they received the complete opposite treatment - free drinks, conversations with the bartenders, and were welcomed. I never come into a restaurant/bar, especially a small business, expecting anything for free, that isn't my point at all. I do however expect basic manners and respect. Based on our very different experiences recently, there does seem to be a hint of misogyny going on here. This place used to be cool and friendly, and food has always been great, but the men who work here completely ruin it. It's really disappointing.
