They never have two employees working at the same time to do our back to back pedicures. They call back needing to reschedule because an employee took the day off. One year we rescheduled three times! Now, for the first time, I realized we were getting totally scammed!!! I went somewhere else for a pedicure. Same price as allure. Wow, what a difference in pedicures. I was missing out. This new place did three different scrubs on my feet AND legs! Got my skin around the toes clipped, had my feet scrubbed with a stone. Even got my feet AND legs massaged! Allure is totally ripping off their pedicure clients! You are getting the bare minimum of a pedicure which is basically the water soak, hot towel wrap and polish. You can get so much more of a pedicure elsewhere! Not to mention, allure has a very limited selection of polish colors. No fun colors at all. Their colors are very boring and blah. I will never go back to allure for a pedicure! Definitely not getting your money's worth!

Thing is, you find a great stylist, you hang on for dear life! Mine took my 11-year old daughter's long, thick, coarse blanket of hair, and our vague opinions as to what should be done, and working with us the entire time--never forcing her will--came up with an age-appropriate, but fashion forward style. She taught my daughter how to style it and reminded her that it was okay to not do much at all with it. She kept in mind that fractions of inches were as important as miles to the tween set. In short, she is a gem. Greeters and schedulers are always professional and courteous. Prices are slightly too steep for us to keep our kids coming regularly; but as I lazily only get mine cut once or twice a year, the cost doesn't bother me. Requiring a cut every month or so, it was tough to get the spouse to come even once, used as he was to his $15 cuts. But after seeing what could be done with his thinning hair, he hasn't looked back! I have no experience with the colorists, but they always look busy and committed, and I would certainly choose Rocco Altobelli for coloring if needed. Next time, maybe a temporary tattoo?

We showed her a photo of what we wanted. She listened asked a couple clarifying questions and then asked what my son would like to watch on TV. Rochelle did a great job praising my son, working quickly and efficiently and when she was done cutting asked us if we had any changes we would like made and then showed us a couple ways to style his hair. My husband and I left really happy. Haircut was $17 and we ended up buying the product (specially designed for toddlers hair). Overall great experience, don't let the terrible old reviews sway you from giving it a try!

We have two boys now, and I am very particular about how the haircut looks. All of the "stylists" (don't want to call them employees) have so receptive and interactive with my requests for their haircuts, and have done fantastic jobs with the haircuts! She was done in 20 mins and I was slightly disappointed the appointment was over so quickly. Walking into the place is welcoming and clean. I love the high ceilings with crystal chandeliers. A fancy warehouse feel with sleek lines and open spaces. Customer products available for purchase at the counter and on display shelves in the waiting area. Easy to get to from hwy 65 and Main St (125th Ave, hwy 242). Plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend and may make another appointment for other services.
